  Amazing Venue and food

  Our wedding day at Ivy Hall was nothing short of a dream come true! The venue's stunning beauty and enchanting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. The team was incredibly helpful and attentive, making the entire planning process a breeze.
  
  As for the food - from the food tasting until the wedding day the team didn't let us down. Everything was delicious and stunning! Our guests also couldn't stop talking about it.
  
  Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue and catering service. The team's professionalism and attention to detail, combined with the delightful food, made our day one for the books. We wholeheartedly recommend Ivy Hall and Tim The Girl to any couple looking to create cherished memories on their wedding day. Thank you for making our celebration truly exceptional!

  Just incredible

  Incredible Experience. Wow! We were blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of Ivy Hall right away but had no idea how amazing the rest of the experience would be. The food was absolutely delicious but even more of a pleasant surprise was how NICE and KIND and ACCOMMODATING the on-site staff were. Thank you!!!

  Incredible Ivy Hall

  My partner and I hosted 160 people at Ivy Hall for our wedding on April 22, 2023. The team at Ivy Hall absolutely knocked it out of the park! At each step along the way – from planning more than a year out up to the day of the wedding – the staff was responsive, easy to get along with, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to deliver an amazing and unforgettable day.
  
  From a planning perspective, we appreciated that Ivy Hall has the space to host all parts of the wedding - from the ceremony to the reception, dinner, and dancing. The gardens are immaculately manicured, but also provide distinct zones for different parts of the day. They have clearly put thought into creating this as an event space, because each area was well equipped with the technical components needed for audio, which was helpful for our live band and DJ. We also appreciated the elegant lighting that brought an atmospheric feel to the evening, from the uplighting along the garden walls, downlighting around the pathways, and string lighting overhead. It is a truly beautiful space, with excellent views of the Tower of Americas that give the venue a sense of place: distinctly San Antonio.
  
  Another stand-out for us was the food and beverage service. The chef clearly knows her way around the kitchen and how to prepare for a crowd! They were flexible in helping us design the menu and were able to accommodate the different dietary needs of our guests. The chef and her team exuded creativity and thoughtfulness in the presentation and preparation of the menu items. From a logistical standpoint, they were also able to filter guests through the food and bar lines efficiently, ensuring that no one had to wait too long.
  
  Other factors to consider:
  • Plentiful parking for guests as Ace Mart parking lot is available across the street
  • Located in the thriving Southtown neighborhood, centrally located to downtown San Antonio. Our guests were able to stay in the neighborhood and walk to the venue.
  • Private space for the couple and family to prepare for the day in a furnished storage container building at the back of the lot.
  
  If you are considering Ivy Hall as a venue choice, I can’t recommend them highly enough! Aside from being great people to work with, the venue is beautiful, well-equipped for events, and offers excellent food and drink service. 10/10 would choose them again!

  Everything I hoped for and more!

  Our evening at Ivy Hall was perfect! We wouldn’t change a thing. They made our dreams come true, from a Thai & Texan menu, to dreamy lighting and live jazz!
  The team was so helpful and friendly, and we had so much fun planning with them before the day even arrived! Everything I had dreamed up and pulled together for the big day, they executed perfectly. So grateful we found beautiful Ivy Hall, and thankful for the incredible team there and all of their hard work.

  Joy, joy, joy

  My daughter and son-in-law had a gorgeous wedding at Ivy Hall. Prior planning with Ashley was easy and fun; I knew we were in good hands. The evening couldn’t have been better. The garden looked absolutely beautiful, the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing were smooth, thanks to the most professional, responsive, friendly staff that I’ve ever encountered. So many guests commented about them. And the Tuscan-inspired menu was delicious! I wish we could do it all over again.

  Amazing people to work with

  Ivy Hall was amazing! We instantly knew this was our venue. Think garden, boho, modern vibes. From the time we booked to the day of everyone was kind, helpful and easy to work with. I would 10/10 host another event here. We chose to also rent thier restaurant side The Good Kind and it worked perfectly for us.
  The food was top notch. We wanted a customized "Asain Infusion" and they delivered! The was tasty and plentiful. We have some picky esters in our family but they all loved it.

  Ivy Hall was amazing! We instantly knew this was our venue. Think garden, boho, modern vibes. From the time we booked to the day of everyone was kind, helpful and easy to work with. I would 10/10 host another event here. We chose to also rent thier restaurant side The Good Kind and it worked perfectly for us.

  Wonderful venue, helpful staff

  We loved having our wedding at Ivy Hall! From our initial emails with Tim and Scott through the planning process and the actual event, everyone (particularly Scott -- give that man a raise!) was so helpful. We chose Ivy Hall partially because we loved the idea of a beautiful outdoor venue, and partially for Tim's food, and neither disappointed.
  
  The space is super flexible, so you can pretty much tailor it to your needs. For example we had everything outside and used the entire back space, including the gravel area that is sometimes a parking lot. The catering is also incredibly flexible. Tim can pretty much do whatever you want, and we loved working with her on our dream menu!
  
  All our vendors (DJ, photographers, florist, cake, coordinator, etc.) said Scott was easy to work with and the venue was simple to set up and get in and out of, so that's great that it was perfect not only for us, but also for others involved.
  
  We really cannot say enough great things about Scott and how communicative and helpful he was! If you want a beautiful venue with amazing food and a very helpful and responsive operations manager, Ivy Hall is the spot! Just check out how lovely our photos turned out from golden hour all the way through the evening!

  Truly Exceptional

  We were very picky when choosing a venue in San Antonio. We didn't want a traditional box wedding, but rather something unique & interesting. Well, when we saw Ivy Hall we were taken aback by its amazing secret garden feel. We had a guest count of 300 and every single one of them was astounded by the beauty. Tim the Girl and her team were very professional to work with and the food was amazing. We just can't say enough good things about our experience and wish them the very best.

  A great place to *FINALLY* have our wedding

  We were less than 3 weeks from our original wedding date (April 2020) before everything shut down due to Covid. Ivy Hall and Tim the Girl Catering were very understanding and super responsive--we were able to get a new date scheduled and they helped us coordinate with our rental vendor too to get everything moved to our new date. When we were finally able to have our wedding in October 2021 everything was perfect and exactly how we had imagined.

  Best decision and experience ever!

  If I could give this review more than 5 stars I totally would! This venue is the most beautiful and unique that you will find in town. Our wedding was perfect in every sense. The garden, the food (our guests are still talking about it!!), the customer service, the staff, EVERYTHING!! I didn’t have a weeding planner/coordinator but nonetheless everything was perfect thanks to Melvin. Melvin went above and beyond to make sure that everything went as planned and to make sure we had the most amazing and memorable day. Wouldn’t change anything about our experience!!

  Wow! A true gem.

  We searched all over the area and couldn’t believe this place when we finally laid eyes on it. It’s from another world! 5 minutes from downtown yet you feel in another world. Highly recommend. The staff, food & gardens are just incredible.

  Such a gem

  We absolutely loved our wedding ceremony and reception at Ivy Hall. It was a dream location (and price!) for me, with the wonderful outdoor gardens, indoor hall and all the plants! It was so easy having Ivy Hall as our venue site because it made things simple because they provided it all: Venue- check, Food- check, beverages/booze- check, tables/linens- check. Literally, the best. We worked with Ashley who was the most helpful person. She answered my many questions, coordinated well with my other vendors and wedding coordinator. We were able to have an outside food vendor (ice cream truck) come to the venue also as a late night treat for guests. Our plans constantly were changing due to COVID-19, our guest count decreased dramatically, but through it all Ashley was reassuring that everything would still be wonderful-- and it was. The venue was flexible and understanding with us due to COVID-19, city regulations and our questions about it all. We had a wonderful wedding at Ivy Hall and I would recommend this to all my friends-- for a wedding or other celebratory events (quinceañera, milestone wedding anniversary, milestone birthday, etc).

  Enchanting & Breathtaking

  We stumble upon this venue and couldn’t believe how amazing it was! Like Austin, West Texas with a little NYC. Tucked away right south of downtown it was easy for our guests to Uber from hotels. We can’t recommend this venue enough. The in house catering and bar by Tim The Girl was top notch! Thank you Ivy Hall & Tim the Girl!

  Absolutely gorgeous wedding

  Ivy Hall exceeded all our expectations for our November wedding! Everything was so beautiful, the staff were super nice and on top of everything, the food was excellent, and all our guests had a wonderful time. We were mainly outside but were a little worried about the weather getting too cold, so we set up some of Ivy Hall's furniture inside as well, and used their heaters. It was really helpful that they own quite a few nice tables, heaters, little fireplaces, lounge furniture, etc, that we were able to use.
  
  Ashley was also very helpful and responsive in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding. We were so happy. :) I wish I could do it all over again.

  Wonderful!

  From the beginning Ashley was available and accommodating. The space itself is GORGEOUS! Ivy Hall and Tim the Girl worked within our budget to produce a day I'll never forget. Thanks so much for everything team!

  Absolutely fabulous!

  I have attended two weddings at Ivy Hall and both have been absolutely fabulous. Amazing location and the gardens are just stunning. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and the food was excellent. I just can't say enough about this place!

  Most beautiful venue in San Antonio

  This venue is the prettiest venue I've ever laid eyes on. We knew from the minute we saw it that we wanted to get married here and have our reception. They provide their own onsite catering and bar and at first we were unsure about this but the caterer, Tim the Girl was AMAZING. The staff was a true pleasure to work with and our guests have not stopped raving about the food. THANK YOU!!!!

  Beautiful intimate wedding venue

  Ashley and her team at Ivy Hall were amazing. She was very flexible and creative with us on the food menu, as well as the drink menu. The venue is beautiful, both during the day and at night, and her crew did a great job setting up the rentals and making it look fantastic. It was nice to go through one person for securing the venue, food, alcohol/bar, rentals, servers, and bartender. She even offered to help with flowers, but we only had to take care of flowers, cake, music and officiant beyond that. There isn't any dedicated parking other than street parking, but most of our guests ubered anyway. This is a wonderful venue, especially for a smaller, intimate event. We would highly recommend.
