Perfect.... Truly. I read the previous reviews and they must have made a staff change because Tina was absolutely wonderful to work with! She sat down with us multiple times and went through the day thoroughly! She made sure we had the PERFECT amount of food and made the bar set up work for us. We had multiple ideas about how we wanted to do the ceremony and she let us get as creative with the space as we wanted and it turned out beautifully! Tina was so good about getting back with me and my parents. She was very receptive to our budget and made it work for us! She was so good about keeping us on track and focused when we would meet making it far less stressful. It is so easy to get worked up about the amount of details that you're trying to keep straight but any time I started to feel over whelmed she was so reassuring! She even communicated with all of the vendors about delivery and arrival times so we didn't have to worry about it! We are SO thankful to Tina and the staff and Windy Knoll! All of their hard work really allowed us to enjoy our day. I heard how "there will be something that goes wrong" or "you will be so happy when it's over because it's so stressful." I can honestly say we did not feel this way, AT ALL! There were ZERO major issues! ZERO! That only happens when you have a team that is organized, detail oriented, and cares about your big day! On the day of our reception the floor was dirty and needed swept so I had to sweep the carpet myself an hour before the reception. The staff did not replenish the hot food as agreed upon, the bathrooms were dirty and I had to ask someone to clean them a couple of hours prior to the wedding reception. The main problem was seeing the alcohol bill at the end of the night. We agreed on a certain amount of alcohol to be served by us. They went ahead and served way more than we planned so we got stuck with the charges. Finally, the head person Sue was hardly around the day before or the day of the reception to help answer some much needed questions as well as getting help with supplies. I agree with the first review, it seems really nice and affordable, but in reality not everything that was agreed on was correct or done. I would never use this place again.

The company seemed like a dream come true, when in reality, they were nothing of the sort. While they were willing to work with my family and I on menu and room set up, the entire plan (which was clearly laid out) came crashing down on the wedding day. They ran out of forks, staff, supervision, HOT food, and refused to cut the wedding cake (part of the plan). This is not a venue to book for a reception. A great place to take out door photos, but celebrate elsewhere... Windy Knoll almost ruined my husband and I's wedding day and they DID ruin my Mom's day as the mother of the bride.
