1 Review for Eric Lee

We were very disappointed in the service that Eric provided to us. Before we signed a contract with him, he seemed very professional and helpful; however, once we got into the detailed planning phase, he became very inflexible and disheveled.
First, he was unfamiliar with our venue, so we asked him to do an on-site visit a few weeks before the wedding. He said that was a waste of his time and would prefer to just receive a diagram of the venue, which we provided to him. Then, the week prior to the wedding, he called us numerous times because he was concerned about not knowing the layout of the venue. We offered to meet with him (again), but he still denied our request in spite of his own concerns. Naturally, this made us very anxious.
Second, during the wedding, he did not stick to our song list. He took requests and played his own choices rather than playing the songs we discussed. When our parents asked him to stick to the list, he said there "weren't enough songs on the list," which was clearly untrue, as there were several "Must Play" songs that never got played.
Third, his equipment malfunctioned during our speeches, so the first three speeches were done without a microphone.
Fourth, he brought his wife to our wedding and asked us to pay for her meal, which we did. However, we have no idea what value she added, as she just sat with him for the entire evening.
Lastly, his wife requested payment directly from me (the bride) at the end of the night even though we instructed Eric to seek payment from my mom. It was very unprofessional and frustrating at the time.
Overall, Eric was the biggest pain point of our wedding. He played decent music and got people out on the dance floor, but he didn't do it in a stress-free, professional way. He caused a lot of undue anxiety, and we wouldn't work with him again in the future.
