We recently had our daughter’s wedding at the Bushnell Event Center and could not have been more pleased. From the very first meeting, Lisa was so informative and helpful in us planning our daughter’s dream wedding. We went away from our meeting so relieved and excited for her special day. We asked Lisa for recommendations on DJs and catering, and she offered us many options. The vendors we went with were awesome, thanks to her help. We had plenty of time for decorating and also for tearing down afterwards. The facility was perfect from the space, lighting , accessibility and cleanliness. The event center parking was also a huge plus and very convenient for our guests. Thanks again to Lisa and the Bushnell Event Center. We would recommend it 100%!!

Perfect.... Truly. I read the previous reviews and they must have made a staff change because Tina was absolutely wonderful to work with! She sat down with us multiple times and went through the day thoroughly! She made sure we had the PERFECT amount of food and made the bar set up work for us. We had multiple ideas about how we wanted to do the ceremony and she let us get as creative with the space as we wanted and it turned out beautifully! Tina was so good about getting back with me and my parents. She was very receptive to our budget and made it work for us! She was so good about keeping us on track and focused when we would meet making it far less stressful. It is so easy to get worked up about the amount of details that you're trying to keep straight but any time I started to feel over whelmed she was so reassuring! She even communicated with all of the vendors about delivery and arrival times so we didn't have to worry about it! We are SO thankful to Tina and the staff and Windy Knoll! All of their hard work really allowed us to enjoy our day. I heard how "there will be something that goes wrong" or "you will be so happy when it's over because it's so stressful." I can honestly say we did not feel this way, AT ALL! There were ZERO major issues! ZERO! That only happens when you have a team that is organized, detail oriented, and cares about your big day! Many, many thanks!

I am SO glad that I had my reception at the Heritage Center. Anna, who works with all special events was absolutely incredible, always asking how she could assist me, returning calls and emails on a very timely manner. The center has a museum attached to it which was open to our guests as entertainment for the evening. The Gallery has beautiful pictures on the walls which makes the room look so unique. They have a sound system and a projector/screen that are available for no additional charge. We had all day the day before to set up as well as until Monday to pick up all of our stuff. If I had to do it all over again, I would have our reception here.

What a wonderful place for our daughter's reception. We chose the Courtyard because it had in-house catering, and was close to our ceremony site. I don't think we could have been more fortunate in our choice if we'd looked at a dozen places! Not only was it a lovely venue, the staff made the evening spectacular. Every step of the way over the past months they have been helpful and so pleasant to work with! Everyone was so passionate and proud of their service, which is exactly what you want for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Our Banquet Captain Jeffrey was amazing and took care of a few last-minute details with calm and efficiency. He was a ROCK! Springfield has a gem in the Courtyard by Marriott. Highly recommend for any event.

It’s rare to find a wedding venue that is affordable, beautiful, AND owned by people who take a true interest in your journey. Cliffside Acres is all that and then some. Jordan and her family instantly made us feel at home on our tour two years prior to our wedding. Jordan answered countless questions over the two years with grace and kindness. On the day of the wedding there were of course hiccups. One of those hiccups was a power outage in the morning. The Cliffside Acres team worked quickly to assist and get the power back on within an hour. It also rained the majority of the day but the Cliffside Acres team was ready with umbrellas, smiling faces and reassurance that everything would be perfect regardless. The venue is maintained to perfection. No detail is left unaccounted for. The glasshouse is an absolute MUST. My guest could not stop raving about how absolutely gorgeous the entire property was from top to bottom. Trust me, book Cliffside Acres you seriously won’t regret it!
