Restaurant Wedding Venues in Delaware

Jenn and team made our wedding absolutely perfect from our first tour of the venue to the wedding day! We were married on October 12th, 2025 during a Nor’Easter with high winds and flooding predicted- Jenn communicated with me and eased my anxiety so much! The planning process was simple with no hidden fees and easy payments, food was fabulous during tasting and on wedding day! Jenn and team were so helpful and professional on our wedding day- we could not be happier!! The venue is gorgeous and the excellent staff is the cherry on top!

We had our small wedding at Good Earth and absolutely loved and enjoyed every second of it! Sue and the staff went over and beyond and made our wedding day absolutely gorgeous and sincerely grounded. From the ambiance to the food, everything was perfect - our guests were pleasantly floored. Good Earth will always have a special place in our hearts.

I chose to have my reception at Crabby Dick's in Delaware City because they are supportive of the Diamond State Base Ball Club. My husband is a member of the vintage base ball club and we had eaten at Crabby Dick's before. It was to be a very small wedding, about 60 guests, and Crabby Dick's did their best to work with us. The food was out of this world, and the service was sterling. It was like they had hosted weddings all along, but we were their first. Keep in mind, the venue is small, and is good for a themed wedding or an informal one.

If your looking for a great reception venue on a budget, then this is your place! Not only is it beautiful inside, it is also plain enugh for your own decor to really stand out. Not to mention, we also got a water front view for pics right outside the patio (that they block off off for private use). Rick,, the general manager, was great to work with. He was able to really help us set a time line for our wedding. We were also able to drop off a lot of decor items the day before for their awesome staff to set up. On the day of, my "crew" was ale to get in early and help the wait staff set everything else up. Rick was also great at coordinating times with my photograher and DJ so that everythg went smoothly. One of the most important things for our wedding was great food...and we definitely got it. Everything from the cocktail hour to dinner was fantastic! Fraizer's staff was also very courteous and polite to all our guests and did everything to make our night special. Again, if your looking for great food, great location, photogenic location all at a great price then look no more, Fraizers is your place!

I was a bit nervous about having our reception here. They'd never done a wedding reception before. The space was tight, but they pulled it off with flying colors. The food was awesome, and staff couldn't have done anything more to have pleased all the guests. Though the space was tight for the amount of people and seating area, the staff moved throughout with ease, leaving the guests to enjoy their meal. My husband and I couldn't be happier for the care and service during our reception. Absolutely loved it!

We felt like there were only a handful of caterers in our area (Georgetown, DE) and were getting discouraged with the quality of food for the price....that's when we found Abbott's! They were able to work within our budget and give us more than we hoped for! We decided to go with a station buffet option which was perfect because is cut down on the lines while providing a wide variety of food. I would recommend trying their turkey dinner. I wasn't excited about it since it seemed simple but Abbott's took it to a new level....we could eat that for dinner everyday. They were extremely accommodating to our guests that had restrictive diets or food allergies. Rachel was always so kind, professional, and responsive which made the process much easier. All of our guests raved about the food and desserts! I would highly recommend Abbott's to anyone in need of a caterer.

The restaurant has awesome food and a beautiful setting, we also got engaged there. We later found out that people hold weddings there and afterwards the reception. This sold us as our mothers have a difficult time getting around! How easy is it to have the ceremony and then go to a personal room for our party and then sit and eat. We made an appointment and the young lady who met with us was very professional and helpful. The only thing we didn't think about when chosing our appitizer trays for the meal was asking the price, our mistake since it was an afterthought. While we were there there was another reception for about 100 people and they all had ample room and looked like they were having fun. We picked Memorial Day weekend so business was slow when we got there so this worked in our favor. We only had one waitress at the start and things were going a little too slow for us, but after a while, she got help and things went much smoother. If you are having a personal small ceremony as we did (12 people) this was great!

I love this place. The food is always delicious and our wedding was no exception. The chef is creative and super flexible with his menu and you can create whatever you want. The quality far exceeds the costs. We received a Martha Vineyards experience with a House Party budget. The planner could have been a more effective communicator, but I'm a super chill person when it comes to those things. However this probably would have made others panic. Overall, for intimate occasions this is the place to have your event. Possibilities are Endless!!

Papi's Tacos was so easy to work with! They are extremely responsive over email and it was easy to make changes to our order. They have great gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at the wedding. They jumped in and helped serve beer and wine behind our DIY bar when it was not in their job description! They checked in on us multiple times that night and asked if we needed anything. Everyone said the food was great and we had so much left over afterwards. I would recommend working with them to anyone.
