My husband and I got married in Lewes, DE on 06/24/2022, and we had our reception in the Lewes Room of Irish Eyes. We had an incredible experience. From the first day we reached out, our communication with Jennifer was fantastic. Throughout the course of our year-long engagement prior to the wedding, Jennifer was incredibly helpful and prompt in answering all of our questions, helping us plan our perfect day, and even welcoming us into the venue countless times so we could work out final details for our wedding. We couldn’t have done it without her! Although we chose to have our ceremony at an outdoor nearby location, we did have rain insurance to have our ceremony in the Lewes Room as a backup, and they offer a beautiful space for doing so. Our food was wonderful, the service was fantastic, and everyone there had a great time and was so excited for us. The views over the marina are remarkable. You really can’t ask for a better view at a better value. You won’t regret having your special event here, we highly recommend!

Jenn and team made our wedding absolutely perfect from our first tour of the venue to the wedding day! We were married on October 12th, 2025 during a Nor’Easter with high winds and flooding predicted- Jenn communicated with me and eased my anxiety so much! The planning process was simple with no hidden fees and easy payments, food was fabulous during tasting and on wedding day! Jenn and team were so helpful and professional on our wedding day- we could not be happier!! The venue is gorgeous and the excellent staff is the cherry on top!

Me and my wife's wedding was on Sunday June 9th 2024. Planning the whole experience was a bit overwhelming with price, timing, etc. But Jen was absolutely incredible! She helped us understand the different price points in an easily digestable way. The price was quite literally perfect for where we wanted to be and the payments easy to make. That was a major headache solved! Setting up the tasting and tour of the venue was really simple as well. Day of was simple and fun... and the food was great! We ended up picking the Shrimp and Crab pasta and the Ham. Everyone loved it at the wedding! Jen kept in contact throughout the process which helped us stay on track with planning. Once we booked our vendors... one of which she was very familiar with... it was so easy after that. The venue itself was plenty big enough for our small wedding of 50ish guests. But it could easily fit twice that. The views of the water were very nice. Jen was very flexiable with customizing how we wanted the set up to be. Loved the different assortment of linens made available. We went with black to match our black/burgundy colors. When it came time for us to decorate, it was easy to load everything inside... and easy to load out. They do have an elevator to help with this too. The ceremony space I really liked because it was bright and felt more intimate. They also provide an archway you can decorate which was awesome. The biggest sigh of relief was when we had an issue with our officiant being very late, one of the staff is licensed and can easily fill in... which we almost took them up on. But the fact they were willing to do that with a moments notice shows their dedication to making your wedding the best experience possible. I can't rave enough about how easy Jen and Irish Eyes made our experience to where we could actually enjoy our time together and with our guests. The price could easily be double for how great this was. Thank you Irish Eyes staff for giving us a very memorable special day!

This venue is absolutely amazing! The "wedding room" is beautiful, little decorations are needed, and the location is so pretty for photos. Also, the venue coordinator Jennifer was a dream to work with. I was just married here on 3/18/23, and couldn't have asked for a better outcome! For everything that you get, I think the price is more than reasonable and comparable to other venues.

We couldn't have picked a better place to get married for our small ceremony and reception. We had about 30 people and it was such a breeze working with Jen. She was very pleasant and fun to work with. We did the ceremony on the little patio area outside the reception area and it was perfect. I will say that it was a little hard to walk side by side with my dad down the aisle. Something I didn't think about. but it was still perfect. she was accommodating to schedules for tastings and just general views of the space when i needed another look. Her and her team were top-notch on the day of, keeping drinks flowing and the food was delicious. We needed to have a meal accommodated due to last-minute dietary needs and she was quick to make that happen with no issues. I would totally recommend having your wedding here. and with that a few extras for future brides/grooms. There isn't a space to change into or hide before the ceremony. we did first looks and even just hung out with everyone(all guests) for a few minutes before the ceremony. it was super fun and just a nice change of pace. Jen asked if I wanted to get everyone going to the ceremony seating area but I opted out. it took so much pressure off. we got married on October 15th and the weather was perfect, we were able to do photos on the dock with the sun still out. ( we got married around 430) we also didn't take photos immediately after. since the side is enclosed we just pulled groups during cocktail hour to take family photos. the sun was still high so it was perfect. Also make sure you have a dd because they make some really good drinks. :)

From the moment we stepped into the Lewes Room, we knew it was our venue! Of course, after a long year of tears and concerns while planning, Jenn made me feel at ease and treated both myself and my husband like family. Jenn and Chef Drew were amazing with my family's food intolerances as well. I just wish it didn't go by so quickly!! Thank you soooo much! 💗

My wedding turned out absolutely perfect!!! I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with to make my day so special. Jenn Brown goes above and beyond to make sure it’s perfect. My guests still keep talking about the prime rib and chicken Chesapeake.

We had chosen Irish Eyes for a couple of reasons. The view, the space, and the area. After 2 years of waiting and 3 reschedules, we were finally able to have our wedding. The staff were absolutely wonderful, from the planing to the actual event, with Jenn being responsive and accommodating. The food was really good as well. We chose the chicken cordon bleu and swai with crab imperial, both of which were delicious.

Where do I begin? Let’s start with the gorgeous views. Deciding to have our wedding and reception at Irish Eyes, Lewes was the best decision ever! The view alone affords unforgettable photographs. Jennifer Brown made the entire process super easy from beginning to end. The food was delicious. We suggest adding bacon wrapped scallops. Yum! This location alone is worth the price. Did I mention the view? Our guests enjoyed our celebration and we appreciated the affordable pricing. We chose to have a scaled back ceremony (due to Covid). The patio & banquet room is large enough to provide space for safety yet intimate enough that we all felt connected. The service staff were all very friendly and super helpful. Jenny Brown was very attentive throughout the day. She even kept me (bride) calm when relatives in the bridal party were “running late”. Irish Eyes, Lewes is the perfect venue if like me you want somewhere that feels like “outside” but affords protection from potential bad weather on your special day. I suggest nuptials on the patio prior to enjoying the reception. From what I hear from our photographer & guests a bridal walk up the back stairs and down the isle is simply breathe taking. Due to covid we called many venues and even considered a DIY backyard, tented ceremony. Don’t waste your time call Irish Eyes, Lewes today. You won’t be disappointed. Jenny Brown was responsive, comforting and attentive throughout the process. Did I mention the views?
