Sugarjones baked the cake as well as about 10 different types of mini desserts for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with them! They were very easy to work with and their desserts are all delicious. They have options for every type of sweet tooth and were also able to provide gluten free choices for our guests. We would happily eat any baked treat you put in front of us from Sugarjones -- they're really that good! -

Lauren Sent on 06/26/2016We've had SugarJones prior to being engaged/planning a wedding, so we knew right away they would be our dessert vendor. We met with a coordinator who did a wonderful job of helping determine how many cupcakes we would need based on the number of guests. She was very organized, let us know of any additional charges (which we didn't end up with any), and gave us 12 different cupcakes to try. They were on time with their delivery on wedding day, and the cupcake tower looked amazing. They even coordinated the little sugar balls/flavor cards with our colors. Those additional touches made everything special. I would highly recommend them for your wedding (or just in general) - everyone loved the cupcakes.

Not only were the details artistically and elegantly done, but they made each layer of my cake a different flavor, all of which all 170 of my guests still rave about to me even weeks after my wedding. I am so thankful I went with them for the most important cake I will ever have had. -
User2004996 Sent on 01/11/2015We had Sugarjones create a dessert table for our wedding with a two tiered cake, cupcakes, and cake pops. Everything was beautiful and so delicious!! I have never tasted a cake as good anywhere in the Rockford/Chicago area!! The best by far! I gave them the design I wanted with exact details, and it was created perfectly! -
User1357224 Sent on 10/01/2013Sugar Jones did an amazing job on my wedding cake. Kathy was very prompt in returning and emails or phone calls and answering all of my questions. Absolutely hassle free. All I had to do was to provide them with my flavor options and a picture of a cake that I had in mind. I cannot believe that they made my wedding cake exactly as it was in the picture. They did a fantastic job and the cake tasted amazing. I received many compliments from my guests and I cannot wait to go back and do more business with them. -

User2246804 Sent on 07/28/2015SugarJones made THE MOST AMAZING cupcakes for our wedding. I found them when a friend had them at her wedding, and I tasted the best cupcake of my life. I knew at that point I would be serving them at my own wedding, whenever that happened to be.
Our experience at the tasting was great, everything was explained clearly and we were informed that my aunt could pick up the cupcakes for us even though they were going to be closed that day. Later in the process, I was working with a different employee, and she wanted to charge me for delivery, or have my aunt store the cupcakes overnight. The service was a little weird at times, but they're very nice, and really the cupcakes are so good that I can't even be bothered by the way we were getting different answers from different people. It all worked out, and everything was delicious!
Compared to the many other cupcakes I have tried in my life, SugarJones' are on a level of their own. They're always the perfect consistency, not too dry, not too moist, and the buttercream frosting is tall but it's light and fluffy and doesn't feel like any frosting I've had before. And the flavors! They have such a selection. We had Chocolate Toffee, Peach Melba, Butterfinger, Strawberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Salted Caramel, and something else I can't even remember because it was gone before I made it to the cupcake table. They can do pretty much all their 200ish flavors in gluten free, too. I have never been this excited about bakery before in my life. The cupcakes are that good.
They do cakes as well, and while I assume they're tasty, I had no interest in designing a wedding cake and I really just wanted really excellent dessert at my wedding. If you're still deciding between cupcakes and cake, I'd like to point out that cupcakes from SugarJones are both way tastier and way cheaper than most wedding cake options you can find. -
User1478335 Sent on 12/20/2013Cupcakes and cake tasted wonderful. They were not dry or too sweet which we had concerns about. We did feel that it was a bit too much money for what we got. We also felt that our event was not handled the way it should have been. Owner took too long to get back to us when we tried to contact her. We went in to finalize everything and the staff had no idea why we were there after telling the owner we would be in on a certain date and a certain time to finalize everything (thought we were there for a tasting when we had one months prior). Extra fees that were not told to us were applied. Originally was told one time for delivery and it was changed twice. Design on cupcakes was not the way we wanted. Price you have to pay when the owner was opening a new store and did not really keep track of what was going on with us. I would recommend for taste but not quantity for price nor professionalism.
