Historic Wedding Venues in Kansas City

We toured many venues, and kept coming back to the Madrid as our number one choice. Missy was so personable, took the time to get to know us, and made us feel so at ease. To be honest, even if the venue wasn't as great as it is, we would have considered booking anyways just because of her! Thankfully it was the full package, awesome venue and fabulous staff! I can't imagine our big day anywhere else!

The Midland is, without a doubt, one of the best venues we’ve ever worked with. The standout feature? The incredible staff. Kayla, the Event Operations Manager (and truly a master of her craft), made the entire experience seamless. She’s kind, knowledgeable, organized, and always quick to respond to questions or emails. Kayla’s expertise and familiarity with the venue were invaluable throughout both the planning process and the wedding day. As for the venue itself—breathtaking. Its beauty speaks for itself, requiring little to no extra decor, though it can easily accommodate more elaborate designs. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning it was all night!

This venue is amazing-- it's historic with so many unique details (freight elevator, bank vault, brick everywhere). The venue event manager, Brett, was awesome to work with. He was super responsive, let us tour on very short notice, and answered all of my questions. The best part of the venue is the use of the bridge in front of it which we did do for our ceremony. Another great thing is that they have TONS (I mean multiple floors worth) of decor options. Every vase and sign at our wedding was from them. This saved a ton of money. They even have arbors, uplighting, chargers, it's awesome. I could not recommend this venue enough. There's so much history behind the venue itself and all of my guests loved it.

I love The Martin Event Space! Rachel, is so bubbly, friendly and very accommodating. I had the opportunity to officiate a wedding at this venue and everything was pristine. From the rehearsal to the reception, it went smoothly. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere, openness and history of this place. Kudos for the amazing in house sound system as well! I can’t wait to officiate another wedding at this venue!

I highly recommend booking The Grand Hall for your wedding! The team there was so helpful leading up to the day and they made sure everything went perfectly. It was the perfect amount of space for our 250 guests and we got a ton of comments during and after the event from our guests raving about the beauty of the place and how perfectly set up it was. I am so happy that this was the venue for our big day!

Everything was exactly how I imagined it and more! Chris was easy to work with during the planning process and everything was PERFECT the day of!!!

We had our wedding here a month ago and we loved it, we were worried about decoration and how things were going to set up, but it turned out so good, someone is there all day to make we were doing okay, definitely recommend!
