Birchwood Manor is an elegant Georgian mansion and wedding venue located in Whippany, New Jersey. Nestled on over 20 acres of magnificent, park-like splendor, the venue is just thirty minutes from New York City. This exquisite establishment features crystal chandeliered ballrooms, glass-enclosed atriums, covered outdoor patios, lush gardens, and much more.
Facilities and Capacities
Birchwood Manor has many event spaces available. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a dramatic spiral staircase in the venue’s lobby and directed to a separate cocktail hour room, followed by the main reception room. The Grand Ballroom is the largest celebration space available. Able to accommodate up to 800 guests, the breathtaking interior feature four magnificent crystal chandeliers and a solid wood dance floor. Similarly, the Jefferson Ballroom offers an elegant setting for an extravagant affair. Here, couples can celebrate with up to 425 guests amidst hand-painted frescos, tall bay windows, and a beveled mirror wall. Other indoor options for more intimate gatherings include the Madison Room and Ann Farrell's Room. Alternatively, couples are welcome to host their nuptials on the venue's picturesque grounds. The gazebo, foundations, and enchanting gardens are all beautiful backdrops for ceremonies and receptions.
Cuisine
Birchwood Manor is proud to expertly prepare exquisite continental cuisine. Couples are welcome to choose from menu packages or customize their own. Hors d'oeuvres, buffet, stations, and plated serving styles are a few of the options available. Dessert menus include customized wedding cakes, a chocolate fountain, pastries, an ice cream cart, and a Viennese Table of selections from their bakery. Dietary alternatives such as gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free, and vegetarian options are also available. Throughout milestone celebrations, couples and their guests can avail of the venue's full bartending services.
