The Lofton Hotel has two event spaces available for your wedding. Stunning 17-foot ceilings, modern chandeliers and stand-out architecture are featured in their beautiful Stone Arch ballroom, making it the perfect space for those who want to have a lavish celebration. The room can host up to 300 guests for sit down dinners. For those who would prefer to have a more intimate gathering for their special day, the option of Tangle Town on the fourth floor will host up to 100 guests is an ideal alternative if you are looking for more of a restaurant style ambiance.

Excellent Venue

I worked with Loews to help plan my sisters wedding. We hosted the evening reception in the gorgeous onsite restaurant. Everything went perfect that evening, the wedding coordinator Carrie was very helpful and so was the onsite staff. The best part of the experience was definitely the food. Most of our guests were from out of town and they were all impressed by their rooms and the top-tier service provided by the hotel staff. I highly recommend Loews as a wedding venue.

Wonderful experience at Loews Mpls!

We held our wedding reception at the Loews and had all of our out of town guests stay in the room block. We had a really wonderful experience. The events manager, Carrie, and her entire team were extremely professional, responsive and accommodating with some of our quirky requests. The ballroom was beautiful and guest rooms are modern and spacious. I would highly recommend this venue - they took a lot of stress out of our planning and helped make our weekend feel extra special.

Amazing wedding at Loews hotel

If you are looking for a truely unforgettable wedding, look no further than Loews. We worked with Carrie who helped us with every step and we could not be happier with our experience and the service we received. She was on top of her game from start to finish, responsive and made sure everything went as expected on the big night. She was very accommodating to a few unique requests and made us feel that we were the only event she was planning. The food was fantastic and every employee we encountered at Loews exhibited professionalism across the board. If we had to do this all over again, there is zero doubt in our minds that it would be at Loews.

Incredible and at ease

What an incredible and special wedding weekend for my wife and I. The Loews hotel was incredibly accommodating while in town for my wedding. Carrie Mabery who handles my reservation, events and wedding block is one of the best in the business and I would highly recommend you reaching out to her for your stay/group event. I was speechless as the hotel put my family, friends and party at ease and made us feel like we were at home. Great staff, great service, huge rooms, centrally located and by far the best hotel in Minneapolis! Thanks again for such a memorable weekend.

My husband spent the first two night of our honeymoon here and had an amazing experiences! We got in super late the first evening so they valet parked our car for two nights, but only charged us for one. They upgraded us to the penthouse suite for two nights (instead of the original one) so we didn't have to move the following night. The service was amazing! We'll definitely be going back!

Fantastic Service - Everything ran smoothly, and it looked like a million bucks. Many guests said it was the best food they had EVER had at a wedding. Penthouse suite was amazing for the evening as well - the Graves was the perfect venue. We'd pick it again a thousand times.

The Graves 601 Hotel would be my top recommendation for anyone looking for a top-service hotel in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. My husband and I were frequent guests so we knew the level of service provided by the Graves, however for our wedding ceremony and reception we were beyond happy with their service. First, they were extremely flexible in working with us, specifically on the dinner menu. They made new recipes just for us to reflect our backgrounds and our desires for the evening. Second, their reservations crew was great in helping ensure the 70+ rooms we had booked for the evening were correct - our guests all spoke of the easy check-in and the top service they received. Lastly, the Graves 601 is just an amazing hotel - the rooms are trendy yet amazingly comfortable!!! Everyone says they have the best beds - and it's true!!!
The Graves is situated in a great location in Minneapolis - in the heart of downtown yet right off the light-rail train. A perfect location for our out-of-town guests.
Graves 601 receives my top recommendation to others looking for a fabulous venue!

Gorgeous, modern venue! Plenty of interesting spots if you're going to do indoor photos and the best ballroom in the Twin Cities in my opinion.

We did both our ceremony and dinner reception in the ballroom, moving out to the foyer for cocktails while they flipped the room. We had about 160 guests, but it could easily accommodate at least 300. Since it isn't as popular as some of the other downtown hotels, we were able to get a Saturday evening in August when most other places were already booked. It is similar to the other hotels in price, but you'll have to pay for parking. I'd recommend telling your guests to valet, since it can be confusing to get to the hotel from the Block E lot.

We worked with Susan Davis, who was very nice though sometimes not as thorough as I would have liked, so be sure to check everything twice during your planning. She accommodated all our special requests and really helped us to make our budget work Some of the hotel staff weren't super friendly in our initial visits, but they seemed to have fixed that issue.

The food was phenomenal, restaurant quality, with generous portions and arrived hot. We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Note: the the staff will not clear plates while speeches are going on, so plan accordingly in your timeline.

And don't be put off by the somewhat contemporary decor of the room.....I've done some beautifully classic weddings there as well as some very cutting edge floral design and both have worked with equal success. Call Donna.....she's delightful to work with (and is extremely accomodating to the needs of all her vendors.....VERY important!)... as is ALL of the Graves staff right down to the wait staff which in my eyes are one of the most professional and friendly crews I have had the pleasure to interact with. I give the Graves 5+ STARS!!!!!!!!
