Starshield Entertainment Group is a Event Entertainment company based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey and serving NJ and surrounding area. DJ Rich and his team will infuse your wedding ceremony and reception with the same passion they have for creating fun and entertaining weddings.

Our mission: Plan with you, entertain your guests and lead your event forward appropriately, professionally and in an entertaining manner!
What to expect:
Couples hosting both small or large weddings can have Starshield Entertainment Group entertain them and their guests on their special day. Each couple will be met with before the wedding day to create a music and entertainment plan. They will have access to their W2 internally managed Emcee anytime they would like to chat with them and with the online planning tool they can access design services for photobooths or other artwork, plan timelines, music and special formal moments and even connect with staff and keep each other informed of all details.
We also coordinate with your other vendors and call your venue to take some stress off of you! We want you to feel comfortable and led through this process while our job is to listen and help you plan. Each wedding is different and we want to plan with you in order to make your wedding a succes.
As a full-service company, you can add on a variety of other services, such as photobooths, lighting and effects to make your wedding day celebration complete.

Valentine's Day Wedding
For our music, we got exactly what we wanted for our special night and that was a dance party! The team at Starshield had everyone up and dancing the entire reception. We received so many compliments about the music and the Starshield team- Austin was our DJ and he was killing it all night with the mixes and song selections, Rich, our lead Emcee and Derek, our second Emcee, were amazing and on-point with interacting with our guests, to the point where Derek was out on the dancefloor hyping us all up and a ton of fun! We were also lucky to have Anjel, who was doing content creation throughout the night, was very fun and interactive.
Overall, the Starshield team was incredible to work with, their pricing reasonable and they were so communicative/organized for which we appreciated very much. We are so grateful for all that they did for us to make our wedding incredibly and memorable We would highly recommend Starshield to anyone!

In addition, Angel (who is one of their social media specialists) absolutely went above and beyond for us during the ceremony. I had asked the photographers to set up my personal camera on a tripod to record the ceremony, as we did not want a videographer all night but wanted to record the ceremony. I was later told that the camera would not work right as the ceremony was about the begin, and without hesitation, Angel jumped in and recorded the entire thing for us on his phone! That was so incredibly kind of him, and I cannot thank him enough!

Their ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high was incredible. They seamlessly transitioned between different genres of music, ensuring that everyone had a chance to enjoy their favorite songs. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the atmosphere was electric.
What truly set Rich and Austin apart was their genuine care and attention to detail. They took the time to get to know us and our guests, making everyone feel special and included. They were always available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Rich and Austin were incredibly communicative and supportive. They frequently checked in with us to make sure that everything was on track and that we were happy with the plans. Even on the night of the wedding, they continued to check in with us to ensure that we were having a great time and that everything was running smoothly.
We cannot thank Rich and Austin enough for their outstanding performance. They are truly talented and dedicated professionals who made our wedding a night to remember. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional DJ and emcee duo.
