We cannot say enough amazing things about the Grand Hotel and are amazing experience there. We had our reception and cocktail hour on the sundeck 9/12/25 which had beautiful views. The reception area was indoors and had beautiful panoramic views of the ocean. My guests have continued to rave about the wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE. The chef was amazing at the tasting, and although out wedding had over 200 people, the food was just as delicious at the wedding as it was at the tasting. The best part of the whole process was Katlyn the wonderful coordinator. From start to finish, she truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly attentive, always available, and answered every question promptly. Her organization and attention to detail made every step of the wedding process feel smooth and stress free. On top of her professionalism, she has an amazing personality that made working with her such a joy. She genuinely cared about our vision and made us feel supported the entire way. We are so grateful for everything she did.

We were searching for the perfect venue to host an intimate and special wedding celebration dinner in Cape May -one of our favorite beach towns - and Peter Shields Inn exceeded every expectation. Beautifully located just across the street from the beach in Cape May, NJ, the setting alone is stunning and full of charm. They graciously accommodated our group of 30 guests in their Brides Room for a private dinner, and despite the smaller wedding size, it felt every bit as meaningful, elegant, and memorable as a larger wedding celebration. We were able to bring in our own wedding cake and have on-site photography, which made the evening feel even more personal and special. Our guests also enjoyed relaxing on the porch with cocktails while my husband and I took photos on the beach. It was such a lovely and seamless experience. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, but the event coordinator, Amy, truly went above and beyond. She was absolutely spectacular; always prompt, thorough, and thoughtful in her communication. She connected us with outstanding local vendors: Khalil for piano, Tim Joyce for photography, Cape Winds Florist for centerpieces, and Bake Works for our cake. Every single vendor she recommended was exceptional and easy to work with. Amy also ensured that all dietary restrictions were handled with care and kindness, and she went out of her way to help set everything up in advance so that we could simply arrive, relax, and fully enjoy our time with our loved ones. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire process stress-free and truly enjoyable. This was truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Peter Shields Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate, and unforgettable setting to celebrate a marriage or special occasion. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Lindsey DeBaun and her team at the Washington Inn were absolutely phenomenal to work with from the very start. We had the pleasure of working with Lindsey to help execute everything from the menu to design choices on the property. From the very beginning, Lindsay was communicative, helpful, and flexible with our needs and wishes. As someone with severe dietary restrictions, Lindsey was super helpful in making sure our menu could be prepared safely for someone with celiac, as most of the food was already naturally gluten-free. She was very happy to provide us with more information on the ingredient list for the entire menu, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Lindsey was also very accommodating to us bringing in many of our own items for the design for the wedding that really completed the picture. Her whole team was easy and kind to work with the weekend of, helping us to set up everything perfectly to our wishes. They made the entire process easy. She was clearly very comfortable working at this venue and knew the place inside and out. The grounds the weekend of were phenomenally manicured. The grass, landscaping, and other flowers on site looked really amazing despite a tough drought that had been going on at the time. This really added to the venue it’s beautiful setting. The food the day of was phenomenal. The Washington Inn really knows how to deliver on an excellent meal. We were so grateful for the opportunity to work with Lindsey and the Washington Inn for making our wedding unforgettable!

Dec. 6th, 2024 my husband and I got engaged at the Christmas tree at Rotary Park in Cape May, NJ. It's such a magical town and a magical time of year. In January 2025, we reached out to Jeri Anne at The Inn Of Cape May. We discussed our plans for a Christmassy December wedding. Without thinking twice, she was on it. She helped us figure out everything from our dinner selections, entertainment for the reception, transportation ideas, and all vendors we needed for the ceremony and everything in between. In the end, with the help and attentiveness of Jeri Anne we were able to pull off my very own perfect Hallmark Christmas Wedding. The entire experience was truly remarkable and we are so blessed to have chosen the Inn and to have Jeri Anne help make everything perfect!

La Mer Beachfront and resort was the perfect space for our September wedding in Cape May NJ. Krystina and Gabrielle went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was flawless. From the early days of our planning we were completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Our meal tasting with Gab was delicious and well thought out making the meal selection easy and fun. The day of the wedding the rockstar I mean Krystina removed all stress and anxiety from us. With her calm and professional demeanor she really made us feel at ease by taking total control of every detail and request that made the day so special. The Pier House Terrace was a beautiful space and perfect for our intimate wedding reception, making our vision come to life. Our guests loved the food/drinks and the desserts were amazing. The filet was so tender no knife was needed. We really wish we could relive that day over and over, it couldn't be more perfect! We HIGHLY recommend La Mer for your wedding day. We can't thank Krystina and Gabrielle enough for not just doing an amazing job but for actually showing that they care about us. -The Salvatores

Catherine helped us have the wedding of our dreams on September 23rd! We did not hire a separate day-of coordinator, which I do not regret - Catherine helped coordinate our rehearsal, set up any decor or things we brought the day of the wedding, as well as packing it all up at the end of the night and making sure all of our items were returned to us. Unfortunately a tropical storm with high winds hit the day of our wedding, and Congress Hall seamlessly pivoted to institute a plan - they even closed the Boiler Room to allow us to have our cocktail hour there while they turned over the Ballroom from the ceremony to the reception. They allowed my bridesmaids and I get ready in the Harrison Room, which was perfect for our larger size party. Our guests could also not stop raving about the food. One correction I do have though is the website says the ballroom fits up to 250 which is not true - with a dance floor, under 200 fits more comfortably (we were worried we'd have close to 220 and this was going to be a difficult squeeze). Overall we were thrilled with our special day turned out, and so happy we could share the charm of Congress Hall and Cape May with our family and friends. We can't wait to return to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and for years to come.
