I honestly had absolutely no idea! My fiancé bought tickets for us to go see The Lion King on Broadway for Christmas! The theater was next door to Carmine’s and all I wanted to do was go there for dinner but he continually said no! He told me he was taking me to a local yesterday back home instead. So we got back on the train, and then headed home to freshen up before dinner. We go to the local restaurant, which is called Yesterday’s, and unfortunately when we arrived our table wasn’t ready (or so I thought). They sat us at the bar to wait for our table. A few minutes later my fiancé tells me that he needs to use the restroom. I sat at the bar by myself watching whatever was on the tv at the time. My fiancé returns and then it’s time for us to be seated. We’re taken into the back room and to my surprise my family is sitting around a table waiting for us! At first I was completely confused. I had no idea what was going on. I did figure something was up though because my brother was wearing jeans and he never does! But anyway, the waiter comes and asks us what we’d all like for dinner. While we waiting for our means, I see everyone start to get weird and look around at each other. I turned my head and to my surprise my fiancé was down on one knee! It was one of the best moments of my life and it couldn’t have happened around more amazing people. He really did a great job!
