Perfection
Absolutely Perfect
Alyssa was so great to work with when first booking the Icona and so very accommodating. I can't say enough good things about Ashley and all that she did for us. She was so supportive in our planning and made our wedding vision come true. She was so sweet and helpful, and set it all up beautifully!
The reception was even better than we could have imagined. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious! All of our guests were raving about the meal. I must say, we were surprised at the quality of the food, and the fact that every single filet was cooked perfectly. That would be hard to do for most places, so big kudos to the kitchen!
Later in the evening we had a reserved fire pit and cabana and it was so much fun!
The hotel itself is beautiful, and all of the staff were wonderful. We even extended our stay we enjoyed it so much!
It was difficult switching gears on our wedding plans with Covid, but they truly made this truly a dream wedding, and we are so thankful. I would 100% recommend an Icona wedding to anyone, and we cannot wait to return for a weekend stay at the gorgeous hotel.

Perfect right-on-the-beach beautiful location for your wedding, reception & very pretty guest accommodations all in one! I have performed ceremony music for many beach weddings (and some winter indoor events) there at the Golden Inn - and with the addition of the ICONA brand of guest services & updates...it's great. Definitely worth meeting with their staff about your wedding. Nice seamless venue, guest can bike, beach it, visit the CMCo Zoo, swim in salt or fresh water, and go fishing, walking, shopping. I love that with enough planning, everyone can stay on property <3 & the ceremony and reception are right there together. (Very close to many 7 Mile Beach churches as well, of course) I also have wonderful childhood memories of staying at the (Icona) Golden Inn.
