Our wedding at the W Hoboken was everything we hoped it would be, and so much of that is thanks to Julian and the incredible team. From our very first planning meeting to the tasting and finally our wedding day, we always felt like we were in the best hands. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and Julian became so much more than a venue coordinator. He was a sounding board, problem solver, and calming presence throughout the entire process. Every time I started stressing over the little things—whether it was easels for our signs, a card box, bathroom baskets, vendor logistics, or details I hadn’t even thought of yet—his response was always, “I’ve got you.” Knowing he had everything under control allowed me to actually enjoy being a bride. Honestly, I didn’t need a wedding planner because Julian filled that role and then some. I also have to give a huge thank you to Chef. From the beginning, he was incredibly accommodating to all of my ideas, questions, and requests. We discussed everything from small appetizer tweaks to accommodating food allergies, and he always approached every conversation with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make the menu exactly what we envisioned. He came out to speak with me several times during our visits to the venue and again at our tasting, never making us feel rushed. Like Julian, he made us feel less like clients and more like family, and that personal touch meant so much. Thais, the banquet manager, was also fantastic. She made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of throughout the evening. Our server, Chris, absolutely blew us away. During cocktail hour I mentioned in passing that I don’t drink alcohol, and without me ever asking, he made sure I always had alcohol-free champagne for toasts and kept me stocked with our signature mocktail throughout the night. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel so cared for. Speaking of the mocktail… it exceeded every expectation. We created a White Peach Ginger Mule, and it turned out absolutely incredible. The ingredients tasted unbelievably fresh, the balance of flavors was perfect—not overly sweet (which is important because I’m incredibly picky with drinks!)—and guests loved it so much that many of them added vodka or tequila to make it their cocktail of choice for the evening. It ended up being one of the unexpected highlights of the night! The food deserves every bit of praise it receives. We continue to hear from guests that it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. As the bride, I didn’t get to eat much, but the salmon was phenomenal, the Thai salad was delicious, and the lobster roll at cocktail hour was one of my favorite bites of the day. I also have to mention Julia, who took care of us during our tasting. She was an absolute joy.. warm, attentive, and genuinely excited for us. That same warmth and hospitality carried through every interaction we had with the W team. What impressed us most was that every single person made us feel like their top priority. They constantly checked in to make sure we were okay, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and truly went above and beyond to make the day effortless for us and enjoyable for our guests. To Julian, Chef, Thais, Chris, Julia, and the entire culinary, banquet, and service teams… thank you for creating such an unforgettable wedding experience. We are beyond grateful and would recommend the W Hoboken without hesitation. It wasn’t just a beautiful venue… it was a team of people who genuinely cared about us, celebrated with us, and made us feel like family. We will always look back on our wedding with so much gratitude because of each of you.
