We LOVED Ivy Hall. The event space is beautiful and the staff is responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Linda and Colleen answered all of our questions and made the day-of run flawlessly. The food & drink provided by the venue was delicious and made all of our guests so happy. Ivy Hall is simply the best!

We had our wedding at Ivy Hall in October. We got a great deal on the space for booking the year prior. Everyone commented on how beautiful the outdoor space was and how great the on-site catering was. Scott was a pleasure to work with in the planning phases as well.

Ivy Hall was the perfect space for our 100-guest wedding. We wanted a backyard wedding feel and the garden at Ivy Hall delivered. It really felt like we were in our own private oasis in busy, downtown San Antonio. Scott, Tim, and the rest of the team were responsive throughout the entire process and were rockstars on the wedding day. The food was amazing, the vibe incredible. So many guests came up to us and gushed about how cool the venue was. Book them now!

The space is stunning and intimate. It feels like you’ve been transported to a tropical garden somewhere away from Texas. The garden is really well maintained and makes for amazing natural decor.

They allowed us multiple visits to the site and a tasting of the dinner menu. We always felt taken care of and really appreciated Scott’s willingness to answer all our questions. If you’re looking for a venue that can do it all and will make everything from rentals to the bar run smoothly, this is your spot.

My partner and I hosted 160 people at Ivy Hall for our wedding on April 22, 2023. The team at Ivy Hall absolutely knocked it out of the park! At each step along the way – from planning more than a year out up to the day of the wedding – the staff was responsive, easy to get along with, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to deliver an amazing and unforgettable day.

From a planning perspective, we appreciated that Ivy Hall has the space to host all parts of the wedding - from the ceremony to the reception, dinner, and dancing. The gardens are immaculately manicured, but also provide distinct zones for different parts of the day. They have clearly put thought into creating this as an event space, because each area was well equipped with the technical components needed for audio, which was helpful for our live band and DJ. We also appreciated the elegant lighting that brought an atmospheric feel to the evening, from the uplighting along the garden walls, downlighting around the pathways, and string lighting overhead. It is a truly beautiful space, with excellent views of the Tower of Americas that give the venue a sense of place: distinctly San Antonio.

Another stand-out for us was the food and beverage service. The chef clearly knows her way around the kitchen and how to prepare for a crowd! They were flexible in helping us design the menu and were able to accommodate the different dietary needs of our guests. The chef and her team exuded creativity and thoughtfulness in the presentation and preparation of the menu items. From a logistical standpoint, they were also able to filter guests through the food and bar lines efficiently, ensuring that no one had to wait too long.

Other factors to consider:
• Plentiful parking for guests as Ace Mart parking lot is available across the street
• Located in the thriving Southtown neighborhood, centrally located to downtown San Antonio. Our guests were able to stay in the neighborhood and walk to the venue.
• Private space for the couple and family to prepare for the day in a furnished storage container building at the back of the lot.

If you are considering Ivy Hall as a venue choice, I can’t recommend them highly enough! Aside from being great people to work with, the venue is beautiful, well-equipped for events, and offers excellent food and drink service. 10/10 would choose them again!

Incredible Experience. Wow! We were blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of Ivy Hall right away but had no idea how amazing the rest of the experience would be. The food was absolutely delicious but even more of a pleasant surprise was how NICE and KIND and ACCOMMODATING the on-site staff were. Thank you!!!

Our evening at Ivy Hall was perfect! We wouldn’t change a thing. They made our dreams come true, from a Thai & Texan menu, to dreamy lighting and live jazz!

My daughter and son-in-law had a gorgeous wedding at Ivy Hall. Prior planning with Ashley was easy and fun; I knew we were in good hands. The evening couldn’t have been better. The garden looked absolutely beautiful, the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing were smooth, thanks to the most professional, responsive, friendly staff that I’ve ever encountered. So many guests commented about them. And the Tuscan-inspired menu was delicious! I wish we could do it all over again.
