    Joy Masi Photography exceeded all expectations as our wedding photographer! Joy was a pleasure to talk to and work with from the day we met her, and the day of, couldn't have been more professional and excellent at what she does. She brought a second shooter with her, Gary, and he was also so personable and fantastic. Not only were both Joy and Gary so flexible and easy going, but they also kept us on task, gave us great direction, and kept it fun for all involved in the day. We are a bride and groom who don't love being in the spotlight, and they were great at capturing very candid shots, you barely notice them there on the dance floor/etc., but they also got some beautiful posed shots and made us both feel so comfortable throughout the day. We cannot praise them enough for their phenomenal work and just being such a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Joy to anyone looking for a photographer. Her work is gorgeous and very unique and artsy, and that is what we loved about her...not your average wedding photos, definitely takes them to the next level!

    Joy did our wedding at the Loft at Jacks Barns last month and we could not be happier! Joy is absolutely amazing at her job! She is such an amazing and calm person which makes you feel at ease on your wedding day. We received some sample photos quickly after the wedding and they are absolutely breath taking. I can not wait to get the rest of our photos! She has a way of making every photo looks super natural which was so important to me when selecting a photographer. I would highly recommend her for any photography services!

    Joy is absolutely incredible! She is so calm, and professional and truly cares about getting the best shots and cares about the bride and groom. Unfortunately it rained severely on our wedding day. My mood was ruined for the few days before and I was convinced we were going to be unable to get any good pictures around the venue we were getting married in, and the village surrounding - but boy did Joy deliver. She was patient and creative and walked around without a coat or umbrella - just to find creative spots for us. She honestly was incredible, and made my day so much better from the moment she walked in. I can't wait to get our pictures back to see the beauty that she captured! We did a quick engagement session with her a few months before the wedding, and I've never felt so comfortable shooting pictures because she truly captures magical moments! The turnaround time is a few more weeks than expected - but I would wait any amount of time for the beauty that she captures. For the reception, we requested no posed portraits and only candids - and although she kept checking in with us to make sure she wasn't missing anything additional, I hardly saw her for the entire night. She was taking pictures of everyone dancing all night, but made sure that she wasn't in the way or in the middle of the crowds. Also her second shooter was extremely professional and efficient. I loveJoy as a photographer and person, and I'd recommend her to anyone. Her strengths are definitely capturing special quiet moments between the bride and groom, and also with couple portraits, but she's really incredible with everything. Book her and you will not be disappointed!

    We hired Joy for our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and she did such a fantastic job! Not only is she the sweetest person, but her pictures are beautiful! I love her artistic vision. While we have not yet seen our wedding photos, our engagement pictures were absolutely beautiful and I have no doubt we'll be blown away by our wedding pictures.

    Hiring Joy as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. The pictures of our wedding were the most important thing to me (having a background in photography) and Joy surpassed my expectations. My favorite photos were the ones that she orchestrated herself... Her creativity knows no bounds. Our pictures are incredible quality, the farthest thing from generic, and totally timeless. Joy knows what she's doing, and she loves it... It comes through in all of her work. We had a great time working with her and felt like we had known her for years. Shes professional, reliable, and flexible. And the icing on the cake: we had all of our photos back in 2 months time. I recommend her to all brides, especially those looking for beautiful landscape and light.

    Joy is amazing! We used her for our engagement photos and also for our wedding this past weekend. She was so professional when putting up with our family! Our engagement photos came out perfect and I can't wait to see the ones from our wedding!

    Joy is a true gem and my husband and I were so very lucky to have worked with her. Her photos are stunning and exactly what we were looking for. I have only seen a few photo that she took at our wedding last week, but they are stunning. And I have no doubt that she exceeded our expectations.

    Many of my guests commented that they didn't even realize a person was there taking pictures... we all know the last thing anyone wants is someone obnoxiously taking photos the entire evening. She fits right in and her photos are so incredibly natural.

    Joy is professional and responsive and we are looking forward to needing her services in the future. : )

    Joy was amazing for both our engagement and wedding day! She communicated well and didn't make 'you' feel awkward when she took pictures. She is timely, flexible, and responsible. She was able to go beyond in achievement for what i had in mind for my wedding photos. i would recommend her to anyone who wants professional and budget friendly shoots! <3

    Joy is a wonderful person, and she captured our day beautifully! I would recommend her again and again. She was so friendly and worked so hard. It was a tough job because it was sweltering hot at our church and she was such a trooper smiling and laughing through it all. Wonderful!

    Joy Masi did an outstanding photo shoot of our wedding. She was kind, courteous and extremely professional and even made it fun in the process. All of our phone calls and emails were responded to in a timely manner. We highly recommend her for any occasion.

    Joy's organic style and artistic touch reminds me of something you'd find on a Wes Anderson film cover. She made our day of picutres a memory of a lifetime. Her pictures' always seem to have perfect symmetry, placement and a radical kind of creativity. She made us feel very comfortble and safe, knowing our pictures were in very good hands. We love Joy and would love to do pictures with her again sometime. Just so you know how awesome she is, when I got our engagement pictures back, I would set the laptop near my bed at night, put the pictures on a loop with music and look at them until I fell asleep, this went on for days. I am forever indebted to Joy for the time, love, and energy she put into making our pictures absolutely perfect.

    My husband and I had the privilege of having Joy capture our big day. She is the distinct reason our wedding went from memorable to magical. You need to only look at one photo to understand that investing in her talent will leave you with timeless, unique photos that are unmatched. If you are hunting around for a photographer, take this as a sign that you won't find better than her - I say this as a professional photographer myself. She goes above and beyond - for example - after her contracted shooting time had finished and we said our goodbye's to each other, I found her STILL shooting photos on the dance floor almost an hour later. Know that you will have to wait several months for your final product, and the wait is torture. But Joy is quick to provide you with a extensive preview album almost immediately. I can't stress enough that the experience she offers will leave you nothing short of blown away. We are so forever thankful for her time, talent, passion, and kindness.

    Joy was the only photographer we met with, because after meeting her, we felt really comfortable with the decision we had already 99.9% made to hire her. She does amazing work. Her style of editing is exactly what I envisioned for my wedding pictures. Candids and couple portraits are definitely her strong suit, but all of our pictures are great. We've been anxiously awaiting our wedding photos since our wedding day, and the three month wait for editing was well worth it. Joy is so friendly and outgoing, as was her second shooter that she brought on our wedding day. She and our videographer got along great, and worked together really well. Our friends and family loved her, as well as her second shooter. Unfortunately, we ran about 2 hours behind on our wedding day because of our hair/makeup artist not bringing the promised amount of people, and I was extremely, extremely stressed, but Joy did her best to get in all the shots we had asked her for, and worked hard to try to make up for the lost time. Aside from the time crunch (which was no fault of Joy's) causing less pictures than we had hoped for of our families and full wedding party, our pictures are perfect. We have so many favorite shots to choose from, and her candids from the reception are great! We are so glad that we chose Joy because given that she lost two hours to take photos in, we don't think any other photographer would have still given us so much to choose from. We are also both very uncomfortable being photographed and posing, and she made it a lot easier for us, as we felt really comfortable with her. We would hands down, definitely hire Joy again, having seen her maternity shoots, etc, and seeing that they're just as beautiful as her wedding shots, and we look forward to having a reason to!

    Joy did a great job shooting our wedding. It was very important to me that all details were captured, and she made a point to take pictures of many things. She was easy to work with, and I love her style. I've already recommended her to two other couples getting married. I love that she captured the most candid, special moments but also had some great posed photo-ops too. Thank, Joy!
