The team at Rebecca Rose Events is extraordinary. My daughter was married in Western NC (Highlands, NC) the day after Hurricane Helene struck the region in Sept 2024. We had no power, no communication ability, no tent (it was crushed), no band, no photographer, no videography, only 1/3 of the guests....and we were trapped in a rural lodge by multiple fallen trees and power lines. What we DID have was Betsy and her amazing RRE team. They created peace and beauty for our traumatized family and friends and the wedding went on! The fallen trees were moved by the groom and groomsmen. RRE did the rest. As the mother of the bride, I will always be appreciative for Betsy who persevered beyond anything we could have imagined. They pivoted and created a rehearsal dinner using whatever a local restaurant had in their freezer (that food was cooked in a van's mobile kitchen). They found votive candles to light tables. On Saturday, they figured out how we could use a different part of the wedding venue for the ceremony and the reception....and provided beautiful flowers and linens. As I walked down the aisle, I looked around and marveled at what beauty RRE had created. What partners they are with the families they work with! We are forever grateful.

We had the opportunity of hosting one of Shaunda's styled shoots and it was absolutely STUNNING! Her creativity, boldness, and passion shine through her work. She has a talent for thinking outside the box and designing "wow factors" to make every event unique. She is a joy to work with and truly has an open heart to all. Cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend Taneka and It's My Day Special Events and cannot say enough good things about our experience working with both. My daughter and I decided to plan her wedding ourselves for budgetary reasons and because we had some special family considerations. At the same time, we accurately predicted that we would need to be able to turn things over to a professional for the wedding day in order to really enjoy the ceremony, festivities, and sweet moments of the day with the special people surrounding us--whether they be lifelong loved ones we wanted to honor and celebrate (and dance with!) or the groom's family and friends that we wanted to have the time and attention to enjoy weaving into our family circle that day. Taneka made all this possible and more! She was there to answer questions leading up to the wedding and in taking over confirmations and delivery scheduling before the big day so that my daughter and I could focus on all the crazy last minutes plus packing for wedding and honeymoon needs and travel. Taneka also made it possible for me, as Mother of the Bride, to fully enjoy the wedding day! She took all of my daughter's visions and made them happen while we were gifted time to dive into getting ready and enjoying time with each other and dear friends and family. Unpredictably, there was an issue with the photography site and Taneka swooped in and helped resolve the matter before it negatively impacted the couple's first look and photo shoot together and with their wedding party. Taneka is a talented, experienced, and practical professional who will work on your behalf and add to the beauty and fun or your wedding day. Three generations of family members on both sides of our family wedding are so thankful we used Taneka and It's My Day Special Events. Thank you, thank you, Taneka, for the truly beautiful time we all had!

Katharine made our wedding weekend incredible from start to finish. She has such a calming, joyful presence while still keeping everyone in line and making sure that every detail is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with her team - their design ideas made the event so beautiful, the timeline had everything run smoothly, and their vendor recommendations/coordination were spot on. I gladly planned to give my sister a garden wedding at my home. I did not gladly plan to break my hip a few months prior. While I could, by phone, contact many of the vendors I had chosen for food and tables, I realized that I needed some assistance. I contacted my best friend to get a recommendation for a wedding planner. She gave me Hannah’s name as one of her daughter’s best friends. At the age of 65, I guess I do want to know something about the character, capabilities and reliability of someone before I hire her. Hannah met with me a few weeks prior to the event and reviewed my thoughts of a “plan” and was quickly able to make suggestions for changes. She is well versed in knowing the space needed between tables and the ebb and flow of guests at an event. She was able to articulate the reasoning behind her changes. She also made recommendations about the placement of the food and the bar both inside and out. This knowledge actually saved me some money. On the day of the event, she came early morning to supervise the set-up and even pitched in with the friends I had decorating the arbor and the lattice fences. She supervised the “setting” of the wedding cake. She has a very quiet and authoritative manner about her. All went off without a hitch. My now brother-in-law said it was the best wedding he had ever attended and he was glad it was his!

I am so glad that I chose Blush and Grace Events as our wedding planning service! From the first moment of contact, it was clear that our wedding planner, Ashley, was in our corner and dedicated to making our visions come to life! She made the planning process so much easier for me and helped me to organize everything, from start to finish. She thought of even the smallest of details that made our day so magical. On the day of our wedding, there were some issues that popped up with other vendors and services, and Ashley took care of it all, making sure that I was relaxed and focused on getting married. I couldn’t be more thankful for Ashley and all of her support through this entire process.
