We worked with Bialek to arrange a band for our daughter's wedding at the Army Navy Club. They were great to work with. Lots of choices and we selected District Groove. We couldn't be happier, they were fantastic from start to finish. Wide range of music, infectious energy, great voices and dance moves that kept the party going right up until the end of the night. We highly recommend them.

We hired the Blue Dot Jazz Troupe for our December wedding. They were amazing! Andy was very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly. The band was able to set up easily at the venue and helped keep us on our timeline. We loved the set list that the band put together. It was a great mix of classics and new music. Their musicality and energy were top notch. We also got nothing but rave reviews from our friends and family! Our guests were on the dance floor for the whole night. We would definitely book them again for another event.

We got married back in May and people still comment on how awesome the band was. DC Transit Band is super talented and did a fantastic job - they sounded incredible and the dancefloor was always full! It was a super fun night and I really have the band to thank for that! Don't hesitate to book them!

Multiple people at our wedding said this was the best wedding band they've ever heard. They played the perfect type and amount of songs we requested, and filled in the gaps where we didn't, and the lead female singer had an AMAZING voice. Also appreciated the flexibility with the ceremony strings + 2 people who played at cocktail hour. Fabulous band!!!

Modern Luxe (which we signed through ECE --via Paula) was amazing from start to finish. They were super responsive to all emails and calls, flexible to accommodate our ideas, came to meetings when we asked them to be there, and most of all, helped us navigate an unforeseen issue with our hotel's power source on the big day. We hired a huge band with MLX and I guess our hotel venue's power was having issues; MLX navigated these issues so well that the groom and I had no idea at the time that anything was going on backstage. They handled it like true professionals; they are the type of vendor that you want to have on your side when things go awry on your big day (which, inevitably, most of the time WILL happen). They will go to bat for you to ensure that these things do not affect you or your big day -- MAJOR kudos to them for this. They were so much fun that my husband got on the stage twice to sing with them, which they just rolled with and made into a fun memory. Our friends and family all wanted their info after the wedding. They helped us coordinate a jazz guitarist and violinist for the cocktail hour (this duo absolutely rocked! loved their song selection), and allowed us to play a Spotify playlist through their system for an after-hours dance party even when they weren't under contract to keep performing. They genuinely just wanted to see us happy and to have a great night. Would absolutely choose them again, and you will not regret choosing them either! I saw this group at Marx Cafe and they were amazing! The crowd was so engaged and played very well. Will be going to their next performance.

The Rollex Band made my 60th Birthday celebration on Valentine's Day an absolute night to remember! From start to finish, they delivered an incredible performance that had everyone on their feet. Their versatility was outstanding — they seamlessly moved through a wide variety of musical genres, keeping the energy high all night long. The two female vocalists and male lead singer were phenomenal, each bringing their own unique presence and talent to the stage. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, which says everything you need to know. What really sets Rollex apart is the full experience — we went with the 9-piece band including the horn section, and it was absolutely worth it. The horns added a richness and energy that elevated every song. As a bonus, their traveling DJ was equally impressive, keeping the momentum going and complementing the live performance perfectly. Our guests are still raving about it! If you're considering booking the Rollex Band, do yourself a favor — get the full 9-piece experience with the horns. You won't regret it!

I could truly write for hours about how much I loved working with Son Cubano for our wedding. From start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation and brought our entire vision to life in a way that felt effortless, joyful, and unforgettable. We planned a fun, tropical deco–inspired celebration with nods to 1940s Miami glamour, hosted at the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC — a venue that already carries so much old-world elegance. Son Cubano was the perfect complement to that backdrop, elevating the evening with a sound and presence that felt transportive, stylish, and full of soul. Josh, the band leader, was an absolute dream to work with. From our very first conversation, he was open, thoughtful, and genuinely excited to help bring my (very specific!) vision to life. We collaborated closely on everything from the playlist to the band’s attire, and his flexibility and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. During the most hectic stretch of wedding planning, knowing the music was in such capable hands was an enormous relief. The night of the wedding was nothing short of magical. One of the guitarists played during cocktail hour, setting the tone beautifully, and the reveal of the ballroom — with the full band playing — was a true “pinch me” moment. In a time when so many wedding bands feel interchangeable, Son Cubano stood out immediately. Their old-school Latin jazz vibe was nostalgic, energetic, and incredibly cool. My biggest goal was simple: I wanted people dancing. And dancing they did. The dance floor was packed all night long — no lulls, no hesitation, just pure joy. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how unique the music felt. Son Cubano didn’t just play our wedding — they made it. They created an atmosphere that was warm, celebratory, and unforgettable, and I am so grateful we found them. Fantastic value, wonderful people, and truly exceptional music. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dwight and his team were the stars of the show and had our entire dance floor full the entire night! Completely incredible addition to the wedding- the night wouldn’t have been the same without them.

‘Round Midnight was amazing at our wedding!!!! They had the dance floor packed all night. They learned a custom first dance and entrance song for us and it worked perfectly. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to have a packed dance floor. We had 20+ people ask us the name of the band after our big day.
