Hotel B Unique Cozumel

Where do I start? Hotel B/B Unique far exceeded my expectations when it came to our "wedding" celebration! I put wedding in quotations because there was no ceremony (we did that privately), just a reception style celebration for our friends and family.
Gaby was our wedding planner and she was absolutely incredible. Not only did she curate the event perfectly to our tastes, she went above and beyond to make sure the rest of our trip was perfect. She coordinated bus transport for our group of 40+ to tour the island. Worked with the DJ to make sure the music matched our personal style. (Thank you so much Edgar!! You were amazing. The perfect blend of mainstream and house music - not easy to do!) Scheduled a hair and makeup artist for me. Curated the table decor and setup to match our taste. Ensured the food was exactly what we wanted. Even worked with the DJ to allow one of our guests who is also a DJ to get on the decks. I can't say enough about Gaby and how much she made this the perfect day for us.
The venue was absolutely beautiful. A sandy area, overlooking the Caribbean Sea during sunset. What more could you ask for?? The food far exceeded my expectations (considering this is technically a hotel). And the boutique nature of the hotel gave it such an intimate and unique vibe.
I will say that at first, the communication worried me a bit. I am from the U.S. and am used to straightforward pricing, communication, and contracts. This is a small, boutique hotel. There was a bit of a communication barrier, since my spanish is not great. As such, it worried me a bit that things would get lost in translation or that they would be able to pull off the party with the level of professionalism I hoped for. I had absolutely nothing to worry about.
If you are looking for a small, intimate, non-traditional, boho vibe venue- THIS IS IT.

There isn’t enough room in this text box to communicate how grateful we were to have had our wedding at Hotel B. We love the hotel to begin with (why we chose there) but I never knew how lucky we would be to have Gaby as our coordinator! She was incredibly responsive and helpful coordinating not only our cake (which was exceptional), the flowers, the DJ, etc but also our families.
my husband and I were trying to think of anything we wish we would’ve changed and there is nothing- our wedding was planned for the beach, the decor gaby and her team put together was spectacular, and then it turned to showers as soon as we sat down to have dinner— without a blink of an eye the ENTIRE hotel b staff got our guests to a covered place and moved the completely dining set up to the restaurant. Our guests were raving about how fast and efficient they were.

I would recommend this opportunity to get married at Hotel B to anyone and everyone

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at hotel b unique, and I don't know where to begin with how happy I am with everything. They are quick to respond, accommodating, organized, and so patient and easy to work with. The planner/coordinator, Gabriela Lopez, was a rockstar along with the rest of their team were so organized and thoughtful and really made the whole planning process a breeze. They handled everything the day of and made sure everything was perfect.

They went above and beyond with the florals, the food was absolutely delicious. I really felt like I had my dream wedding come true and I am so grateful.

Aside from the wedding being everything I had imagined and hoped for, the hotel stay was also really great. The hotel staff is very thoughtful and helpful, and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Water pressure and water temperature was also good! Breakfast is included, and the hotel menu overall has really great food and drinks.

I would highly recommend hotel b unique if you are looking to have an outdoor beach wedding in Cozumel, it is sea front, and close enough to centro, what more can you ask for.

The hotel itself is stunning and went above and beyond to host our pre-wedding dinner, cocktail hours, and reception seamlessly. From coordinating various vendors like the music, cake, and photographer to ensuring a beautiful religious ceremony at a chapel outside the hotel, Gaby's expertise shone throughout.

Overall, we highly recommend Hotel B Unique Cozumel, especially if you have the opportunity to work with Gaby López. The picturesque setting, combined with Gaby's professionalism and dedication, created a wedding day that we will always cherish.

We were by far the largest wedding B Unique had ever hosted when we decided upon them as a venue. Our friends & family filled both Hotel B & B Unique so had the whole place to ourselves. We got an incredibly reasonable roomblock rate & everyone had an INCREDIBLE time together being able to roam across both pools & the bar/restaurant. Gabriela did a great job of teeing up different vendors & responding to my really explicit design direction. (Tres Leches wedding cake, Bougainvillea altar piece, etc). The whole staff really stepped up when it poured rain in the early afternoon day of our wedding & they worked like a Nascar Pit Crew to keep seats dry, guests happy & get back out to the beach just in time to get the ceremony off just under the wire. It was truly perfect & we couldn't have done it without the whole B Unique team.
