Couples can welcome up to 425 guests to their wedding celebration at The East Town Ballroom at the Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown. This elegant banquet hall offers 5,200 square feet of space for couples and their milestone events. There is a pre-function space wrapping around the outside of this ballroom where guests can enjoy a charming cocktail reception. The space is outfitted with a neutral color palette, adapting to any design scheme to-be-weds might favor. Natural light fills the room, thanks to the windows set high along the ceiling. When the sun goes down, the space is illuminated by recessed lighting. Prior to their cocktail reception, couples can exchange their vows at an outdoor ceremony, using the hotel's paved patio. A backdrop of ivy adds a touch of nature to the contemporary, urban wedding setting. Inside the ballroom, couples will find a dance floor in the middle of the room, so that everyone can watch that magical first dance. September Wedding
Emma Carmichael was nothing but responsive, attentive, kind, and just overall amazing.
I also appreciated full financial transparency whenever I needed because let's be real here, wedding expenses can add up. I was nervous that the food would not be all that great as I have been to other weddings at hotels that just do not hit the mark with the food. To my surprise, the food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, our guests were talking about it throughout the night! The waitstaff are quick and incredibly kind, asked if we needed anything at all and were quick to accommodate.
Any questions I had, at any given time during our wedding planning process, Emma always responded promptly.
On our wedding day, clouds came in and out and it began to rain during our ceremony start time. Emma and her team notified us immediately and came up with a solution. Well, the rain stopped and they were able to set everything back up outside for our beautiful ceremony in front of that ivy wall all while staying on our timeline!
I will definitely suggest this venue for any friends getting married in the future!
Booking at the Marriott was the best decision -- excellent wedding coordinators & staff!
