Amazing Venue!

My now husband and I went venue shopping for our wedding a month after our engagement in November 2021 and it was very overwhelming to say the least. The day we went to see the Royal Manor for the first time, we had seen about 3 other places the same day. We were quite tired to say the least. It must have been fate because we were about an hour early for our appointment and instead of meeting with whoever we were supposed to, we had the pleasure of touring the venue with the amazing Carmel. She did not push us to book The Royal Manor, she simply showed us the entire property and talked to us on a deeper level, understanding how overwhelming this process was for us. We felt so comfortable talking to Carmel. She went as far as telling us that it didn’t matter where we chose for our wedding venue but that our wedding day would be the best day of our lives no matter what. We immediately fell in love with the Royal Manor, but more importantly we felt like this venue was the perfect place for us because Carmel was not trying to sell the venue to us like the rest of the venues we saw. We came back two weeks later with both of our parents and Carmel went above and beyond. We got to try the food at the venue and tour it while they were preparing for another wedding. Once we officially booked The Royal Manor, Carmel told us that we could contact her at any time with questions or anything that we need. I must admit, I definitely abused that in the one year of planning our wedding, but Carmel was always so attentive and responsive to me and all my needs, as was the General Manager, Magda! A week before our wedding we came to see the venue with our event decorator and when I found out Carmel was scheduled off the day of our wedding, I insisted that she must be there as she played such a significant role in us booking this venue. Magda of course made Carmel come into work that day! They have been so wonderful to work with. When I decided last minute that I wanted my signature cocktail drink to be a lychee martini, something they don’t normally serve- Magda made sure she was able to get this for me last minute. Our wedding day was a dream come true. The Royal Manor went above and beyond. We received so many compliments from all our family and friends on how beautiful the venue is and how wonderful not only the cocktail hour was but how great dinner was! My husband and I are both Indian and most Indian weddings are at the Venetian or the Westmount, so this was something different for all of our guests and they were truly impressed and wouldn’t stop talking about how grand our wedding was. Not to mention they have a huge beautiful bridal suite, where all 26 of our bridesmaids and groomsmen fit and we had food from our cocktail hour served to us there.

Best wedding at the Royal Manor!!!

I just got married here on September 2,2022 and could not be happier with this venue, the management, and service from start to finish. Truly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had specific dietary requests (he is vegetarian and does not eat milk products either) and the venue was able to accommodate all our requests. They answered all questions prior to the wedding and ensured they understood our vision. Shout out to the incredible manager, Magda, for getting all the details! She was an absolute joy to work with.

The day of our wedding was so smooth and everything went perfect. Our bridal sweet had drinks already and our maitre’d made sure to bring our favorite ones up. All our food requests were brought up during cocktail hour so we could eat before mingling with our guests. Our maitre’d made sure we were happy and taken care of all night.

The food was DELICIOUS. I got texts all the following day complimenting the cocktail hour. Many people said it was the best wedding they’d been to. I was thrilled from start to finish! Thank you to everyone at the Royal manor for making this special day perfect!

Incredible Wedding at the Royal Manor in Garfield, NJ

This is probably going to be a lengthy review but after the great experience we recently had at the Royal Manor in Garfield, NJ. I felt that it was warranted as I wanted to include the details that made this event so fabulous.

On August 7, 2022, my daughter, Maggie, and her “former-fiance-now-husband” were married at the Royal Manor in Garfield, NJ. It has taken me more than a week to write this because I am still focusing on how wonderful the ceremony and reception were! All I want to do is look at the pictures and the videos of what I considered a perfect wedding. The staff at the Royal Manor could not have done more to make this lifetime event so great.

There are way too many people to thank since they were all remarkable but we cannot say enough about Carmel! Carmel basically managed the ceremony, reception, the food and even provided information on the local hotels which she visits personally before booking guests to ensure that the accommodations would meet the expectations of the guests.

Carmel was also instrumental with her assistance in selecting the items we wanted to include at our wedding. The “tasting” included delicious ceviche in champagne glasses, shrimp tempura and shrimp cocktail that were among the best I ever had (and I’m fussy), scallops, oysters, stuffed clams, lamb and a Mexican station, a Polish station, etc., etc.. And these were only a few of the items included during the cocktail hour. My daughter also had a margarita bar outside on the patio and a beautiful ice luge for the vodka. To top things off, one of the first things guests encountered upon entering the cocktail hour was a very nice gentleman who treated everyone to a show of making homemade mozzarella. It was fabulous!

Of course, I need to thank Kelly who was my daughter’s bridal attendant. Kelly was constantly available to fulfill last-minute requests and make sure everyone in the bridal suite was taken care of. Kelly and Magda, one of the managers, were bringing in pitchers of soda, water, assorted wines and lots of great ‘hors d’oeuvres to snack on while we all prepared for the ceremony. I never realized how important a bridal suite was but since we were in it for several hours, we all enjoyed the comfort of the cushioned furniture and of course everyone in the bridal party loved all of the mirrors. There was also a private bathroom and another large room with circular tables so anyone who needed to escape the craziness could do so and calm their nerves in peace and quiet.

We would also like to compliment the maitre d’hotel, Tek, who oversaw the various staff members who were working the venue that evening. Everything was so extremely well organized and I loved that even after the cocktail hour waiters were still coming into the reception hall where everyone was getting seated for dinner. I loved this because I was able to snag a couple of shrimp tempura appetizers that were incredible.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The ballroom is huge (seats 600) and there is also another very large room where cocktail hour is held. Off of the cocktail hour room is a very nice outdoor patio with a bar. It is large enough so that anyone who wants to have the ceremonly outside can do so and it is a beautiful patio with a waterfall and lovely flowers.

Thank you, everyone, at the Royal Manor for making this such a spectacular event! Three or four days after the ceremony we were still getting texts from people who complimented the food, the staff, and the overall logistics of the Royal Manor. I am so glad that my daughter and son-in-law chose this venue—and believe me, they checked out several before booking. I can’t think of a better place to hold a wedding. The staff at the Royal Manor truly did a magnificent job. Thank you.
