I got married Jan 6th 2018 on the coldest day of the year! Following few days it was 50*, go figure. Anyway, I had an enormous amount of people from out of town attending our wedding, we live locally and the Hyatt in Morristown offered a room rate block for 2 nights! Typically I find hotels offer night of the wedding, but they were able to provide that rate for fri before the wedding as well! This was amazing for my guests who were staying a few days. Not to mention Morristown has alot to offer out of town guests and public transportation to NYC! I worked with Sarah and Karina and they were both LOVELY! Always accessible and always kept in touch. I had my room block fill up 3 times and asked for extensions each time. They were even accommodating when the dead line was over to help me find rooms for family and friends who procrastinated! I made gift bags for guests as they checked in (which was a hit)...the downstairs bar was a great place for us all to meet up in between events and breakfast the next morning was a nice way to end our wedding weekend! We did not do a sit down, we just paid as people woke up and came down that way people who wanted to be on their way could leave. Karina made the days leading up to my wedding stress free and kept me in the loop with check ins. Based on the amount of people who booked rooms I was able to snag a COMPLIMENTARY shuttle service to and from our wedding venue which was a HUGE plus! They also offer the bride and groom a complimentary studio suite night of the wedding with a bottle of champagne. Everything was great and most of all EASY! We even had our rehearsal dinner right across the street at Olive Lucy's so noone had to drive anywhere. You can read that review as well =)

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Madison Hotel. We booked the Conservatory for both the ceremony and reception (April 2026, 6:30PM start) and had our guests coming up to us constantly expressing just how beautiful everything was. We had worked with 3 different people over the course of our 2 year engagement and found that everyone was incredibly friendly and responsive. Our Maitre'd (Jose) was absolutely awesome to work with on the day. He had the staff extremely coordinated and everything flowed seamlessly to ensure that we had a perfect wedding day. There was another ceremony in the Conservatory 2hrs before ours and you never would've known. Everything is run extremely efficiently - even when glasses broke on accident and the cops showed up, we didn't know until the next morning. Overall, could not recommend enough. We had around 135 guests in the Conservatory which definitely felt like plenty, if not a little crowded, even though they mentioned that the max is 155. So I would definitely recommend keeping the numbers lower if using that space for both ceremony and reception. But because we had so many people, it pushed the bar down to the midlevel which our guests actually preferred as it offered a quieter place to chat if they wanted to step away from the music briefly. All in all, we felt like everything went off about as smoothly as it could've and having everything coordinated in on place (hotel, catering, etc) was a dream (something our guests really appreciated as well with the hotel). We couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else.

We blocked rooms at the Westin Governor Morris for our wedding weekend and couldn't be happier! Christina Rodriguez was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. The hotel is stunning (rooms are slightly dated but still lovely), and they handled multiple weddings that weekend seamlessly. Highlights: Christina went above and beyond with breakfast setup coordination, even managing details while she was out of office. They were incredibly flexible with food storage from our venue after our wedding. We negotiated complimentary suite upgrades for us and both sets of parents. They included shuttle service to/from the venue and that was a huge plus. Great location near downtown Morristown, and our out of town guests loved the area. Monthly then weekly booking updates kept us informed, which was crucial with 85% of out-of-state guests. When we had last-minute breakfast changes (family issues, not their fault), they were insanely helpful and accommodating. The bellhops were phenomenal! Remembered our names and wouldn't let us carry a thing all weekend. Note: No free breakfast included, so budget for their restaurant or private buffet if you want a morning-after event. Highly recommend negotiating for upgrades because they can be very generous!
