Disclaimer: we had to cancel our wedding and so I didn't actually get to use Bliss at our event. We did, however, go through all of the other steps, including phone calls, contract review, and a tasting, so I feel that I can firmly attest to Janet's and Bliss's excellence. For every step of the way, Janet was responsive and flexible, responding to our needs for both menu and pricing. She was helpful and kind, direct and prompt in her communication. We were embarrasingly late to our tasting, but Janet waited for us to get there and had our food waiting. And...the food.... It was a stand out among all of tastings we went to. Others were not even close. The quality was superb and the flavors excellent. It was sophisticated for sure, and elevated our traditional Puerto Rican menu in a way that kept the traditional elements and also made it a bit more exciting. And the prices were more than fair. Bliss Catering is top notch all the way! Our amazing wedding planner, Chezelle Rodriguez, recommended Bliss Catering to my fiance and I and everything, every step of the way was perfect. Janet and her team are the utmost professionals who go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Bliss Catering provided services for both our Welcome Party for our destination wedding on Vieques, PR and our Cocktail hour and Reception at our Wedding. They arrived on time, fully prepared and EVERYONE RAVED about how delicious everything was, from the passed hor d'oeuvres and specialty/custom cocktails at the welcome party to the amazing traditional Almond Cake with vanilla buttercream and custard filling at the reception. The servers on the team were fun, outgoing and such a pleasure; present but unobtrusive. We would not hesitate to recommend Bliss Catering, Janet and her team. In fact, we can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary cake. We needed an excuse to go back :) Note worthy is that they pulled this all off seamlessly despite the fact that they had to bring nearly everything from the main island of PR to the smaller sister island of Vieques, so I cannot state enough how AMAZING and PERFECT and SEAMLESS AND DELICIOUS everything truly was. We love you Janet!

What can I say about Bliss Catering...they are a dream to work with! Janet and her team are so professional. I absolutely loved the planning process and the evolution how a mixture of ideas came together for my wedding. Janet is so detailed oriented and methodical in her approach that she took all of the stress off of my shoulders. The food was amazing. My wedding guests area still talking about it. The decor was absolutely beautiful. Janet and Deli were able to carry out my vision out to perfection. I highly recommend Bliss!What can I say about Bliss Catering...they are a dream to work with! Janet was so wonderfully flexible that she met me during my makeup trial because I only had a few hours in San Juan (during a last minute trip 6 months before our wedding) just to get to know each other in person, answer questions, and get a conversation started about the menus. In that brief time I knew that she understood exactly what we were looking for and the high level of on-site service that was important to us. It was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that Janet has successfully executed large events (for thousands of guests) so my 90 person dinner was a piece of pineapple cake.
Not having conducted a tasting but trusting the reviews I read, I expected for the food to be good, but it was INCREDIBLE. Our guests raved about the meal and cleaned their plates completely. Bliss catered our wedding at the Hacienda Siesta Alegre a few weeks ago. The food was incredible! Everything from the cocktail drinks to the passed appetizers to the dinner and desserts. Let me pause here -- the dessert was INCREDIBLE. We had the trio of "minis" that were absolutely decadent! We worked closely with Janet to plan our wedding from San Diego. She was easy to get a hold of by email and phone call, and she was very flexible. A few weeks before our wedding, we requested a small wedding cake since we had trouble finding a bakery on such short notice -- Janet made it happen! We had a beautiful wedding cake that matched the pictures I sent her. We also had a few guests who told us last minute that they would need vegetarian options, Janet just snapped her fingers and put together a vegetarian friendly plate for those few guests! No extra charges, no problems. The wait staff at Bliss is also great. They were very attentive to our guests, cleared plates and offered drink refills during dinner. All in all, Bliss was a dream to work with from start to finish. We were introduced to Bliss Catering through our wedding planner Rosalina Torres for our wedding in Puerto Rico. To say that they exceeded expectations would be an understatement. When we first met the owner Janet, we knew we were in great hands! Janet from the very beginning was super awesome, professional, courteous, responsive, and took the time to answer all our questions (and we had so, so many!). She also answered our e-mails quickly which we loved! The food tasting was delicious, and we were worried that maybe when the wedding came, the food might taste different since it's being made for almost 100 guests, but believe it or not the food actually tasted even better than the food tasting. On the day of the wedding, she made sure to come by to chat with us and made sure that we had time to eat. She even took a selfie with me which I thought was fun. All week after our wedding we kept hearing from our guests how amazing the appetizers and entree were, and how the desserts were so tasty. A few guests even remarked that "it was the best food I've ever had at a wedding!" Thank you Janet and Bliss Catering for making our wedding so memorable! This is an embarrassingly late review, but I cannot say enough good things about working with Janet and Bliss Catering. We met with other caterers on our planning trip, and they were either difficult to work with or their food was not as impressive as Bliss'. She was incredibly accommodating about scheduling for the tasting and other last minute issues that came up while we were preparing for the wedding; this was incredibly helpful for planning a long-distance wedding. The pricing for the menu we chose was very fair for the amazing dinner that was served. There was more than enough food served (sometimes an issue at weddings, not the case with Bliss' servings), and it was on par with fine dining restaurants. Our friends and family raved about the quality of the food. Also nice is that they offered a variety of local cuisine. On top of all this, the service of the waitstaff couldn't have been better. Janet was absolutely amazing. She was easy to work with during the entire year and three months of planning and she made every one of my ideas come to fruition. She has excellent taste and created a wedding that surpassed my expectations. My guests were exteremely happy with the wedding experience, many have said it was the best wedding they've attended. My husband and I couldn't thank Janet and her assistant Deli more.Janet was absolutely amazing. We live in Texas, so booking vendors solely based on reviews/recommendations was a little intimidating. From the very beginning Janet was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Bliss catering!
