We had the pleasure of working with Michelle for our wedding in May 2022. We were drawn to her more editorial, authentic style, and that shone through in our final wedding photos— which we loved. Her get to know you and booking process is super straight forward. Michelle is approachable, understanding, and kind— we never felt like we were pressured or rushed into making any decisions. We met up with her for an engagement shoot (and to get to know each other a bit more) and had a blast walking around the property she was living in at the time (a gorgeous barn/vineyard combo!). She made us feel relaxed, at ease, and not at all like we needed to pose, perform, or pay attention to anything but having fun and being with each other. Michelle coordinated her schedule directly with our coordinator, and she was perfectly available, on time, and communicative in the weeks before and on our wedding day. Michelle was absolutely seamless— she captured sweet, funny, and intimate moments without us feeling like we were torn from our event. We enjoyed the majority of our cocktail hour, and maybe stole away for 20 minutes for beautiful sunset shots right after dinner. Each photo had so much personality and life to it, and we are so thrilled with how our wedding day was depicted: as it was. On top of all of her photography work, the package we chose included a beautiful keepsake: a high quality, Italian-made album. It is absolutely stunning, and we look at it every day. Michelle assisted with layout and flow, and we couldn’t be happier.
Photos are such an intimate part of the wedding day experience, and if I were to do it all again, I would go with Michelle again, no question. -

Michelle is truly someone special. From the first meeting we had with her when we were evaluating vendors for our wedding, we expected what would be a 30 minute meeting at her house turned into a 2.5 hour conversation about life, love and everything in-between. That's when we knew we wanted Michelle to photograph our special day. It had seemed like we'd known each other for years and years felt a connection with Michelle that we didn't have with anyone else. And that is just who Michelle is -- she's kind beyond belief, funny, and most importantly makes you feel confident beyond your wildest dreams. She is your ultimate hype woman, and is there capturing all the moments when you think she's not around. During our wedding day, Michelle was a best friend, someone who was there to share in all the joys and emotions that the day brings -- from first looks with my husband and father-daughter first looks, where we all cried from emotions. Her photos and work speak for themselves as each picture tells a beautiful story and will live on for years and years to come. Her second shooter on the wedding day was terrific to work with too and I cannot recommend Michelle enough. She is someone incredibly special to us and we cannot wait to take more photos over the years with Michelle as our photographer. -

She operates in stealth mode - you don't really see her navigating the venue...then poof - stunning photographs! I can't recommend her highly enough!

Reynaldo Sent on 01/28/2007Once we saw the quality of Michelle's photography, we knew instantly that we wanted Michelle to take our wedding pictures. She was very professional and although her prices were a bit higher than we wanted to spend, we knew we wanted to have her. Her assistant was just as talented and the photos came out extremely great. People who didnt even attend the wedding felt as though they were there as well. -

We received our first batch of pictures and I am absolutely blown away by how amazing they are. Michelle did such a fantastic job capturing all of the moments I had hoped, as well as a few that I could not have dreamed of. Tammi Sent on 01/10/2016If you hire Michelle Walker, you're getting someone who is an expert in the trade (teaches at a photography school), has extensive experience shooting weddings and events, and is fun to work with.
She did our engagement and wedding photos, and during each session she made us feel calm and comfortable.
Michelle was amazing to work with on the day of our wedding. Having been to many weddings, and now having had our own, the photographer is not an area to skimp on. A year and a half later we are still floored with how well the pictures captured our special day!
We received all our pictures one month after our wedding. After we finalized the album design we got the album about two months later. All turned out great and we highly recommend her work.
