The Wythe Hotel is a historic wedding and reception venue located in Brooklyn, New York. Overlooking the waterfront, with views of Manhattan's iconic skyline, this effortlessly stylish property has an elegant and industrial feel, from its original heavy timber ceilings to arched windows and exquisite masonry. Housed in a 1901 barrel factory, every aspect of the building reflects the charm of its past life, and serves as the perfect backdrop for your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
At Wythe Hotel, we can accommodate all of the events surrounding your big day, including hotel rooms for your guests, rehearsal dinners, suites for luxurious preparations the day-of, and post-wedding brunches for the following morning. Our Main Hall offers room for one-hundred-and-fifty guests for magnificent celebrations. The Intimate Weddings Package begins with an elegant ceremony and bespoke cocktail reception surrounded by breathtaking Manhattan skyline views in the Penthouse Loft, followed by a candlelit dinner, cake cutting, and after party in the Cellar, our newley renovated private dining room adorned with exposed brick and antique chandeliers. All of these event spaces are customizable, letting you add your own personal touch to this historic setting.

Cuisine
All catering is provided by our acclaimed, in-house restaurant, Le Crocodile - a neighborhood brasserie serving earnest French fare inspired by our Parisian and New York favorites. We feature locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and provide restaurant quality meals and service in a banquet setting. All desserts, including wedding cakes are made by our in-house pastry team. Couples are always welcome to visit this iconic hotel to learn more about the facilities and services available for their wedding celebration.

Best venue ever, 'nuff said
I love that the Wythe handles just about everything you'd need to put on a wedding– food, bar program, tables, chairs, linens, A/V, menus, dessert etc. You really could do it without any additional vendors if you wanted, and that's a big reason I decided to book here (minimal hassle researching and contracting every little thing!) If you do want to add outside vendors for florals, decor, DJ, etc they've got a great list of reco's who know the space and are professional, talented and trustworthy.
And I haven't even gotten to the bit about the bridal suite!!! I was entirely floored by the beauty and luxury of the 7th floor South loft. Wowowow.
Did I mention that several guests said this was the best food they ever had at a wedding? And honestly, just some of the best food ever.
In a world where planning a wedding is already a big and stressful task (i.e., New York City) the Wythe Hotel team takes a huge load off and makes things as easy as possible. I'm genuinely out of words– everything here is 11/10 and worth every penny.
Our Dream NYC Wedding
One of the biggest standouts was the staff. Everyone — from the hotel team to the waitstaff to the wedding staff — was unbelievably kind, communicative, and attentive. You can tell they host many weddings and have an amazing flow, but ours still felt so personal and unique. Nothing ever felt rushed or cookie-cutter; it truly felt like *our* day.
And the food… absolutely insane. We’re still getting so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, from the cocktails to the dinner to the late-night bites. The service was flawless, warm, and incredibly well-orchestrated.
We felt completely taken care of the entire time. Every question was met with clarity, every detail handled with care, and every moment supported by a team that genuinely wanted our day to be perfect. We are so grateful to The Wythe Hotel for giving us a wedding experience that exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Cassie’s calm, confident guidance made the months leading up to the big day feel exciting rather than stressful. She is organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your vision come to life. Simply put: Cassie is the kind of person you want in your corner on one of the most important days of your life.
The venue itself is immaculate — every space has that perfect blend of character and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that feels both stylish and warm. The food? Absolutely unforgettable. The Wythe’s Michelin-starred kitchen delivered a menu that our guests are still raving about, and every dish was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. The packages they offer are thoughtful and flexible, allowing us to customize our day to perfectly fit our style.
On the day of the wedding, the entire Wythe team operated like a well-oiled machine. Every moment flowed seamlessly, from the ceremony to the reception to our grand exit for the after party.
