Jenn and team made our wedding absolutely perfect from our first tour of the venue to the wedding day! We were married on October 12th, 2025 during a Nor’Easter with high winds and flooding predicted- Jenn communicated with me and eased my anxiety so much! The planning process was simple with no hidden fees and easy payments, food was fabulous during tasting and on wedding day! Jenn and team were so helpful and professional on our wedding day- we could not be happier!! The venue is gorgeous and the excellent staff is the cherry on top!

Me and my wife's wedding was on Sunday June 9th 2024. Planning the whole experience was a bit overwhelming with price, timing, etc. But Jen was absolutely incredible! She helped us understand the different price points in an easily digestable way. The price was quite literally perfect for where we wanted to be and the payments easy to make. That was a major headache solved! Setting up the tasting and tour of the venue was really simple as well. Day of was simple and fun... and the food was great! We ended up picking the Shrimp and Crab pasta and the Ham. Everyone loved it at the wedding! Jen kept in contact throughout the process which helped us stay on track with planning. Once we booked our vendors... one of which she was very familiar with... it was so easy after that. The venue itself was plenty big enough for our small wedding of 50ish guests. But it could easily fit twice that. The views of the water were very nice. Jen was very flexiable with customizing how we wanted the set up to be. Loved the different assortment of linens made available. We went with black to match our black/burgundy colors. When it came time for us to decorate, it was easy to load everything inside... and easy to load out. They do have an elevator to help with this too. The ceremony space I really liked because it was bright and felt more intimate. They also provide an archway you can decorate which was awesome. The biggest sigh of relief was when we had an issue with our officiant being very late, one of the staff is licensed and can easily fill in... which we almost took them up on. But the fact they were willing to do that with a moments notice shows their dedication to making your wedding the best experience possible. I can't rave enough about how easy Jen and Irish Eyes made our experience to where we could actually enjoy our time together and with our guests. The price could easily be double for how great this was. Thank you Irish Eyes staff for giving us a very memorable special day!

Amazing staff, incredible food and totally affordable pricing! Jenn was quick to respond and easy to work with. All of her recommendations were top notch! Our friends and family had the best time at our wedding! Highly recommend Irish Eyes and Jenn!

This venue is absolutely amazing! The "wedding room" is beautiful, little decorations are needed, and the location is so pretty for photos. Also, the venue coordinator Jennifer was a dream to work with. I was just married here on 3/18/23, and couldn't have asked for a better outcome! For everything that you get, I think the price is more than reasonable and comparable to other venues.

We couldn't have picked a better place to get married for our small ceremony and reception. We had about 30 people and it was such a breeze working with Jen. She was very pleasant and fun to work with. We did the ceremony on the little patio area outside the reception area and it was perfect. I will say that it was a little hard to walk side by side with my dad down the aisle. Something I didn't think about. but it was still perfect. she was accommodating to schedules for tastings and just general views of the space when i needed another look. Her and her team were top-notch on the day of, keeping drinks flowing and the food was delicious. We needed to have a meal accommodated due to last-minute dietary needs and she was quick to make that happen with no issues. I would totally recommend having your wedding here. and with that a few extras for future brides/grooms. There isn't a space to change into or hide before the ceremony. we did first looks and even just hung out with everyone(all guests) for a few minutes before the ceremony. it was super fun and just a nice change of pace. Jen asked if I wanted to get everyone going to the ceremony seating area but I opted out. it took so much pressure off. we got married on October 15th and the weather was perfect, we were able to do photos on the dock with the sun still out. ( we got married around 430) we also didn't take photos immediately after. since the side is enclosed we just pulled groups during cocktail hour to take family photos. the sun was still high so it was perfect. Also make sure you have a dd because they make some really good drinks. :)

From the moment we stepped into the Lewes Room, we knew it was our venue! Of course, after a long year of tears and concerns while planning, Jenn made me feel at ease and treated both myself and my husband like family. Jenn and Chef Drew were amazing with my family's food intolerances as well. I just wish it didn't go by so quickly!! Thank you soooo much! 💗

My wedding turned out absolutely perfect!!! I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with to make my day so special. Jenn Brown goes above and beyond to make sure it’s perfect. My guests still keep talking about the prime rib and chicken Chesapeake.

We had chosen Irish Eyes for a couple of reasons. The view, the space, and the area. After 2 years of waiting and 3 reschedules, we were finally able to have our wedding. The staff were absolutely wonderful, from the planing to the actual event, with Jenn being responsive and accommodating. The food was really good as well. We chose the chicken cordon bleu and swai with crab imperial, both of which were delicious.

Where do I begin? Let’s start with the gorgeous views. Deciding to have our wedding and reception at Irish Eyes, Lewes was the best decision ever! The view alone affords unforgettable photographs. Jennifer Brown made the entire process super easy from beginning to end. The food was delicious. We suggest adding bacon wrapped scallops. Yum! This location alone is worth the price. Did I mention the view? Our guests enjoyed our celebration and we appreciated the affordable pricing. We chose to have a scaled back ceremony (due to Covid). The patio & banquet room is large enough to provide space for safety yet intimate enough that we all felt connected. The service staff were all very friendly and super helpful. Jenny Brown was very attentive throughout the day. She even kept me (bride) calm when relatives in the bridal party were “running late”. Irish Eyes, Lewes is the perfect venue if like me you want somewhere that feels like “outside” but affords protection from potential bad weather on your special day. I suggest nuptials on the patio prior to enjoying the reception. From what I hear from our photographer & guests a bridal walk up the back stairs and down the isle is simply breathe taking. Due to covid we called many venues and even considered a DIY backyard, tented ceremony. Don’t waste your time call Irish Eyes, Lewes today. You won’t be disappointed. Jenny Brown was responsive, comforting and attentive throughout the process. Did I mention the views?

My husband and I got married at Irish Eyes the first weekend of September and I cannot thank Jenny & the staff enough for everything they did to make our day perfect! Jen was beyond accommodating, letting us come in the night before to decorate - which you can imagine took a huge weight off my shoulders! She was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend choosing Irish Eyes for your big day, they will not disappoint :)

Such a nice wedding venue put together for us I. A matter of a few days!! Had a great experience and well worth the price! Food and drinks were great and space is very pretty!

We just had our wedding this past Saturday, 6/15/19 at the The Lewes Room at Irish Eyes! Perfect doesn’t cover how amazing it was!!! We had approximately 150 guests and a cocktail style reception. All the guests raved about the food , venue and staff!! We got married on the deck on a picture perfect night overlooking the canal . Jeff Neitzelt, the new wedding coordinator, made sure every detail was taken care of and that our day was stress free and perfect!! I can’t say enough good things about everyone at Irish Eyes !! If you are considering getting married at a Delaware Beach , do yourself a favor and check out this venue!!!

Sami & Bob were very accommodating. The experience couldn't have been more perfect. The layout of the room was perfect and the view of the waterway from the outdoor deck just added to the ambience. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor experience. We would definitely use Irish Eyes again for any future events.

I had my wedding this past September at Irish Eyes and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Sami and Bob were extremely helpful, easy to work with and always got back to us in a timely matter with any questions or concerns. The room is gorgeous and the deck was the perfect setting for our guests to sit with a drink by the water. Once our reception was over, our guests loved being able to continue the party downstairs at the bar. The best part was we were able to have our dream wedding at the beach for a much more reasonable price than other venues. I would absolutely recommend Irish Eyes to any bride looking for a beautiful venue by the water without breaking your budget!

We were married in July, 2018 and had both our ceremony and reception at the Lewes Room at Irish Eyes. Both Sami Ferringer and Bob Cirelli were amazing to work with. They were very responsive during the planning stages leading up to the big day, and attentive during the event itself. The venue is beautiful with a large deck overlooking the canal in Lewes and the food was delicious. We had lots of compliments from all of our friends and family. We highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding, ceremony and reception, in the Lewes Room at Irish Eyes. While it was raining that day, it was all sunny skies for us and our guests. Everything and everyone was spectacular! Our ceremony was held outside and no one got wet. The reception was held in the beautiful room that we were able to decorate ourselves and create the perfect ambience for our day. Sami was so helpful and easy to work with. Bob and the kitchen and waitstaff were incredible as well. And the food...it was delicious!!! Everyone raved about the Rosemary Chicken and the Swai and Crab Imperial selection. It truly was the most perfect day and Irish Eyes made it possible!

Banquet staff was great. Planning was easy, food was delicious, and the view is amazing. Dance floor, bar, and plenty of room.

The Lewes room was absolutely amazing with every aspect of our wedding. We had our reception there and everyone still talks about how perfect it was. Sami was an absolute saint as she helped me before and during the wedding. It all went perfectly because of her and her amazing staff. Bob did a great job in the kitchen too. The food was phenomenal. If you’re looking for a venue in Lewes, this is the one.

When my husband and I got engaged, I knew immediately that Irish Eyes was where we wanted our wedding reception. The Lewes Room at Irish Eyes was the perfect space for us. Sami and Bob made planning our big day a breeze. They answered all of our questions and had fast responses to everything that we needed. You cannot beat the view of this venue. They let us decorate the room however we wanted to. The staff on our wedding night were incredibly helpful and fun to work with. All of our guests loved the food and there was plenty to go around. I promise you will not regret having your wedding reception here!

Sami was very helpful the day of our wedding and even added her own bright flowers to some of my not so colorful table arrangements! (Thank you) Bob's food was amazing. Everything tasted delicious, our favorite was the rockfish w/ lump crab and sun-dried tomato sauce and the risotto. The whole night was perfect thanks to both of them and all the staff. We had our wedding reception here in the Lewes Room. It was absolutely amazing and everything went perfect! Sami was such an amazing help and was always available to answer my questions and offer suggestions. The food prepared by Bob was delicious and all of our guests raved about it!

The setting alone (especially at sunset) could earn Irish Eyes 5 stars! The food was delicious! The staff helpful and professional. Very flexible and accommodating!

The Lewes Room at Irish Eyes is a fantastic venue for a wedding reception. Their event and catering staff are extraordinary. We needed two more batteries for a candle at our sweetheart table, and Sami drove out to a convenience store and got 2 AA batteries for us! Bob, the head chef created food that was out of this world. When guests talk to us about our wedding~ their first remark was on how great Irish Eyes was. The food, service, view of the sunset on the canal. Worth every penny! A+++++

Our wedding was perfect and Sami and Bob were so helpful during the planning process! It never seemed like my questions were a bother and everything came together perfectly on Saturday for my wedding! I asked tons of questions and they were always quick to respond within a few hours or the next day. Our ceremony on the deck was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. On our way to the restaurant it started to rain - our original plan was to use the stairs to enter the deck but with the weather we switched it to the indoor stairs and they put the flaps down on the deck so that our guests couldn’t see us inside until we entered. It was a quick change and still worked out and went smoothly. The food was great - we did the pasta buffet with sausage and scallops, and it was delicious. If you’re looking for a venue in the Lewes or Rehoboth area - this is it!

Chef Bob and Sami did an amazing job at our wedding this St.Patrick's Day. Chef Bob was so accommodating with our menu and cocktail style reception and making custom appetizers to incorporate Irish cuisine. Sami was fabulous at always being quick to response and had great suggestions and ideas. I couldn't be more happy with the way everything turned out and didn't have to worry about anything! Thank you guys sooooo much, we loved it!!!!

We planned my daughter’s wedding at the Lewes Room from across the country, and with Bob and Sami’s constant help, the wedding was perfect! From the bows on the chairs to the Bubble sendoff and all the delicious food inbetween, the event was a dream come true!

Everything was perfect. The food was great and bar service was really helpful with our event. Thank you again!

October 28th 2017 my husband and I held our revow ceremony and reception in the Lewes Banquet Room, and they exceeded our expectations. The team of Bob and Sami are absolutely amazing. At the last moment I chose to move our ceremony from the deck to inside the banquet room, due to the number of guest and length of the ceremony. Sami took all of my craziness in stride and everything was perfect. My compliments to Bob for an amazing dinner buffet, the food was awesome.

CANNOT go wrong with them! Affordable and AMAZING! We had a 100% perfect experience with them for our wedding! We picked it for the great price and waterfront views, but fell in love with their banquet staff, time spent to help us, their flexibility in our food, bar, and outside dessert choices, and of course their food! WOW we had great food on our honeymoon but nothing topped the steak tenders and swai entrees we had served at our wedding. Thank you!

The food was so amazing! The staff was helpful and everything ran smoothly. It was a great choice for our wedding, we had our ceremony upstairs on the balcony. It overlooked the canal so we had a nice view for pictures and guests. We put our photo booth out there after the ceremony and all our guests were able to go out there.

My wedding is a year out and we were quick to book with Irish Eyes. The Banquet Manager, Amanda and Catering Manager, Bob have been an invaluable help in planning our wedding out of town. They have been quick to answer questions and offer advice and after all of my research I believe Irish Eyes has the most flexible menu and pricing for a beach wedding.

Irish Eyes was the perfect reception spot for our wedding on May 10! I cannot say enough good things about Bob Cirelli who is the banquet chef and helped coordinate so many details for our big day. He went above and beyond to make our day special and my husband, Drew, and I will always be grateful! The food and cake along with cupcakes were delicious, our guests happy, and the Lewes Room beautiful. Drew and I were thrilled with it all and we thank Bob and his staff for helping us have an incredible wedding day!!!

My husband and I got married at Irish eyes in November 2013. Planning a wedding with Jesse and Bob was the best way I could have gone. We had almost all of our guests traveling from out of state, and Jesse and Bob we more than I could have asked for. The menu was absolutely delicious (steak tenders and mahi mahi, with ratatouille and red potatoes). We were able to select a few items off the banquet hall option to try, and it was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. Everything was so good. Guests RAVED about the food all night.
The hall fit all of our guests comfortably, the only unfortunate item was the size of the dance floor - most of us were dancing around the tables...but we made it work. Less tables would have been less guests (we had 128).
The pricing was absolutely perfect for what was included.
Jesse was so helpful as far as emailing me back and forth, getting items together, making seating charts. I was amazed how beautiful everything looked when I came in the day of the wedding.
Obviously, every bride thinks her weddin was the best wedding...but ours really was :) I HIGHLY recommend Irish Eyes for any wedding or banquet event!

Our wedding day was AMAZING and everything that we had hoped it would be thanks to Bob Cierelli, Jesse and their supporting staff! Planning with them was so easy from the beginning. I am so glad that we selected Irish Eyes to celebrate our marriage. The food was fabulous and hot! We had steak tenders and baked salmon as the main entrees. They have a great menu selection. The venue is gorgeous (and we sure lucked out w/a gorgeous sunset to accompany the venue). Jesse did a fabulous job finishing off the room decorating, and not once did I feel anxious or stressed the entire day! This is one happy bride!

Jesse and Bob at Irish Eyes were AMAZING! The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and Jesse really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the best venue for the best value!

Irish eyes exceeded every expectation I had and I could not be more happy with how it turned out!! Jesse and Bob were fantastic to work with and Jesse made the upstairs and the outside deck area truly beautiful and used the materials I had to make the venue unique and beautiful for our wedding. The food was fantastic, the service was great and I received sooooo many compliments on my choice of venue. Everything was a breeze and they were great with my budget. I would recommend them whole heartedly for anyone looking for a wedding venue. I was especially impressed with how they transformed the deck space for the ceremony.

I was trying to plan a beach wedding for august and just as I was giving up as impossible unless you have tons of money I came across Irish Eyes. They had just reopened after rebuilding their restaurant. They have a beautiful banquet room upstairs with a large deck overlooking the inlet where all the boats come in and out of the channel. The food turned out great and the staff did everything they could to make the event great. The head chef came up at the end of the night to personally find out how everything was. The banquet cordinator, Emily, was the second one i worked with there. The first I did not care for much, but Emily was awesome. She called me back everytime I called and emailed me any information I requested. They were very willing to alter packages to what I wanted and could afford. I am very glad I was able to find the restaurant. There were also several hotels nearby for out of town guests and that was very convient.

Amanda and Bob were a pleasure to work with. Despite the Hurricane, Nor'easter storm and loss of power, they were both very accommodating to last minute changes and switches with Ceremony location. As a bride during these chaos moments they were nothing but positive and willing to make my day as amazing as they could. Venue turned out to be absolutely perfect and our guests had a lovely time. Amanda was very helpful with the planning process and made everything a breeze and very easy to deal with. Bob did a fabulous job with the tasting and the night of the wedding the food was outstanding. All of our guests were very happy with the food and the quality of service and the attention the venue personnel gave to our guests. I would highly recommend booking this venue for a perfect location on the canal, with great service.

Irish eyes was the perfect venue. The view from the deck was out of this world. Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the venue, service and food were. They were willing to work with us to make the day extra special.

Sami at Irish Eyes has been the most patient and the most thorough person I could have asked for! She’s experienced in the venue and how to work well with however to contact her!
She takes responsibility and initiative to create a contract that is easy to read and color coats everything that has been changed or updated from the previous!

Sami was awesome to work with! She was very responsive and accommodating. The only complaint we had is we ran out out of several appetizers that we offered within a hour of reception. The count per appetizers were off basrs on on final count so severwl guests did not receive all the food selections.

We had our ceremony on the balcony and reception inside at Irish Eyes. They provided the catering as well. Amanda and Bob were very accommodating for our needs, but were somewhat difficult to get ahold of during the busy summer months. The food was great, the reception hall was well laid out and well lit. We had access to the balcony throughout the night, which allowed our guests to enjoy the sunset over the canal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they took care of all of the cleaning up following the reception. We would highly recommend going with them, as they are a very budget friendly option.

Disappointed! Jenn, the banquet manager/coordinator (who was great at selling our wedding) didn't coordinate anything the day of. In fact, I had to call her 2 weeks before the wedding to make the final payment and confirm. She was MIA when needed. Instead, she was bartending. Thankfully my photographer helped coordinate and communicate with the DJ. I don't understand what the purpose of filling out paperwork for a wedding itinerary was for because there was none. No help or coordination. She said she would be there the day of especially for the ceremony and when we arrived she wasn't there. She never greeted us that day or went over anything. We(the bridal party) were standing outside of the deck waiting a while to go into the ceremony. And then after the ceremony, We (Bride, groom, and bridal party) waited at the top of the staircase inside to be announced into the reception for over 20 minutes (meanwhile we were losing that paid time with my photographer). Luckily the photographer was nice and communicated back and forth with the DJ to try to get things rolling for us. And, we hate to even say this, but her professional appearance was very inappropriate for a wedding. We had several guests complain about her being rude or giving an attitude. We had no service! We even had to serve ourselves at the buffet. (Which when we finally got to eat there were no crackers or bread for the crab dip). There were no plates or silverware at our dessert table, and we had to stand and wait and wait a while to cut our cake. My husband had to go to the bar to ask for them. Our tables were never cleared and the food sat on the table for the entire night. Even the waters (which were supposed to be set up on the tables) were self serve on a side table with a pitcher and glasses just stacked. No server came to our table all night and Jenn only checked on us once the entire time. We requested a champagne toast and I was never even served any champagne for that toast. There was a server that assisted with handing out champagne and she actually dropped a full tray over and spilled the champagne on my husbands lap (which we were still charged for!). The food was not what we agreed upon at the tasting. I mentioned this to Jenn and she told me that there was a new chef. If this was the case, then why weren't we notified? The food is prepared and cooked differently. We should have been offered another tasting. The chicken that we were served was not chicken cordon bleu! It was unappetizing, did not look or taste as agreed, and no where near the quality that we had for our initial tasting. The bar service was a major issue! Not only did my husband see Jenn top off the Don Julio with a different bottle. But, we had 4 different guests complain that their drinks tasted watered down, or even after 4 drinks still didn't even have a buzz! My Father in law had 1 bullet bourbon and the bottle ran out and they never refilled it as requested. The prices of the drinks that we were charged were significantly higher than what was advertised during our meeting. And, we understand prices are subject to change but not $4-5 dollars higher per drink! There was a major miscommunication with our bar tab. Jenn let me know once we were approaching our soft limit, we let her know we were going to close out at $700 and once we hit that a friend opened the bar for the last hour. This was communicated immediately. But yet, somehow guests were charged for drinks and that should've never happened! We're wondering, Is Jenn Brown ABC certified? The 35% service charge is supposed to be for service and the use of dinnerware, etc., correct? (that is what is stated in the contract anyway). We feel as if this fee is completely unreasonable given these circumstances. this was supposed to be our "big day" instead we were extremely disappointed. We still made the best out of it though.
