  Coastal Fall Wedding

  We had our wedding at Anchor Inn a few weeks ago and we’re still on cloud nine. Catering by Uptown owns the property and was great to work with from start to finish. We toured Anchor Inn and one of CBU’s other properties with Breanna and she patiently answered all our questions. Both properties were beautiful but after looking at a number of venues, my husband and I just knew Anchor Inn was the one. We loved the waterfront location and that it’s in a cove so you could see the tree lined shore on the other side. There’s a covered deck right next to the water that can be used for the ceremony. The reception hall is lined with windows so you can still enjoy the beautiful water views during the reception. And there’s a dock behind the hall that can be used for photos. After we selected Anchor Inn and booked our date, we were transferred over to Tracy. She oversaw our tasting and design meeting where we selected our menu and picked out the table linens. Based on the questionnaire we filled out, Tracy already pulled linen colors she thought might fit our vision, and we selected them in minutes. She was also quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the wedding. Sylvia was our day-of-supervisor and she was on top of everything. She brought appetizers and drinks down to the dock when we were taking photos, she coordinated getting all our personal items set up beautifully, she constantly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and she even sent us home with a container of my favorite appetizer, spanakopita! Anchor Inn is a cozy and beautiful setting on the water and we got so many compliments on the location and vibe. We took all of our photos there, including our first look, and they turned out amazing. I highly recommend CBU and Anchor Inn.

  Best venue ever!

  The views here are stunning and the service is impeccable. The food is amazing and it was so nice to that a day-of coordinator was provided. The staff here saw that everything went seamlessly and were so helpful. We had an incredible experience having our wedding here!

  AMAZING venue & team!

  Words cannot explain how grateful we are to have picked Anchor Inn & Catering by Uptown as our venue. From the start, Catering by Uptown ensured the whole process was smooth and effortless. We knew who to contact for questions, everything was answered in advance, pricing was upfront & accurate (no last minute additions!!), & the staff ensured we had no stress leading up to / the day of our wedding. The venue is stunning, we provided minimal decor with not a ton of explanation and the staff decorated it flawlessly and exceeded our expectations. All our guests had an AMAZING time, & zero complaints about the food! The food was delicious, super elegant, & service was amazing. Now, to one of the most influential parts of the day - Veronica was our day of coordinator provided by Catering by Uptown, and she greatly exceeded all our expectations. She was everything and more!! She guessed what we needed before we knew we needed it, ensured everything ran SO SMOOTH day of, made sure we had food and drinks the whole night, and was so accommodating to our needs. I had been told I would not be able to enter the venue until 3pm the day of the wedding, but Veronica called me the week of and told me she could let me in early. She was perfect at her job & we cannot thank her enough!!

  Excellent Venue for a Waterfront Experience

  We had such an amazing experience having our wedding at The Anchor Inn. Our outdoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and we loved being on the water while exchanging our vows. The staff did a wonderful job of making sure everyone at the event was having a good time and even brought us drinks and hors d’oeuvres while doing photos during cocktail hour. The food was phenomenal and several of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner. Our day of coordinator was so helpful in making sure the evening went according to plan. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate the start of our marriage!

  Outstanding Experience!!

  We are so happy we chose Anchor Inn for our wedding reception. The food, the setup, the service… everything was impeccable and made our day that much more special. Our coordinator Joseph went above and beyond and made sure everything was seemless and exactly how we had planned. It was truly a pleasure working with Anchor Inn and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with the best view in town.

  Amazing Venue With the Best Staff

  The venue is so beautiful! We got so many compliments from our guests. Ya-Maila was the BEST. We were so lucky to get her as our Account Manager/Planning Contact and our day of coordinator. My cousins birthday was on our wedding day and we were just planning on singing happy birthday to her. Ya-Maila found out from the DJ with 30 minutes notice and whipped out a full cake with candles for her. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Catering by Uptown provides almost everything you need which allowed us to limit our number of vendors and the number of things we had to buy just to use one time. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of!

  Great wedding venue!

  Anchor Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our contact person, Esther, was professional and always quick to answer questions leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, the staff were incredibly friendly and the catered food was amazing! We would definitely recommend Anchor Inn!

  We had a never nice time with Catering by Uptown

  As we got to the venue, everyone was very welcoming, the room was already set up by the time we got there. Everything looked so beautiful, the staff was very well on task and very helpful, and the food was great!! We were very happy at the end results of how it turned out.

  Great to have so much consolidated with one vendor!

  We got married at Anchor Inn in Pasadena. It is a BEAUTIFUL venue. Catering by Uptown was fantastic to work with from start to finish. With the pandemic, we knew we wanted to limit the total number of vendors we had to work with in the event we needed to postpone....which we did! It was soooo much less stress to have our venue, food, linens/place settings, part of our decor, uplighting, cake and so much more all tied together. The food and cake were both delicious!   Couldn’t have found a better venue!

  We held our wedding in fall 2019 at the Anchor Inn, a Catering By Uptown venue. From the start, CBU was incredibly responsive and flexible. We were able to plan the wedding of our dreams. Our guests loved the venue and food. They certainly delivered. As with most of wedding planning, there were some slight hiccups along the way, but CBU always made sure that things were corrected and on track for the “big day.” We are thankful we found the Anchor Inn!

  Beautiful Venue!

  My husband and I recently had our wedding here and it’s what we envisioned our wedding day to be. It was perfect for a wedding size of 85 people! Our guests loved not only the beautiful view that this venue showcased but the food and the service. Our coordinator, Brittany was wonderful!

  We just got married at the anchor inn and everything went perfect! Food was delicious, the views were amazing and our coordinators were awesome! We started off with Cassidy and she was very responsive and helped us with all the pre wedding set up. Marissa was our day of coordinator and we received multiple compliments about her!   Great Wedding

  I loved the venue the minute that we got there. Everything was smooth. Our planning coordinator leading up to the wedding (Cindy) was amazing! She was very responsive and answered all of my (sometimes crazy) questions about everything. Catering By Uptown was very flexible and worked with us every step of the way. Everyone raved about how amazing everything looked the night of the wedding. The food and cake were amazing as well. We do not have a bad thing to say about our experience at the Anchor Inn and Catering By Uptown.

Katelyn was my wedding planner and she deserves a huge shout out for everything she did for me. She kept my mind at ease and always made sure to take care of things for me! The food was fabulous and the wedding cake was even better. I could rave about this venue all day! I feel in love with the Anchor Inn the moment I first stepped foot on the parking lot, best day of my life.

  I can not say more great things about the anchor inn and catering by uptown! I had my dream wedding without breaking the bank. They made the planning so easy and I loved our day of coordinator Marissa! She made our day so beautiful. Food was awesome drinks were on point. This venue is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

  Catering by Uptown is by far the BEST way to go when planning a wedding. Everything is included and the service, cost, coordinators, and food could not have been better. Honestly, I kept waiting for "the catch" because everything seemed so perfect. But, having had my wedding about two weeks ago, I can say that there was no catch. It was absolutely wonderful. Everyone always asked me why I was never stressed during my wedding planning and it's because of Catering by Uptown. My coordinator Shonda was excellent and made everything I envisioned on my wedding day happen, with little to no stress to me. The Anchor Inn venue is beautiful (CBU has a few others as well). It was intimate-feeling, guests LOVED the view, and I just can't say enough good things about it. I 100% recommend Anchor Inn and Catering by Uptown to any bride planning their wedding.

  The Anchor Inn met all of our wedding needs, and was absolutely beautiful. My day of coordinator Eileen was EXCELLENT, she went out of her way to make our day everything we planned for it to be. I would highly recommend this venue!

  I just had my wedding at the Anchor Inn and it was perfect! It was honestly the wedding of my dreams and the venue was a huge part of it. The venue itself is simple, but beautiful because it's on the water and the building has windows all along the sides and back so you can see the water and docks. My day-of-coordinator, Stephanie, was awesome and so helpful the day of the wedding - she definitely made sure everything ran smoothly. All of my guests commented on how delicious the food was and how the staff was so nice. I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else and would highly recommend the Anchor Inn to anyone!!

  Our wedding day was so wonderful thanks to the Anchor Inn. Our day of coordinator Mary was fantastic, the food was amazing, & the view was beautiful! We had a dinner buffet and my husband and I were served plates at our own sweetheart table. The only negative from our day was that the heaters on the deck were broken (we had an outdoor ceremony in December!), but it was just an inconvenience - not the end of the world.
