Wedding Photography in Petaluma

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and or a better experience. Opal is an amazing person and her experience and love for her art can be seen through each photo. She was always available when we needed to meet and responded quickly to any questions we had. On the day of the wedding she made sure we followed our timeline and created a friendly space for everyone. I was given advise once by a family member. "if you are going to spend all this money make sure you spend a good portion on your photos and video." I'm very happy to have listened.

Kristy of Volatile Photography is truly the best photographer a person could ever dream of. Kristy exceeded every expectation I had. She quickly responded to every email I sent her. She was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had about the wedding day and I trusted all the feedback she gave me. She was flexible and understanding through the entire planning process. She took time to come to the wedding venue the night before at the rehearsal to get familiar with everybody in the wedding party and family members whom she would be shooting the following day. She scouted the best locations for pictures and made sure everything was set with the venue coordinator. She did all of this in such a natural and comfortable way that I was completely confident about the wedding day. The day of the wedding, she arrived early and was extremely helpful in keeping the time schedule we had planned. She managed all of my family and bridal party in such a professional and easy going way that not only were we able to get all the shots we wanted, but everyone enjoyed every moment of the process. Kristy is fun and makes everyone feel comfortable having their picture taken. During the ceremony and after, Kristy fit in so easily to every situation and never interrupted a single moment, although each important moment was captured. And then came the photographs. I will never be able to do justice in words the beauty of my wedding pictures. I have hundreds of stunning images that capture the love, emotion, fun, and beauty that was present at my wedding. There are so many candid pictures of the most meaningful moments of that day that I will be able to treasure forever. I am eternally grateful for Kristy and all of the photographs I have of my special day. She is simply the best there is.

John is truly delightful. He made us feel so comfortable and look our best. He really listened to our vision and we appreciated how thoughtful, subtle, and light he kept the experience. I could not recommend him more highly!

Claire was amazing! I wanted to do something different and I had the idea to do a boudoir photo shoot on the beach and when I called Claire to see if she could she had time to fit me in and we got to do it the following week. In the outdoor elements and hour time frame that we had, she got so many great pictures and kept the shoot up beat the whole time. We did out fit changes quiet a bit which was great to get different looks that I wanted! I found Claire on Google and I'm so glad that I did she was so friendly on the phone before I met her and greeted me with a hug the first time I met her! After the photo shoot she got the pictures done and ready for me to view really fast so I didn't have to wait in anticipation for long! I highly recommend Claire she does a great job!

Jude Mooney photographed our wedding for us and we wanted to thank her by putting up a review. Jude's photos are amazing (we loved her portfolio which is why we choose to work with her) and she is great at putting people at ease. My husband and I aren't great at posing for the camera and Jude really put us at ease, guiding us through locations and poses to make sure that we ended up with some beautiful shots. In addition to the formal photos Jude tool lots of lovely candid shots, which are a great way to capture your memories of the day.

Karla was a pleasure to work with. When I spoke on the phone with her, I knew she would understand what I was seeking as she was a mother herself. She wanted to take more unique photos for us but with our aging parents, we could not. However, she still provided great photos using the venues available to us around our neighborhood, even capturing us on our beloved Harley Davidson, that has taken us up and down the coast and eventually throughout the US. The pictures turned out great even with the harsh midday sun. We would definitely recommend her.

Gina expertly captures our day. She kept us on track and handled awkward family situations for us. She is the bride and groom’s advocate and makes you feel like a million bucks. Her photos are obviously amazing, capturing intimate moments and huge joy. You definitely want Gina, sign her up and you won’t have worry about another thing, photography-wise.

Owen is a true professional with years of experience. His calm and reassuring nature put us at ease while capturing our big day. He photographed our engagement pictures and wedding beautifully. The wedding party and family portraits were gorgeous. The candid photos, cake smashing, and portrait station photos were all favorites as well. Everyone loved the pictures. We highly recommend Owen Kahn.

Elizabeth was AMAZING!!!! She made our day so graceful and wonderful. She was so much fun to work with, full of energy. Her talent and eye for capturing the best pictures is impeccable. We have only seen the some of the back of the camera shots at this point, and all of them were breathtaking. Brides, you will not be disappointed! We loved her!!!!
