Oliver Building

The Oliver is such a beautiful building and the staff was amazing! My wedding couldn’t have gone smoother. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, answered any questions I had, and very organized!
Coordinators were responsive and organized, venue was clean and suites were beautiful and easy to get ready in.
We got endless compliments on the venue and how friendly the staff was.

The Oliver Building is an exceptional wedding venue that exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, the owner, staff, and venue coordinators were incredibly communicative and dedicated to making our day absolutely perfect. Their professionalism and support made the planning process seamless and stress-free. The Oliver Building is simply breathtaking. Its architectural beauty requires minimal decor — every detail enhances the elegant ambiance rather than needing to transform it. I’ve yet to come across a more picturesque venue in Kansas City.

My daughter had to convince me to use the Oliver for her wedding, but I’m so glad she did! The facility itself, the time of access we had, and the responsiveness of the staff were wonderful! Caitlyn and her crew are ate best and I would highly recommend them to anyone booking a wedding venue in Kansas City

First off I’d like to say the Oliver building is a fantastic venue for your special day or for a party. Caitlin and her staff did a magnificent job with helping alleviate stress for our wedding. At first glance the price seemed high but after looking at other locations the price ended up being the best value. We had a sort of makeshift destination wedding for our families. We had the venue from Friday at 12 pm which gave us ample amount of time to setup for the ceremony on Saturday, we staged a table to show Caitlin and her staff how we wanted the dinner tables organized. Then when Saturday rolled around Caitlin took charge of making sure the vendors came in and everything went fluid. After the party was over we still had the building the next day to go pick up our decorations grab the leftover food and drinks instead of rushing to get everything packed up like most other venues do in KC

If you’re looking for a venue, look no further. This is the most beautiful building that’s ever been built, and the perfect size for moderate to large weddings. Not only is the venue itself stunning, but Caitlin and the team were instrumental in the planning and execution of the wedding itself. You could not ask for more kind and helpful staff. The best decision we made wedding planning was picking this venue.

The Oliver was the best venue! It was unique that we got the venue for 48 hours so that made the weekend a lot less stressful! The Oliver is BEAUTIFUL and had so many amazing photo spots! The staff was absolutely AMAZING and so willing and quick to help! Could not recommend The Oliver more for a wedding!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Oliver Building and I can't recommend it enough. Curtis, Caitlin, and the entire team were a delight to work with. They make everything super easy and we got compliments from many of our guests about how beautiful the venue is. They continue to make improvements to the venue and event services, but even without those, it would be a five star experience. I love that the team is more concerned about your experience than profit, and they genuinely care about you and your guests. This is a must-see venue, and perfect for any event!

I would pick this venue over and over again, from the unique and beautiful space to the west bottom vibes it made our wedding the best day ever. It has the best photo opportunities everywhere in the building and outside. We cant thank Caitlin, Curtis, and the entire staff for making the experience from start to finish for our wedding go smoothly and perfect.

The Oliver Building is a hidden gem in Kansas City. We cannot recommend this venue enough! We had our wedding there 10/9/21 and it was everything we could have asked for. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your day is amazing. Steve, Caitlin and Curtis were life savers and you could not ask for kinder people to work with. In our pre-wedding planning meetings they covered every detail we could think of. On the day of our wedding, I've never seen people work harder than Caitlin and Curtis. They are true rockstars and genuinely care about their couples. 
The Oliver not only offers 3 floors of usable space, but bride, groom & family suites. We've had the opportunity to be in a few wedding parties at the Oliver and you cannot beat the amount of space you have to get ready, the spacious cocktail hour area, or the 2nd floor reception area. Over the past year they've done many updates to the building including refinishing the floors, painting and redecorating the suites. 
We're so glad we chose the Oliver Building for our wedding and the day wouldn't have been possible without their amazing staff. 

I absolutely loved this venue for our daughter's wedding. It was simply gorgeous! Decorations were minimal because we didn't want to detract from the character of this exquisite place.
A big shout out to Caitlin, Curtis and the team, who made the entire process so easy. One of the biggest bonuses (to me) of this location was the availability of the space from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. It made our jobs so much easier with decoration and removal. Not having to worry about anything the night of the wedding was priceless.
