Banquet Hall Wedding Venues in San Antonio

We researched many venues for my son and future daughter-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner beginning in November 2025 and by mid December, we happily landed on the Grand Promenade. The building itself has history, is very cool, in the area for the rehearsal dinner (125) as well as a welcome party (250) after the rehearsal dinner was absolutely perfect. Planning for the event over the months was seamless with Christa at The Grand Promenade. From liquor selections to food, to setting up the area the way we wanted it as well as suggestions to make it even better from Christa, only served to enhance the special occasion. The support staff during the actual five hour event, were fabulous, as well as very responsive, kind and flexible. The entire evening, from start to finish, was a huge success - thanks to The Grand Promenade Team! Oh,I forgot to mention, the cost for everything certainly “did not break the bank!”

We had the best day of our lives at Magnolia Halle!!! We looked at about 10 different wedding venues and Magnolia was by far the best one we had visited. Magnolia Halle was beautiful inside and out. With in-house catering, setup and linens included in the price, it was perfect for our big day! Also, it is located in an area with lots of hotels nearby, which was extremely helpful for our out of town family and friends. We had about 150 guests at our wedding, and everyone fit comfortably in the Halle. Our guests said that they thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the short ribs. Additionally, Kryssi, the venue coordinator was PHENOMENAL. We booked Magnolia Halle for our wedding venue over a year in advance, and Kryssi was very responsive to our messages and questions throughout the entirety of that time. We were able to visit multiple times before our wedding to envision how our decor would look, and we really appreciate all of the help and attentiveness that Kryssi provided. She is very kind and wonderful, which made our experience of planning our wedding at Magnolia Halle seamless and fun! About a week before our wedding in March 2025, they installed a new projector and A/V system that we were able to utilize and it was a game changer. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue without the drive out to the hill country, Magnolia Halle is THE place! It was truly the best day of our lives.

Moonlight Ballroom is a great venue to work with, they had great communication from beginning to end with all of our requests and planning questions. They took care of everything for us and made it stress free, their vendors are great to work with. Everyone enjoyed the party, the decor was beautiful, the food was delicious and the DJ was very fun, kept everyone dancing all night. We highly recommend going to Moonlight Ballroom if you're looking for a venue to have your event. Thank you for making our family celebration absolutely special.

Choosing The Skyline was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. During our first visit, we immediately knew it was the place where we wanted to say “I do.” The beautiful setting, warm atmosphere, and incredible team made us feel at home from the very beginning. Throughout the planning process, everyone was so helpful and made us feel confident that our big day was in the best hands. When we walked into the venue on our wedding day, it was even more beautiful than we imagined. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the space, the service, and how smoothly everything came together. The Skyline gave us the perfect backdrop for a day we will never forget. We are so grateful for the memories made there and would recommend it to any couple looking for a truly special wedding experience!

Took me so long to finally have this review posted....but it's finally here! I had Nidia as my consultant for the venue. Throughout the wedding planning process, she was professional & helpful when I had doubt in the planning. She helped w/ everything from the venue design to help change between from ceremony to reception. She was very positive all throughout. And a special shout out to Brian, the banquet manager of the night was responsive and professional of the night before and the night of the wedding event. I would love to have this venue again for future events.

My event was very good , the weather was nice. The parking good space . Thanks for everything .

I had my wedding here this past Saturday 6/17/23 and it was perfect! Everything turned out as planned. This venue is gorgeous and I got so many compliments! We had over 280 people and everyone loved it! The owner was wonderful, helpful, and very flexible. 10/10 I definitely recommend this venue. The food was also delicious! The venue was pretty much free range, we brought in all the decorations and I went crazy. It was the most perfect night!

We had our wedding reception at Hacienda Santa Maria and it was the perfect evening!! Gonzalo, Rebecca and the entire staff there were absolutely incredible! Rebecca was very responsive to all of our emails and phone calls. She went out of her way to communicate with us and with our wedding planner. From the beginning we had a number of special requests and they were accommodating and kind throughout the process. They went out of their way to help create a day that was so memorable for us, our families and all of our 175 guests. The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests all raved about their meals - we offered two options and both were fantastic. The service was excellent - they were responsive to any requests made and helped facilitate a wonderful evening. All of the staff were very friendly! The venue itself is very beautiful. It was the first (and only) venue my husband and I saw that was so filled with character and beauty. The tile floors, columns and chandeliers are all stunning and they looked incredible with all of the other decor that was used that night. We strongly recommend Hacienda Santa Maria for a wedding reception, party or any other special event - it is such a charming venue!

Kimberly was awesome! She helped make my daughter’s night a dream come true!
