What is your drink of choice? Either alcoholic or non- ? What are you serving to guests?

Why serve something you don't like though?

We are getting sparkling cider in our 1 hr limo ride, and after the ceremony we will have a tea break. Choices are tea, coffee, and juices.

Fiancé and others don’t drink but our family most friends do so we figured a limited bar with 1 red wine, 1 white wine, 2-3 beer options, lemonade, tea, and sodas (for sure Dr Pepper for me and Mountain Dew for the groom). We are toying with the idea of a signature cocktail like a spiked lemonade or something mixed with a soda option but haven’t decided.

My husband aha he was pretty hell bent on having that. it's also a cultural thing that cognac is typically served. and our venue gave us the wine for free actually. so in the end i didn't quite care to have mixed drinks or anything like that due to our budget.

It’s totally fine to just serve beer/wine & non-alcoholic drinks (maybe 1-2 soda types and iced tea).

My hubby & I like wine! If it was a casual wedding Or BBQ/burgers food he might drink beer.

We weren’t allowed to serve liquor. But I would still serve things I don’t like if i know many guests do like them. We had beer, red & white wine, water, cheerwine (soda), lemonade and sweet and unsweet tea.

I’m not big on beer, but we had our Welcome Dinner at a brewery and served beer and wine (they didn’t serve liquor at the brewery).

At our wedding we had a full open bar. We also served margaritas as our signature drink since it was National Margarita Day and because we love our tequila! Our after party was the same— full open bar.

We had a couple of adult punches with beer and wine, and for nonA egg cream( fam from ny), lemonade, tea, soda, water. For later when kids went home, aunts surprised us and brought out soaked fruit and fancy jelly shots🤷‍♀️

I'm pretty picky about what beer and wine I like. I love hard cider! At my wedding we had 2 kinds of beer, 1 red and 1 white wine, and 2 kinds of hard cider. I was surprised, we actually ran out of the cider! We also had an Italian soda stand and lemonade. And water of course

I don't drink at all, but DH and most of the rest of our circle do, and it's standard in our region to have an open bar.

Our venue included open bar in the price/head, so everything was included.

We're doing a full open bar, but I'd imagine you could do beer/wine and one signature cocktail, and supplement with non-alcoholic drinks. Then people have sufficient choice, but you don't have to break the bank doing multiple forms of liquor.

Most of the people we know don't drink beer or wine opting for other drinks instead, so serving just that would be a waste. I was also curious since we have a number of kids and nondrinkers we plan to invite, what are some good nonalcoholic options beyond soda?

Oh, okay, I understand. Yeah, that does make it hard choosing which alcohols to offer. I hope you come up with something!

For non-alcoholic options other than soda, you could try lemonade, iced tea, seltzer water, or any kind of flavored water made with fruit juices, etc. Good luck!

Elizabeth made some great suggestions. You could also do a punch bowl which is especially nice if it's going to be outside and hot since you could put ice cream/sherbet into it.

Our venue allows us to bring whatever we want, so long as we pay for a park ranger to hang out for the wedding. We're going to have a variety of wines and beers, but FH is a dark rum guy and I'm a good Irish girl who drinks Jameson Smiley tongue so we plan to have a little of everything and, whatever is left over, will be handed off to whomever wants it because our wedding is out of town from where we live and we're flying out from that city's airport the next day for the honeymoon.

If you cant do open bar what about beer, wine and 1-2 signature drinks. Or mimosa bar.

For my brunch part of my bridal shower I'm doing a mimosa bar w/ maybe 1 vodka,1 rum and tequila to go with juices.

My FH is not a beer or wine drinker so we decided to do a peach sangria because peach is one of his favorite flavors. We're doing 10 gallons of it and have a guest list of 160. We know not everyone coming will drink and we are also serving beer and wine so the sangria is something special and when it's gone it's gone

I don't drink beer or wine but fiance drinks beer on occasion. Most of our friends/intended guests prefer hard liquor, either straight/mixed or frozen ..or nonalcoholic drinks such as Italian sodas, Dr Pepper, flavored lemonades. They would not drink beer or wine only so while we will have some on hand, we don't expect many to drink them.
