When my husband and I started searching for the perfect wedding venue, Brookside Golf and Country Club wasn’t originally at the top of our list. In fact, we initially considered it a “tester” venue—somewhere to get a feel for what we liked, what questions to ask, and what to expect in terms of cost. Little did we know that our “tester” venue would turn out to be the dream venue we never knew we wanted, and the place where my bridal shower would be thrown as well. From the very first email, Chris and her team impressed us with their quick responses, organization, and willingness to work seamlessly with our other vendors. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Chris made the entire process effortless. We always felt like we were in great hands, and that level of trust is invaluable when planning such an important day. Then came the venue itself. The open and airy reception space was exactly what we were looking for—no obstructed views, no crammed tables—just an elegant setting where all of our guests could truly enjoy the evening. The outdoor patio was another highlight, giving our guests a beautiful spot to enjoy cocktails and appetizers under the open sky. And let’s talk about the food—because we all know a wedding meal can make or break the guest experience. Brookside absolutely nailed it! It wasn’t just good for wedding food—it was incredible by any standard. Our guests are still raving about it! But perhaps the most magical part of Brookside is the setting itself. The property is stunning, with countless picture-perfect spots for photos. The elegant building, the lush greens, and the breathtaking weeping willow at the entrance created the most romantic backdrop for our wedding album. We were lucky to have a beautiful, sunny day, but honestly, Brookside would be gorgeous in any season. Beyond its beauty, Brookside is also centrally located in Columbus, making it easy for our guests to travel and choose accommodations that fit their needs. Looking back, we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Brookside Golf and Country Club delivered everything we could have hoped for—an easy planning process, a gorgeous venue, incredible food, and staff that truly cared about making our day special. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that checks every box (and then some), we wholeheartedly recommend Brookside. You won’t be disappointed!

Worthington Hills Country Club was an absolutely perfect place to host our wedding reception, and Christy could not have been more helpful in guiding us through the planning process and taking care of us on our wedding day. She happily helped us navigate two delays to our wedding date, worked to make sure we could achieve the aesthetic and the party that we wanted with an ever-changing guest headcount, and even honored out of date meal prices and off-menu selections as a result of our prolonged planning and COVID-related delays. The food and the service were impeccable once we reached our ceremony, and their staff was extremely helpful when it came to finding extra chairs or tables or decorating supplies, rounding up decorations, and keeping things running smoothly during the event itself. Their space is beautiful, and although we originally booked it hoping to have a spring wedding amidst the blooming flowers in the garden surrounding the clubhouse, it surpassed our expectations as the venue for a fall wedding amidst the changing leaves. The indoor space was perfect for our 115 person event, but could have easily accommodated 150. We could not have asked for more out of our reception venue!

We had the most incredible experience with Vitria for our wedding! From the very beginning, we were blown away by how attentive and understanding the team was to our vision. Weddings are so personal, and we had a unique idea of what we wanted, but we were concerned about whether it could come to life the way we imagined. Vitria and their amazing team went above and beyond, and they truly delivered a flawless day. The entire process, from planning to execution, was stress-free, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the day without worrying about the details. The day itself can be emotionally and logistically overwhelming, but thanks to the professionalism of the Vitria team, we were able to be in the moment and enjoy every second. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and the food and staff received endless praise. It was the perfect setting, and the team helped bring our vision to life in a way we could never have imagined. We are so grateful for everything Vitria did to make our wedding day a dream come true. Thank you for making our special day flawless!

My wife and I selected this as our wedding venue for November 16, 2018. We had met with other venues but the downtown location, the beautiful dining room, the convenience for overnight guests, and the price were determining factors for our choice. Not to mention they take care of setup, decorating, table and bar service, and tear down. All important factors to us. We wanted to be able to show up and leave without worry. Bridgett Ramirez was the Capital Club/ DoubleTree event coordinator. She stepped in and took are of everything with ease. During the planning period she was uncomplicated and harmonious. Any change or inquiry was met with the utmost professionalism and again, ease. After speaking with Bridgett we always felt calm yet excited about the most important day of our lives. We were confident that she would handle whatever arising matters may come our way. Even for something as simple as the tasting, she, the chef, and other staff made it feel like a special evening among friends. We had hoped that the tasting would be indication of the wedding itself but the results were beyond our imagination. I really cannot say enough about our experience, nor could our guests. Everyone at DoubleTree/ Capital Club made us all feel like VIP’s. Bridgett gave us a worry-free experience so that we and our guests could enjoy our celebration. The entire kitchen and service staff came out to witness our ceremony and first dance. They danced with us, checked on us and our guests throughout the day and evening; they made us feel like they were celebrating with us. I have never experienced such service or such genuine care at a wedding. Afterwards there were chocolate covered strawberries and breakfast drinks waiting in our room. The next afternoon snacks were sent up. Throughout the weekend the staff checked in on us and congratulated us. We have had some experience with weddings of friends and family, some of which were within weeks of our own. This allowed for us to truly compare but we could not. There was no contest. The service and care from DoubleTree/ Capital Club was untouchable. This is what the Hilton brand means to us.
