We couldn’t have been happier with the Lora team, specifically Angie, the events manager and their chef- he’s incredible! The budget was accurate, we were updated every step of the way, dinner was fabulous, the bar was spot on with offerings, the venue was spotless indoors and the outside ceremony lawn area was gorgeous, perfect for our event, equipped as promised and everything ran like a well oiled machine. The hotel was gorgeous, the rooms well appointed and comfortable, the staff was accommodating as well. We couldn’t have been happier to have chosen the Lora for our wedding. Cheers to Angie and staff for a night we will never forget!

My wife and I just got married at the St. James Hotel in June and we were blown away by how beautiful the venue was, and how fantastic the staff was! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at the St. James, all in separate rooms, ALL of which were stunning! The Historic room was a great way to kick off the weekend with the rehearsal dinner as the room and space were perfect and elegant, and really showed our guests the charm and history of this amazing hotel. We then used the Summit room for the ceremony and reception and our guests could not stop talking about how perfect and beautiful and room and views were. The windows show enough of the West that we got to have the sun shining in on the venue and then we got incredible views of the sun setting as the backdrop to speeches and first dances. The sun setting at that perfect time was unforgettable. We then utilized Jimmy’s Pub for the cocktail hour which was a fun and unique room to show our guests. We enjoyed having separate rooms instead of having guests all stuck in the same one the entire night. Not only was the venue incredible, but the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so nice, so accommodating, and very professional. Shelly was our wedding coordinator and she knocked it out of the park. Between our countless questions and requests, she was never impatient or short. She was always extremely positive and lots of fun to work with. We created a great relationship with her, and she made the day run that much smoother! She was also very quick on her toes if we had any small hiccups the day of (which was practically nothing). The front desk and bartenders were also amazing, super fun, and easy to work with. Shelly, the kitchen staff, and Amy (the pastry chef) also went over and beyond to accommodate our food allergies! I am allergic to corn and eggs while my wife is allergic to gluten and dairy. They were completely understanding and super flexible, providing us with meals, snacks, and drinks that we could have. Amy then also made us a special cake that did not have any of those allergies while still tasting delicious! Just the whole staff in general made the whole weekend and everything building up to the wedding so easy and fun and they made the weekend amazing! Aside from the actual venue and staff, Red Wing was a beautiful town to have guests visit. It feels like your own small destination wedding coming from the cities. It was also a lot of fun to have most guests staying at the St. James Hotel, so we didn’t have to go anywhere starting with the rehearsal dinner, all the way to the breakfast on Sunday. If you’re considering booking the St. James Hotel, we would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it! Everything turned out perfect and beautiful, the staff was incredible, and we had an incredible weekend we’ll cherish forever.

We originally began working with the Holiday Inn Lakeville with their venue coordinator Heidi K., but sadly, she moved onto another venue a few months before the wedding. The transition to Jamie was seamless, and they made sure all of our notes/discussions were passed along so we did not lose any groundwork laid out earlier in the planning process. They catered to our every request and even provided some great insight and recommendations regarding timing and nuances of the venue (i.e. whether to have brunch in the ballroom or conference room). In regards to booking rooms and checking the room block, our hats go off to Mitch and Amanda. Mitch took care of everything for us from showing us what the rooms looked like in our early visits, to asking if we needed anything every time he passed us in the hallways that weekend. Amanda updated us regularly on how the room block was doing and if we needed to add any additional accommodations, which was extremely helpful in keeping us aware of who booked a room and making sure we had the right number of guests who RSVP’d. The catering from Rudy’s truly does not need any description besides all of guests complimented their meals saying all of the food was delicious. If anyone wants to try their food before thinking of having a wedding there, make Rudy’s a date night and try some of their different food – you will not be disappointed! We opted for chicken breasts in a campaign sauce, pork with a cranberry sauce, pasta for a vegetarian option, and chicken fingers as a kids option. Our sides were mashed potatoes and Asian-style green beans. All of the staff at the Holiday Inn Lakeville genuinely seemed excited for our special day, which made our day even more perfect knowing they were as happy for us as our friends and family.

We loved having our wedding at the DoubleTree! From the food at Axes, to the shuttle service for photos, everything went extremely well. I was worried due to a little rain but Kim (our coordinator for that day) was outside wiping tables and making sure my husband and I had everything we needed to have the most perfect event. The bar was excellent and everyone who served food was timely and professional. I would 100% recommend having your big day here ❤️

We highly recommend having your wedding at Embassy! Our day was truly perfect and the best day of our lives. Taylor O. was outstanding and helped us from the very beginning of the planning process all the way through our wedding day. From decorating to helping with our timeline and planning, she and her team were a huge help in making our dream day possible! Some of the key things we loved about Embassy: Having Taylor throughout the entire wedding planning process. She truly took so much of the stress off of us and made the whole process easier. Having Taylor and her team handle all of the decorating. I loved being able to drop off our decorations and not have to worry about setting everything up. It was all done for us! This allowed us to be more present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. Having the venue all weekend. Being able to have the venue from Friday evening through Sunday morning was so convenient and made the entire weekend feel much more relaxed. Being able to use decorations and items Embassy already has. This was a huge help with our budget and gave us so many options without having to purchase everything ourselves. We are so thankful we chose Embassy for our wedding and would highly recommend them to anyone planning their special day!

We were so pleased with our experience at the DoubleTree Downtown Saint Paul. We looked at multiple venues and were sold on the Doubletree once we talked to the Wedding Coordinator Adena and her staff. The venue itself is amazing with a recently renovated ballroom. Our guests commented on how beautiful the space was for the reception. Lastly, we were blow away by the quality and taste of the food. All of our guests loved the food. A bonus was that the Doubletree is able to get craft beers on tap that other venues may not be able to get.

The Millennium Hotel was an incredible wedding venue! Mark and Fatima were great to work with, the food was good, and all of the staff did a great job ensuring everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Also, the views really are stunning. So many people took photos in the dome, and it was incredible to have our first dance under the open sky. I would highly recommend the Millennium Hotel, and I would recommend getting a quote, even if you think it may be too expensive. We didn't think it was going to fit in our budget, but we reached out just in case, and it actually did!

The coordinator was very helpful throughout the process giving us many options for our stay. They were able to easily facilitate passing out a guest card with shuttle information and restaurant options in the area. The bar staff was great as we had a post wedding get together there and they were super friendly and accommodating! It was great knowing everything was being taken care of and we could focus on relaxing. The ramp did take a bit to navigate to but the signage was excellent and loading was easy out front of the hotel. Would totally recommend for an event or just a downtown hotel stay.
