Incredible fairy tale wedding!
The grounds are absolutely stunning, very lush and green. Victor our coordinator and his team far exceeded our expectations. We had bubble wands, one broke in transit...they took it apart and fixed it! I cannot say enough how incredible the experience was. Highly recommend. -

Once you arrive at the resort they take care of you to the minor details. You never feel alone, lost or confused about your event.
Email any questions you have, complete all of the forms they send you, be organized and send any ideas you want to put in place. Once you arrive, the organization is amazing, they take care of everything even the minor details. The staff is 10/10. Carlos Marroquin, the manager simply amazing and is always available. Our coordinator Victor Petit, during our event he was making sure our daughter and our guest had everything. Our MC, Oscar Madrigal kept the party going and everyone was having fun. The DJ, DJ_cejo mixed and played our music just great! The spa, Margot, she was diligent to minor details of my daughter’s hair and makeup, she did a natural fresh look. -

Late January Wedding
We chose this resort, after viewing a few others, for the wedding venues, the animals and the amount of activities you can do on the resort without having to leave the resort, as some of our guests had mobility issues or had never travelled before. We had 2 weddings within a couple days of each others (our wedding and my cousin got married as well a few days later at the same resort).
The wedding venues are amazing. Our wedding venue choice was the Cenote for the Ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour and reception on the Terrace (above RE). The Cenote is beautiful and creates a wonderful background for photos. It feels very private, despite being right near the lobby. I had no idea other guests were watching until afterwards when people congratulated us or commented when they saw me on the resort throughout the week. The Terrace is very private and a wonderful location for a Reception and/or Cocktail hour.
Note: My cousin opted to get married on the beach in the little huts. It was also beautiful and amazing with the beach in the background.
Our Wedding CoOrdinator, Armando, was amazing. He promptly answered any questions or concerns I had and was available the entire time we were on the resort if we needed - even after our wedding was over.

Sandos Caracol Eco Resort was very professional and communication from the beginning was great! Once we got to the location and meet with our wonderful event planner Victor we felt like we were in good hands. He was very detailed and accommodating. We brought our own favors and certain decorations and they were able to handle everything for us. It was stress free and went smoothly. We are still on cloud 9.
The resort in itself was great for our guest. We had guest from all parts of the states and ages and everyone had a wonderful time. There was something to do for everyone. The experience helped make the families grow closer. -

Exceeded our expectations
Everything turned out better than we ever imagined, from the locations to the decor. The planning process was easy and stress free, Armando was so helpful and pleasant and made sure everything went exactly how we wanted. We highly recommend Sandos Caracol for your destination wedding. We had our ceremony at the beach gazebo and reception on the Mapache deck. We also used the resort photographer Romanza and they did an amazing job. Rest assured the wedding coordinator has it all handled. Thank you Armando for making our dream wedding a reality. -

Armando and his team that took care of our wedding was amazing! Our violinist had an accident on their way to the wedding, and they were able to get a replacement with no issues! The wedding on the beach was amazing, such a beautiful background, then we went to the rooftop which was private and perfect for what we were looking for! Thank you again Armando for your attention to detail on everything! You and your team made our day one we won’t forget! -

Great wedding!
Victor and the team at Sandos made our wedding a perfect success.
When thinking about choosing a venue, we landed on a destination location that was easily accessible from several major US cities, as well as one that would handle the majority of details and eliminate the headaches that can come from sourcing multiple vendors, etc.
Our experience with Sandos met both of those perfectly. Victor was an amazing and passionate wedding coordinator- very detail oriented and organized, responding to countless emails with questions, and providing recommendations and imaginative ideas along the way. He helped us coordinate both the wedding day as well as a welcome party ahead of time. You can tell he loves what he does and has contagious excitement and energy that elevates the days even more.
We were able to walk through the experience a couple of days before, and rearranged the welcome party due to storms. He helped guide us through our welcome party, keeping us mindful of time based on what we’d discussed we wanted to do.
The wedding day was perfect.
My bridal party had our hair/makeup done by the spa in my room- while not inexpensive, everyone was thrilled with their looks and the ladies were great to chat with.
All else was arranged for us- dress/suit/ flower delivery was seamless, and the setup at both the gazebo and rooftop terrace were perfect. We were picked up from our rooms, guided to the right places at the right time, and seamlessly moved through the night like a dream. The food and drinks were good (and accommodated several food allergies in our group).
We cannot thank Victor and team enough for the experience — you are in great hands with them!! Although the process felt slow at the beginning as we were anxious to get started and we didn’t start getting into any details until about 10 weeks out, they coordinated the day of our dreams.

What Dreams Are Made Of! Best wedding ever!
My husband and I cannot say enough great things about our wedding at Sandos! It was truly a dream come true! Armando was our wedding coordinator and he made our every wish a reality! He was responsive and professional at every turn! If you are in Armando’s hands you do not need to worry! The ceremony, the food, the service and the reception were incredible! Special mention for the cake, it was STUNNING and so delicious! The flowers were beyond gorgeous! Best decision we ever made was having our wedding here! I am beyond thankful for the whole Sandos team! They went above and beyond! -

From communication prior to our arrival to attention to even the smallest detail, Victor ensured everything for our big day was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Victor. He was so genuine and kind throughout the entire planning process he truly began to feel like a close friend. His response time was almost immediate, he went above and beyond for us in so many ways, and ensured the day was seamless. If you are planning on getting married at Sandos Eco Caracol resort I would highly suggest requesting Victor, he will do everything in his power to make your special day absolutely spectacular. We planned a welcome party, a rehearsal dinner, and the wedding day with his help. All 3 events were perfect. -

We had the pleasure of getting married at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort in March 2024. When I tell you that the day was perfect, I mean it! There was nothing we would have changed and we were so fortunate to have the incredible Victor as our wedding coordinator. We chose a destination wedding as we love to travel, wanted a relatively easy wedding planning process, and preferred to stay within a smaller budget.
Victor was phenomenal to work with, the best of the best! Extremely professional, responsive, and paid attention to all of the details. Even with some last minute guest cancellations, small changes to the day, and some challenges with the resort upon check-in, Victor made our wedding planning process and our time at the resort so easy and the wedding day itself just flowed magically and seamlessly.
We had about 40 guests in attendance and they all had an incredible time! The ceremony at the beach gazebo was absolutely stunning and provided great coverage from the hot sun. The Mariachi Band during our cocktail hour was a crowd-favorite, our MC for the reception brought great energy and humor, and the DJ was SO GOOD, our friends were convinced we gave him a specific playlist (we did not, just gave him some genres we liked). The food and drinks were also excellent! We opted for the Caribbean buffet and many of our guests said that it was the best meal they had at the resort.
If you are looking to have a one-of-a-kind wedding experience at a place that offers something for everyone without breaking the bank, look no further than Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. And remember to ask for Victor! He will make your day even better than you can imagine. -

If you are on the fence about doing a destination wedding, consider this the push you need! Victor and the entire wedding team at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort made the wedding of our dreams come to life. From planning to execution, the process was easy, straight forward, and most importantly, stress free. We cant recommend this team enough. Victor took so much care and attention when setting up our beach ceremony, creating the centerpieces for our reception, picking me up from my makeup appointment and dropping me off at my room, and making the most beautiful towel display of swans with rose petals in our room to come back to.
The resort is absolutely stunning, with so many options for your ceremony and reception. We chose to have a beach ceremony, and our reception was on the rooftop terrace, and both were picture perfect.
We can’t say enough amazing things about Victor. He really cares about making your wedding day the most special day, and will do everything to make your vision come to life.
You won’t regret trusting this team with your most important day, we certainly don’t ❤️ -

Armando was the best
Armando was extremely helpful and detailed! He went above and beyond to reassure that our whole experience went smooth and that our needs/wants were met as soon as possible. We had a vision for our wedding, and he took that & made it 1000 times better. He added such cute details to our welcome dinner and wedding, & made sure we were stress free. Thanks to Armando, our wedding was the most amazing day/night of our lives. All of our guests were so impressed with the welcome dinner/wedding day, that they still talk about how much fun they had til this day. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. I am forever grateful for Armando & the team at Sandos Caracol for making our dreams into reality. I would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding there, and definitely ask for Armando! Magical Beach Wedding!
Yenifer and her team made my wedding dreams come true at Sandos Caracol! Leading up to the wedding Yenifer was extremely helpful and responsive to help me plan from afar, and answered my many questions in detail. I felt confident and ready for the wedding before we even got there. Once at the resort we had a meeting and went over everything in length, and got to see the venue for the first time. The resort is beautiful, and my guests enjoyed the large variety of activities without having to go off site. The wedding day went better than I ever could have imagined, Yenifer put so much thought and effort into executing my vision! My husband and I had our first look at the cenote to take photos and exchange letters in private. Our ceremony and cocktail hour was at the beach gazebo, which was stunning and we loved getting married right in front of the water. We had our reception on the beach as well, with a wooden dance floor to keep the natural feel we were going for. Everything was perfect, from the florals, to the table setup, to the delicious food and cake. I cant recommend Sandos Caracol enough if you are looking for a unique venue with both jungle and beach vibes, truly an unforgettable day! -

We had the pleasure of working with Yenifer from Sandos Caracol Eco Resort for our wedding in October of 2023, and I can’t sing her praises enough. From the moment we started planning, she was like a guiding light, always there to answer our questions and offer advice. Her communication skills were impeccable, making us feel at ease every step of the way.
