You of course want some beautifully posed photos with your fiancé, but most importantly you want to truly enjoy your wedding day, keeping it a celebration and not turning it into an endless photo shoot. You do want timeless family portraits (and someone who can easily wrangle people around when needed), you really want lot of authentic fun candid moments captured. You need someone who stays calm and focused in the chaos of a wedding. You are afraid you may feel awkward in photos and need someone with some good direction and can make it feel effortless and fun.
