We highly recommend Kim as a wedding photographer. From our first meeting during the engagement shoot, she created such a positive, easygoing experience and immediately put us at ease. She was also great with communication the whole time - before and during the wedding - so we always knew what to expect and never felt stressed. She gives clear direction for poses while still keeping everything natural, which made a big difference for us. The day before the wedding, she came to our rehearsal and shared helpful feedback with us and our wedding party that made the day run even more smoothly. On the wedding day, she was organized and calm, and handled everything seamlessly. She captured amazing shots from getting ready all the way through the dancing without anything ever feeling forced. When we got our final gallery, we were honestly blown away. We loved every single photo, and it felt like she captured the day exactly how it felt. We’d absolutely recommend Kim to anyone looking for a photographer.

Didi of Rustic Dreams Photography is an angel. I found Didi through one of the many wedding websites that spam your email inbox as soon as you google the word "wedding"- haha! However, Didi, and her company Rustic Dreams Photography caught my eye. Her prices were phenomenal compared to other vendors I had been looking at. When I visited her website and browsed her gallery I was able to immediately determine that her low prices were absolutely NOT due to a lack of quality, as her work was gorgeous and the information on her page made her seem fun and interesting. I wasted no time contacting her- and in all my haste I didn't even notice that she was based out of Washington. My wedding was set to be in the mountains of NC and I quickly prepared myself for her rejection email. But that was not the case! She was happy and excited to make the trip- at no extra cost to us! As we emailed back and forth I could see that she was a kindred spirit and an incredibly sweet and loving person who truly just follows her passion and was dedicated to serving us. Many people tried to worry us about the fact that she was not local, and her prices were clearly "too good to be true." And I am happy to say that she absolutely proved everyone wrong when she showed up on time, cheery and adorable, and proceeded to deliver everything and more she had promised. Her attitude was wonderful and upbeat, all of my bridal party and family loved her pieces and she even stayed later than she was supposed to in order to capture our family rock show toward the end of the night! I can't say enough about how lovely Didi is. We are very newly married, and have only received a few sneak peek pictures from her so far, but we are on the edge of chairs to see what incredible work she will yield!
