Beyond happy with our choice to do our destination wedding at Sandos Caracol. Our wedding coordinator, Carlos, did SUCH an amazing job from the time we got in contact. Carlos was responsive to all emails and questions to plan the perfect day. Carlos met with us leading up to the wedding date and went over everything we had decided on and gave us a tour to make our vision happen. We decided to do our wedding ceremony at the cenote which was absolutely gorgeous and our reception at the rooftop terrace which allows lots of space for dancing, speeches and all the fun! Our food was delicious and portions were big. The entire wedding team made our day feel so extremely special and everything was perfect and stress free. I can’t thank them enough for making this day everything we dreamt of! 100% recommend this to anyone looking at doing a destination wedding! Loved it! -

My husband and I got married during hurricane season & expected the day of our ceremony to be an absolute mess. Our wedding planner, Carlos, was a complete angel the entire way through. He helped remind us of details we needed to select, provided an even better backup option than we originally planned on, and made sure our day was completely seamless. We could not have asked for a better experience. It was pouring rain nearly our entire trip & the staff ensured we had an unforgettable time. We are so incredibly grateful not only to Carlos, but to the entire Sandos staff. All of the staff working there are so joyful, kind, and helpful. Thank you so much! -

They really helped alleviate the stress of the day, put us at ease, and helped us to be present and enjoy the day. They also accommodated a change in one of our venues just the day before. Our wedding at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort was more amazing than we expected. We had our ceremony at the Cenote and our cocktail hour + reception at the Rooftop Terrace. The scenery was absolutely beautiful at both locations. We are so thankful to our wedding coordinator, Carlos Marroquín, for his attention to detail and attentiveness throughout the process and especially on the day of the wedding. His quick responses to emails and messages & thoroughness, truly made a huge impact on the smoothness of the wedding. All 71 of our guests had a blast at our wedding and everyone thought it was the most beautiful and dreamiest wedding they have been to. We wouldn’t change a thing from that day and we are extremely happy with the choice we made in getting married here. We also used Romanza for photography and the photographer did an Amazing job and we got some really beautiful pictures. -

Our wedding at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort was truly a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and attention to detail. Victor was our assigned wedding coordinator and he went above and beyond to make us feel special, accommodating every request we had with a smile. The natural beauty of the resort provided a stunning backdrop for our special day, making every moment feel magical.
We took a large group of 70 people to the resort for a week. Our rooms were clean and cold, we were able to make restaurant reservations (in groups of 6) with no problems, and we loved the Tortuga pool! The entire resort was a jungle and we loved the wildlife. Our party was a mixture of kids and adults and everyone had a great time.
Our communication with Victor was frequent and direct leading up to the wedding day. The entire team at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort handled our group requests professionally and swiftly, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Their ability to adapt and problem-solve on the spot was truly commendable. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here!
Overall, we are beyond grateful for the unforgettable experience we had at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a magical and stress-free wedding experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day absolutely perfect. -

We had the pleasure of getting married at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort in March 2024. When I tell you that the day was perfect, I mean it! There was nothing we would have changed and we were so fortunate to have the incredible Victor as our wedding coordinator. We chose a destination wedding as we love to travel, wanted a relatively easy wedding planning process, and preferred to stay within a smaller budget.
Victor was phenomenal to work with, the best of the best! Extremely professional, responsive, and paid attention to all of the details. Even with some last minute guest cancellations, small changes to the day, and some challenges with the resort upon check-in, Victor made our wedding planning process and our time at the resort so easy and the wedding day itself just flowed magically and seamlessly.
We had about 40 guests in attendance and they all had an incredible time! The ceremony at the beach gazebo was absolutely stunning and provided great coverage from the hot sun. The Mariachi Band during our cocktail hour was a crowd-favorite, our MC for the reception brought great energy and humor, and the DJ was SO GOOD, our friends were convinced we gave him a specific playlist (we did not, just gave him some genres we liked). The food and drinks were also excellent! We opted for the Caribbean buffet and many of our guests said that it was the best meal they had at the resort.
If you are looking to have a one-of-a-kind wedding experience at a place that offers something for everyone without breaking the bank, look no further than Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. And remember to ask for Victor! He will make your day even better than you can imagine. -

Sandos Caracol Eco Resort was very professional and communication from the beginning was great! Once we got to the location and meet with our wonderful event planner Victor we felt like we were in good hands. He was very detailed and accommodating. We brought our own favors and certain decorations and they were able to handle everything for us. It was stress free and went smoothly. We are still on cloud 9.
The resort in itself was great for our guest. We had guest from all parts of the states and ages and everyone had a wonderful time. There was something to do for everyone. The experience helped make the families grow closer. -

Armando and his team that took care of our wedding was amazing! Our violinist had an accident on their way to the wedding, and they were able to get a replacement with no issues! The wedding on the beach was amazing, such a beautiful background, then we went to the rooftop which was private and perfect for what we were looking for! From communication prior to our arrival to attention to even the smallest detail, Victor ensured everything for our big day was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Victor. He was so genuine and kind throughout the entire planning process he truly began to feel like a close friend. His response time was almost immediate, he went above and beyond for us in so many ways, and ensured the day was seamless. If you are on the fence about doing a destination wedding, consider this the push you need! Victor and the entire wedding team at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort made the wedding of our dreams come to life. From planning to execution, the process was easy, straight forward, and most importantly, stress free. We cant recommend this team enough. Victor took so much care and attention when setting up our beach ceremony, creating the centerpieces for our reception, picking me up from my makeup appointment and dropping me off at my room, and making the most beautiful towel display of swans with rose petals in our room to come back to.
The resort is absolutely stunning, with so many options for your ceremony and reception. We chose to have a beach ceremony, and our reception was on the rooftop terrace, and both were picture perfect.
We can’t say enough amazing things about Victor. He really cares about making your wedding day the most special day, and will do everything to make your vision come to life.
You won’t regret trusting this team with your most important day, we certainly don’t ❤️ -

If you have any hesitations booking a destination wedding here, don't hesitate and just do!! We had an absolutely amazing time with our 50 guests and our coordinator, Yenifer, worked hard to help us achieve our dream wedding!! It rained the day of the ceremony but she was still so accommodating in helping out with the timing of the ceremony so that we could still have it at the beach gazebo. Everything is even more beautiful in person than in pictures and all of our guests mentioned how magical it was, even with the rain. Our reception was a whirlwind of fun and activities and Yenifer was very flexible with us to accommodate for including our own decorations and the last minute events we wanted. The food and DJ were also amazing. Everything was as perfect as it could've been given the circumstances with weather and staying at the resort made it feel like one big party leading up to the wedding day! -

Let me start off by saying a BIG thank you to Frida. She was my wedding coordinator and because of her I received so many compliments on my wedding. “Best wedding we have ever been to.” Frida and her team knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I did not stress out one bit. Even when it rained she figured the whole day out and I just sat back and relaxed. The food was so good. We had ribs. I loved that they accommodated my family members who had allergies. The cake was so good. We also got the open bar which was amazing. Thank you so much Sandos and the wedding team. (Also shoutout to the gentleman in the wedding team at Sandos that brought out an umbrella from the golf cart and made sure NOBODY saw me in my wedding dress til I walked down the aisle. He was very nice) -

I am a very busy entrepreneur, who was marrying an equally busy entrepreneur, I had little time or mental space for wedding planning! Thankfully, Sandos Caracol and Estephanye had it so well organized, that I did not have to worry about the details, and I could just enjoy every minute of my day - which we did! I mostly picked from the options provided, with the exception of the flowers, I just send them some pictures of things I liked, and left it to them. I was blown away by them, they were next level gorgeous!
Estephanye was our wedding planner, and she went above and beyond repeatedly. REPEATEDLY. From the moment we arrived, until after the wedding. I became sick the day after the wedding (not the resort's fault) and Estephanye helped get me to a doctor, helped make arrangements with the front desk so we could stay longer, and even worked to keep us in the same room, so that I would not have to move sick. AND she did it all with a kind smile. I cannot say enough for Estephanye. (As a business owner, I would hire her is moment!)
Also a shout out to the lovely ladies at the Spa - they did a practice run for us, just before the rehearsal dinner, and then came to our room to do our hair and make up the day of the wedding. They did not just do a great job, they enhanced the time we spent together. They were funny and kind, and again, we all felt they went above and beyond. Thank you Margo and ladies!
I would absolutely get married there again. We were married on the beach, under the dome thing, with a cocktail hour and reception on the roof. It was all perfect. It was a day full of love and laughter - and I was able to just fully take it in, and enjoy it, because Estephanye looked after the details. We did not use any outside vendors. As soon as I think of Sandos Caracol, I immediately smile! So many wonderful memories.
My advice is to let go of the little details - that is not what people remember. They remember if you look happy, if you look in love, and if you are enjoying the day. So, entrust the details to Estephanye, and just soak in your day.
Thank you again Estephanye and Sandos Caracol! We will be back! -

Wow! We were blessed with our wedding coordinator, Estephanye López. She went above and beyond. I was incredibly worried that something would go wrong, but no. She was amazing to us and I would recommend over and over and over again.
Sandos Caracol Eco Resort was one of the greatest experiences in my life. The resort was so clean and everyone was always so nice and helpful. -

We chose Sandos Caracol for our wedding because we have small children and several small children in our friend group. The waterpark was amazing for them and the resort grounds are beautiful. We got married at the cenote, which felt like a unique location for a destination wedding. Our onsite wedding coordinator, Estephanye, was responsive to our emails, and spoke very good english. I was a little nervous about getting my hair and makeup done on resort, so I did a trial, and I was very happy with it. I showed some pictures of what I was looking for, and the ladies at the salon did a beautiful job. We chose to go with a photographer outside the resort, and we were very happy with him (Dean Sanderson). There are many beautiful locations around the resort to have wedding photos taken. Sandos Caracol provided what we were hoping for in a destination wedding - ease with a checklist you complete within a few months of your wedding to select chairs, flowers, meals, etc. We got the eco Family suite to have a bedroom and we thought it was quite nice and spacious for our family of four. We would recommend Sandos Caracol, especially if you have kids (the wedding is just one day of your week long holiday). -

I had the wedding of my dreams at Sandos Caracol. Estephanye was our assigned coordinator and she went above and beyond to provide an amazing experience. The ceremony was at the beach gazebo, which was just magical, with a violinist. The cocktail hour was on the beach and we added the Mexican Trio! Our reception was at the rooftop terrace, with breathtaking views and so much fun! We had 65 guests travel for our wedding and I am so happy we chose Sandos Caracol. They do not stop raving that this was the best wedding they’ve been to! -

Planning a wedding from afar and having to look at pictures all while trusting that your vision would come to life via communications thru emails and texts was worrying. You don't have the opportunity to taste test or physically touch and see what you are selecting. I was so worried that the wedding venue, decorations and food wouldn't meet my expectations but boy was I wrong. The flowers were beautiful, the venue looked romantic and the beef was tender. I chose the vanilla naked cake with a passion fruit filling. A refreshing choice considering the wedding was in late August. Diana was amazing! The wedding went on without a fluke but I was most appreciative for the help with setting reservations for us at the resort restaurants. I honestly didn't worry about the wedding once I saw the venue in person and was able to really picture everything coming together. Diana was attentive, flexible, accommodating. Just overall wonderful to work with. If in doubt on whether to have your wedding here or not, do it! If I had to do it again, I would. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Service at the wedding was first class. Overall, five stars. We were truly happy with everything. Can't complain. One month later and our guests are still telling us how beautiful the wedding was and what a great time everyone had. -
