Located in the heart of Kansas City’s historic West Bottoms district, the Oliver Building is a truly unique venue for your special day. With over 30,000 square feet spread across three restored floors of an 1880s industrial landmark, our space combines timeless charm with modern amenities, creating the perfect backdrop for your celebration.
As a family owned and operated venue, we take pride in providing attentive and personalized service. From your first visit to your wedding day, we’re here to ensure every detail is seamless and every moment is memorable.
Suites Designed for Comfort & Preparation:
Our venue includes two full suites with private restrooms, ideal for getting ready or taking a quiet moment during your day. A third, spacious suite is available for family use, giving everyone room to relax and enjoy the morning’s excitement.
We have many included amenities such as a day-of venue coordinator, full weekend rentals for extended celebrations, secure parking and gift storage, open vendor policies allowing you to choose the team that fits your vision and much more.

The Oliver Building is a stunning, architecturally striking venue with roomy suites and a photogenic space that needs little decor. Coordinators and staff were responsive, organized, and helpful, and weekend access made setup and rehearsals easy. One couple reported understaffed bar service causing long lines, but overall guests found the venue exceptional and good value.

A big shout out to Caitlin, Curtis and the team, who made the entire process so easy. One of the biggest bonuses (to me) of this location was the availability of the space from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. It made our jobs so much easier with decoration and removal. Not having to worry about anything the night of the wedding was priceless.
