Redbud Jewelry is a one-of-a-kind jewelry studio situated based in the heart of Chicago, IL, that helps you create your own wedding ring. They make their wedding bands using an ancient hand fabricating technique. Owner and goldsmith Janeane Karbassi has extensive experience and works collaboratively with couples to help them forge their wedding bands. Couples can work in any karat or color of gold and can add personal touches like engraving and stone setting. Janeane also offers a complete custom design service where you can design your rings together, and Janeane will fabricate them for you by hand.

Services Offered

Redbud Jewelry invites you to meet Janeane in person or via Zoom to discuss the exact specifications of the rings you want to create. You'll know exactly what your rings will look like before coming into the workshop. Once the design is finalized, you'll start to fabricate with Janeane. She has extensive teaching experience and will guide you through every step of the process. She’ll even have some snacks and a little bubbly to celebrate. The entire procedure takes about 4 hours, and most couples leave with finished rings. Janeane prides herself on really listening and getting to know each person who comes into the studio, from your initial meeting to the workshop itself.
