  Excellent redesign of heirloom engagement ring

  Ethan Lord Jewelers and especially Lauren Z. did an absolutely amazing job helping me redesign and resize my heirloom engagement ring. We combined multiple elements from different rings including the original setting and they executed it flawlessly. I seriously could not be happier and could not recommend them enough!!

  Fantastic!

  My husband went to Ethan Lord after toying with the idea on online retailers for my engagement ring. Rhe anxiety about such a substantial purchase drove him to find a jeweler in the area instead and Ethan Lord immediately impressed with the quality of their website and selection on social media. He met with Eric and they worked together on custom creating my engagement ring. Eric was fantastic and communicated well during the process. He was able to give my husband scans and 3D models to help visualize the end result and the final product was absolutely stunning. As such we returned to Ethan Lord for our wedding bands! We again worked with Eric and he was so polite, funny, attentive, and knowledgeable and we left with exactly what we wanted. He was never pushy, gave his professional opinion and was non-judgmental. We are both so happy with the quality of our rings and the experience at Ethan Lord was remarkable and we're so happy with our choice to work with them! Thank you again :)

  We stopped into Ethan Lord when we started looking at engagement rings. We sat down with Dan Gerut and ended up buying my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. Dan is knowledgable, experienced, and attentive. I would recommend him to friends and family.

  Erika at Ethan Lord was AWESOME. She walked me and my fiance through the entire process of engagement ring buying, and gave us both a great introduction to diamonds. Then, after we kicked my fiance out, she helped me pick out a great diamond, gave me lots of advice along the way and responsive and helpful each step of the way without being pushy. The ring turned out perfect, and was even appraised at over 20% more than I paid for it. Definitely will be coming back for our wedding bands and for any future jewelry needs.

  We loved everything about Ethan Lord. My husband got my engagement ring with them and worked with Erika and loved everything about working with her. We also needed our wedding bands with 2 weeks notice and they got them to us with plenty of time and were extremely accommodating.

  My fiance and I decided to go ring shopping together because he wanted to make sure I loved the ring since I'll be wearing it for the rest of my life. He did all the research but had a hard time finding a jeweler. He wanted to make sure the jeweler was trustworthy and high quality. We read yelp reviews, talked to friends, and visited several jewelers before deciding on Ethan Lord. The first time we went to Ethan Lord, we didn't have an appointment. They greeted us warmly and told us to have a look around and someone would be with us in a couple minutes. We ended up working with Erika who is beyond amazing! My fiance and Erika discussed budget while I was out of earshot and then we started looking at settings. Rather than trying to sell us the most expensive setting, she explained all of our options and the pros/cons of each. Once I narrowed my setting choices, she brought out a few stones. My fiance later told me that Erika brought out stones towards the lower end of the range he gave her- again, rather than trying to sell the most expensive. Erika spent over an hour explaining the diamonds to us, having us look through the scope to really compare them, etc. We felt very comfortable and well-informed. After that, my fiance knew what I liked so he took it from there (there had to be some element of surprise, right?!). My fiance liked certain aspects of various stones, but Ethan Lord didn't have what he wanted so they ordered stones from NYC. Talk about service! Once my fiance decided on a stone, they went to work designing the ring. When they got the first image back, Erika had some concerns about the way the wedding band would set so she recommended some adjustments before making the mold and, ultimately, the ring. Brian said he never would have known so he was thrilled Erika was so honest with him. We both felt very comfortable with Ethan Lord and Erika and would recommend it to anyone! I love my ring and we will be returning for our wedding bands.

  My fiance and I worked together with Dallas to design an engagement ring. I had an exact vision of what I wanted...aquamarine oval stone with a vintage filigree setting. Dallas was so great to work with and the ring turned out better than I had hoped. One kink...the stone got a TINY bit loose, but we took it back and they fixed it right away and I haven't had a problem with it since. Would definitely recommend!

My husband had purchased my engagement ring from a big box online retailer, but Eric was still delighted to work with us and create the perfect wedding band. Eric was able to make a wedding band that fits my engagement ring PERFECTLY. The quality of the craftsmanship was evident from the first sight of my wedding band. It looks like it was made to be sold as a set with my engagement ring. From our initial consultation, to meeting to review the wax mold prior to casting the ring in platinum, to the final meeting to see the ring, every part of our experience with Ethan Lord was on point. My husband elected to go with a very simple but elegant white gold wedding ring. They had a wide selection of styles, sizes and materials to choose from for mens' rings. I highly recommend Ethan Lord for your custom made jewelry at a very good value.

  My fiance and I worked with Devin from ELJ. She is absolutely wonderful and would recommend working with her to anyone who is considering going with Ethan Lord. From our first meeting on, she was pleasant, respond quickly to my e-mails/questions, and most of all was not pushy. We bought my engagement ring and our bands from Devin. My fiance's wedding band did not fit (was extremely small) - she was flexable, ordered a new one and advised that he wear the new to before we got it engraved to make sure it fit and was comfortable day to day. Can not say enough good things about ELJ or Devin!

  Dallas was wonderful to work with. She was able to understand my vision and took multiple images and combined them into one cohesive and beautiful engagement ring. It is truly an unique piece and I feel so lucky to have something that was made especially for me. She also was able to incorporate diamonds from my mother's wedding ring, so she will always be with me. She is now working on a custom necklace to match my ring as well! I will recommend Ethan Lord to any friends who are looking for custom jewelry.

  We got my engagement ring and our wedding rings here. I wanted to design my own engagement ring (good thing my now husband is a smart cookie and knew this in advance) and Ethan Lorde was wonderful throughout the design process. We worked with Dallas and she's absolutely great. I wanted something fairly unique (emerald cut sapphire center stone with trapezoid cut much smaller side stones) and they pulled it off perfectly! They brought in stones for me to look at and even cut the trapezoid side stones to order to make sure they matched the center stone. It turned out beautifully. Dallas was super patient with us and had great suggestions for the design. It was pressure-free as well, which was not our experience at other jewelers (who basically looked at me like I had lost my mind when I explained that I did not want any diamonds in my engagement ring!) Our wedding bands were much easier to design but still turned out awesome. I've also gone back for another piece and I have nothing but great things to say about Ethan Lorde and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

My husand bought my engagement ring here, which Devin took careful time to work with him to get the right setting and the most GORGEOUS diamond (took him months to choose) and I'm so glad that they were patient with him :) We ended up going back here for our wedding bands (with the help of a yelp deal!) and they are wonderful! Devin actually created a custom ring for me that was not on display, since I wanted some type of platinum band with channel set diamonds, but modified it so that it was a "softer" channel setting. WE LOVED IT. I would HIGHLY recommend using Ethan Lord as your jeweler. I hope we will be able to work with them in the future!!

  My husband spent ages working on my engagement ring, which is quite unusual in its stones and setting, and I love it. But it's not from Ethan Lord--he got it from a great place in the Mallers Building. No complaints with the engagement ring. But for some reason, we couldn't quite get them to understand what we wanted for my wedding band. So I found Ethan Lord in the same building, and thought they were fantastic! I worked with Devin, and she was great. Highly responsive, laid out the options clearly, and once we had agreed on the idea, the process went really smoothly and the work was done quickly. More importantly, it looks unbelievably good! They matched it beautifully to the engagement ring, and it really looks like the set was made at the same time. Prices were also very reasonable -- we looked on line, and were amazed that an actual store could compete so well, and with a great level of service to boot. I could NOT be happier.

I worked with Devin, and she was great. Highly responsive, laid out the options clearly, and once we had agreed on the idea, the process went really smoothly and the work was done quickly. More importantly, it looks unbelievably good! They matched it beautifully to the engagement ring, and it really looks like the set was made at the same time. Prices were also very reasonable -- we looked on line, and were amazed that an actual store could compete so well, and with a great level of service to boot. I could NOT be happier.

  Ethan Lord was an overall great experience. It was the first place my fiancé and I walked into and we loved the whole process of designing our own ring and picking out our own diamond. They really made it to the exact specifications we wanted! However, less than a week after he proposed... a couple of the diamonds in the halo started turning yellow. I brought it back and they fixed it, but no girl wants to be without their engagement ring for a whole week just after getting it.

  My fiance bought my engagement ring from Ethan Lord, and truly enjoyed the experience. We went back after the proposal to get my ring sized, and I could immediately understand why - Dallas was SO easy to work with! She helped my fiance create a beautiful and unique engagement ring that I will forever cherish.
  
  We continued to work with Dallas when we ordered our wedding bands, and have already recommended her to a friend.
  
  The biggest perk: a relaxed environment. There was no "car salesman" experience, and we never once felt pressured. I stop by on occasion to get my rings cleaned for free, and it's always so great to see the staff.

  I feel that because we didn't purchase an engagement ring from Ethan Lord, we weren't top priority. To them it was only a wedding band, not a big deal. So I guess if you are buying an engagement ring, they will treat you much better, a wedding band apparently isn't a big enough purchase.
