This Springfield Metropolis holds an incredibly special place in my heart because it was the church where I grew up. Walking through a place that had felt like my home away from home for so many years brought tears to my eyes the very first day my now husband and I toured it together. Every corner was filled with cherished memories, and seeing the incredible care, dedication, and love that had been poured into restoring one of Springfield’s oldest and most beautiful buildings was deeply moving. It felt like watching a beloved piece of my childhood come back to life in the most breathtaking way.
