Facilities and Capacity
The Sterling Ballroom went through a major renovation in early 2023. The spacious new ballroom adds a more modern look and feel to your special day. They can accommodate a large number of guests in their banquet hall and hotel. A private room for the bridal party during the cocktail hour is available, as well as a bridal suite. Allison McCarthy, Catering Sales Director of the Sterling Ballroom at the DoubleTree Tinton Falls, NJ. Allison graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Sociology. She originally planned to become a teacher, but fell in love with the hospitality industry thanks to a summer job at the top resort in North Myrtle Beach. Allison has worked as a Front Office Supervisor, Room Sales and Catering Coordinator, Convention Services Manager, Assistant General Manager, and more, including recently earning her real estate license. Allison first joined the Hotels Unlimited team in Spring 2017. Why does she love her job? Allison loves meeting new people and spreading the word about our hotel and banquet offerings far and wide. She says that the staff here is great and appreciates that everyone is always happy to pitch in and share their expertise to help make every day and every event spectacular.
Nemorio “Nemo” Rincon, Banquet Manager of the Sterling Ballroom at the DoubleTree Tinton Falls, NJ. When you read our amazing reviews, it’s hard to avoid Nemo’s name. As Banquet Manager at the DoubleTree Tinton Falls and the Sterling Ballroom for over five years, Nemo Rincon has played a huge role in making sure all of our weddings are put together perfectly. “I want to make sure our couples have everything they could ever need on their wedding day. Brooke Gordon, General Manager at the DoubleTree Tinton Falls, NJ. Brooke has been with the company since 2006, and has made a huge impact in every role she’s been in. She started as a front desk agent and worked her way up through being room sales coordinator, catering sales director and ultimately ending up as GM of the DoubleTree. She understands all of the logistics and processes of catering sales because of her time spent there, and loves to help out the catering team when she can. Her favorite part about her job is being able to please the guests. She says, “It’s a great feeling when you can create a special moment, big or small, for our guests.” Her biggest strength is her patience. Brooke says that patience is key in the hospitality industry and she knows that along with patience comes a much deserved success and happiness for brides, grooms, and catering staff alike.
