  Benny was wonderful to work with! Great personality - my family and friends enjoyed working with him as well. He's willing to do whatever he needs to get the pictures you want including running around outside in the middle of winter and staying late into the reception.

  I shopped around for photographers for MONTHS! My fiance and I choose Helio's because of his amazing online portfolio. We set up our engagement photos with him (included in our package) and we literally fell in love him-I thought my fiance was going to run away with him! :) He made us feel so comfortable as I am not to comfortable taking pictures. He brought us all over St. Paul and local parks and the new train depot-he knew so many amazing spots. All of our friends and families commented on how great our pics were-they weren't all "posed", alot of them were us of laughing and doing "crazy" things, they were so good! So for the wedding I gave Benny (the owner) free reign with photos, and by the end of the night I had people asking me who the photographer was because he was so good and funny. He is engaging and artistic and can make a simple pose amazing. I would recommend him to anyone for any occasion-you WILL NOT regret it.
  As for the cost-it was very reasonable. Benny worked with our budget and went above and beyond. The day of the wedding he was there at 10:00 to begin photos for hair/makeup and around 2:00 a second photographer came as well to work with him. Benny stayed until after 10:00 pm, well after the videographer had left. I told Benny at one point if he needed to go leave I understood, but he said he was having to much fun and getting great shots-and stayed. He was definitely one of our best choices for our wedding! :) Thank you Benny!!!

  I can't say enough about Benny and Steve at Helios Photography. They were so flexible and attenetive, they made sure no shot was missed. I am a bride who loves non-traditional photos, the candids with tru emotion are where it is at. Helios captures it every time.

  I absolutely loved them, they are at the low end of the spectrum when it comes to price, but high end when it comes to value and quality of service. Awesome!

His style and personality were exactly what we needed for our wedding. Part of our package was engagement photos. We didn't really want them but it was a great experience. We got to work with Benny and learn some more about him. It also helped put us at complete ease come wedding day because we knew what we were in for. His eye, ideas and shots were wonderful and we couldn't love the pictures more. Come wedding day we were really excited to see what was in store. True to his fashion he found a fun place for pictures that were amazing and unique to our wedding. He had our entire wedding party laughing and joking and it shows in the pictures how comfortable we all were and how much fun we were having. The ceremony pictures were great (i didn't know someone could move around like that and not be distracting) and he captured the essence of the reception. All of our friends and family loved having Benny there and we have gotten countless compliments on our photos.

  Benny is the photographer of Helios Photography, and he is the best! His friendly demeanor was instantly a hit with my family and wedding party - we all felt comfortable during our session on the wedding day. He was also very flexible and willing to work with us and meet our needs!
