Which fun dinner choice would you prefer?

Jana, on April 12, 2020 at 7:59 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 20

We've narrowed it down to 3 ideas: Chinese, Mexican and burgers. As a guest, which would you be most interested in?

I would prefer Mexican. Burgers maybe if it was a wedding in a park in the middle of the day but not for an evening wedding.

I agree! Burgers seem extremely laid back so unless you are having a very causal wedding I wouldn't go with burgers. Chinese food could be a hit or miss kind of thing. I personally love Mexican. We had a nacho bar as our late night snack.

I would pick Mexican! I feel out of the 3 choices Mexican has a major variety of items and toppings that would allow for all guests to leave happy and full.

Mexican would be my first choice, and burgers my second choice! Chinese food can be difficult because soy is a very common food allergy these days, and pretty much all Chinese food is made with soy sauce.

Mexican. Chinese seems way to informal and not everyone likes it..burgers are cool but I'd prefer Mexican

Mexican for sure. I wouldn’t do burgers if your not having a BBQ style wedding. And Chinese is also kind of informal unless that is your culture.

I prefer Chinese. Mexican food makes me bloat and to me it is not a good idea for “the night” 🤣 🙊. Burger.... 🤔 I never been in a wedding that served burger.

Unless the chefs specialty is Chinese, I’d go with Mexican.

Mexican unless the Chinese food is from an amazing restaurant.

Mexican! Chinese and burgers feel too average. As a guest, I’d be super excited about some good Mexican food.

I'd want burgers, but that is rather informal... and you'd have to make sure to account for vegans/vegetarians, and other dietary restrictions.

Mexican. Save the burgers for a birthday party. Also, Mexican has better vegetarian options.

Personally love all three but Mexican catering seems like a safer choice for a crowd. You could get plenty of different options so people could have variety and you could accommodate for dietary needs. Chinese isn’t usually allergy friendly!

I vote Mexican, lots of options - with or without salsa, chicken or veggie. i feel it's easier as well.

Mexican. Burgers are too casual and many people don’t eat Chinese food.

I personally love all of those! I think Mexican is the most versatile though, and the best option for vegetarians. If you choose burgers there aren’t many options in general. Your venue and time of day might play a role in the decision too.
