Facilities and Capacity

The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center is one of three gorgeous spaces available for your big day at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in lovely Lewis Center. Here, you'll find expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wooden beams, gold string lights across a cathedral-style ceiling, and a cozy brick fireplace. An adjoining patio overlooks a shimmering pond that boasts lit fountains, the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding photoshoot. This beautiful space can accommodate anywhere from 100-200 guests. If you're throwing a larger celebration, the NorthPointe Ballroom is a delightful space with a Georgian-style front porch and a refined gathering room that can welcome up to 225 guests. For a grand soiree, the Grand Ballroom is the perfect choice for celebrations with up to 300 loved ones. This area has a majestic atrium entrance, French doors, and a chic courtyard, and it can be customized to match your wedding vision.

Services Offered

Desi at NHCC is the BEST!

We were impressed with NHCC and booked our wedding for the North Pointe Ballroom. We had worked with one planner and that person left the company. We were transitioned to Desi as our planner and we were nervous about a new planner. Desi went out of her way to assure us that everything would be great, scheduled calls, and met with us. On our wedding day, Desi was beyond incredible and did so much more than we could have ever imagined! From set up, to talking to vendors, to keeping the wedding party organized, she did so much work. As the groom we probably spoke every 20 minutes that day making sure everything was perfect. We had a few hiccups with guest not coming or coming without Rsvping which complicated our plated meals and assigned seating. Desi told me about it and we got it taken care of right away and the party didn't miss a beat! Without Desi, our wedding would not have been the dream that it was!
All of the rest of the staff at NHCC was great as well. From Brittany helping us in the beginning and during our planner transition, hotel staff, bartenders, set up, everyone was great. The property was beautiful, for our fall wedding and a summer wedding that we attended. The food was great. Bar on site to go to after the wedding. Nice rooms for you and guests to stay in. We could not recommend this place enough. And make sure you ask for Desi!! She was so thorough, so detail oriented, so focused on making our day perfect. And she did, and we will be forever grateful for that!

NHCC was amazing from start to finish. Kate V was alongside us from the moment we began planning to visualizing decorations & menu options to executing on the big day. We're still receiving compliments on how nice the hotel rooms were, how fun it was to have The Pub on site and how delicious the food was throughout the night. I can't recommend it highly enough

Our event was a total success due to our coordinator, Bryan Wright. We have received many comments about how beautiful and elegant everything was from the music to the catered meal. Everything was very professional and the service was great. Bryan was very flexible and said that it was my event and he was there to make it happen the way I wanted it to and it did.

We had many guests from out-of-town and it was wonderful that the hotel was on-site, Great place to have an event. We had no regrets.

November Wedding

Getting to have our wedding at nationwide hotel and conference center was honestly a dream! The location is beautiful, the amenities are wonderful, and the staff really helps to generate a flawless experience! My husband and I just got married there in November and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day ❤️ getting to work with Desi made the experience that much more enjoyable. She was attentive to detail, there for not only us but our family/guests every step of the way, and just all around a wonderful person to work with! Our special day would not have been the same without her! Thank you for helping make our dream day come true!

From the moment we toured Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center, my (now) husband and I knew this was the right venue for our New Year's Eve wedding. NHCC is unique in they provide a campus layout, so the hotel is separate from the ballroom space and there is a pub located just steps away on the property. You don't feel like you are in a hotel, but rather going from one venue to the next throughout the day.

The most important and biggest reason why we decided to book with NHCC was the staff. Bryan W. is extremely personable, attentive and knows so much about weddings and how to make an event a success. Lisa S. was there to guide us as our date quickly approached and has an abundance of knowledge and creativity to give our event a special touch. From start to finish we had support from Bryan and Lisa. We truly felt as if we were their only clients and could recognize the pride they took in creating a memorable experience for us to remember for years to come. We cannot begin to thank you all enough.

Everyone who is planning a wedding should look into Nationwide Hotel and Conference. Our experience with the staff at this place has been top notch from the beginning. They are simply amazing. Brian set up the contract for us, listened to our needs and our budget and bended over backwards to meet them with utmost care and professionalism. Lisa was our wedding coordinator and she is absolutely fantastic, covered all the details, made sure that everything turned out perfect, was easy to work with, made our planning a breeze and our day went without a flaw. Not one thing went wrong! We have received so many compliments on how tasty the food was and how great the service! I couldn't have been happier with our day. If you want care free planning, great food and wonderful atmosphere, choose this place! You won't regret it. ~ Ramona

Last Saturday I had the priviledge of coordinating a wedding for Alyson and Gavin Hupp at Northpointe Hotel and Conference Center. The staff and facility were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious as well as the professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend this venue to all potential brides, grooms and their families!

Beautiful venue with top notch staff! I have previously worked as part of a banquet staff and have worked a lot of weddings. As such at almost every event I go to I can't help but notice all of the little things that the staff doesn't get quiet right. However, the staff at Nationwide was perfect and flawless! From the time we started planning our wedding to checking into the hotel and all the way through our special night we always felt like we were their only customers. I couldn't recommend a venue or a staff more than here at Nationwide. Having Lisa as our coordinator was amazing. She is perfect at her job and makes this day the most special day of your life.

Best all inclusive venue in columbus!

Planning a wedding around Covid-19 was not easy, but Brittany and the event staff did an excellent job with our wedding October 2nd 2020. We felt like absolute royalty and our guests felt very comfortable with all of the precautions taken by Nationwide to keep everyone safe and healthy. Beautiful venue, kind and gracious staff, amazing food, and an event planner who went above and beyond at every step.

10/10 Best Wedding Venue!

We cannot recommend the staff at Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center enough. They are exactly who you want for help planning your wedding. We worked the most with Brittany, who was super friendly, and seems a like a friend of mine now after working with us throughout our two year engagement for planning our wedding. She was patient in answering all our questions (we had a LOT) and organized in planning for us. She even provided dates the ballroom was having weddings and allowed us to pop in before the wedding started so we could see how they decorated. Our wedding turned out to be scheduled for during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, and Brittany and Jaime were SO prompt in helping us reschedule - we were able to find a new date that worked for everyone in only a few hours due to their responsiveness. They even adjusted some terms of our contract to be more flexible due to the pandemic. We cannot recommend Nationwide HCC enough and I will keep it in mind for future events!!

This is one of my favorite Columbus venues! The facility is beautiful and constantly being renovated and refreshed. The staff will bend over backward for any of their couples. The food is the best in the city. As if all that wasn't enough, the hotel has a bar on site for late-night celebrations and it's all in one location to ensure your guest are safe and everything is convenient. I can't say enough fantastic things about this venue!
