We had the absolute joy of getting married at The Copper Hen in July 2025, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Planning was stress-free—Marisa was simply great. She’s incredibly responsive, organized, and generous with her ideas and insights from past events. Her guidance helped us feel confident and excited throughout the planning process. The team on the night of our wedding was exceptional. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and made sure our guests felt cared for. Their warmth and professionalism added so much to the atmosphere and made the evening feel truly special. The food and drinks were phenomenal. One of the biggest highlights for us was the ability to customize our menu. It allowed us to create a dining experience that felt personal and reflective of us as a couple. Everything was cooked to perfection, served warm, and beautifully plated. We chose family-style service, which added a cozy, communal feel to the evening that our guests loved. As for the budget, understanding their pricing was straightforward and everything was always clear - no hidden or unexpected costs. The transparency allowed us to work within the bounds of our wish list and budget seamlessly. Overall, we are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding at The Copper Hen. It was the perfect setting to gather with our closest family and friends, and we’ll cherish the memories forever.

Staff were great, atmosphere was so unique, and the food was amazing. The price was less than we expected it would be as well. We would highly recommend working with this venue as we loved it so much!

I had my wedding at Clyde in October and cannot say enough about how perfect this venue was for our wedding and how amazing the staff were. Everything was set up and coordinated exactly as requested and the staff were organized, friendly, efficient, and overall outstanding throughout the entire day and night. Our guests were blown away by how unique and beautiful the space was and everyone loved the food. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Clyde and were impressed by how professional and organized the staff was just for that. We knew this was the venue for us the first time we toured and it turned out to be the perfect spot for our dream wedding. We loved how versatile the space is and how you can truly make it into exactly what your vision is for your big day. The only recommendation I'll make is that the events manager should have an assistant to help with emails and other duties. I was in communication with this person for over 3 years and there were times it took a week for them to get back to me. Even when it took a long time, all my questions were eventually answered which was appreciated but it was a little frustrating at times. Overall, they did an outstanding job with having all the details perfect when it came down to the rehearsal dinner and wedding, but I do think with the amount of events they host at Clyde each week, they could expand their team to take some of the stress off one person since they're so busy all the time. Having out wedding was at Aster Cafe in their River Room was wonderful! The room itself was beautiful and unique which meant we had very little of our own decor. We also were able to utizlise their outdoor green Shasta tent for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We loved that space too and was really happy we had the option to use that space along with the River Room. Serina was wonderful to work with as well. Great communication, knowledgeable and timely. She was great to talk to during the planning process and she was great to work with day of. The bar staff was 10/10 and the food was 10/10 (Jefe). For anyone who is wanting a smaller wedding under 100 people I highly suggest Aster Cafe and their River Room. Thank you Serina and Aster Cafe for the best day!

Jax Café, it's owner Bill Kozlack, his General Manager Mike Bazewicz, and all their staff did a wonderful job. They were able to make many last minute changes and responded very quickly. The staff there are made us feel very welcome and many even signed our guestbook. At Jax you're more than just another customer.

Canadian Honker was our caterer for our wedding at the Mayowood Stone Barn. They were beyond nice, flexible, willing to make our hopes and dreams come true - everything from edible flowers on our cocktails to signature drinks, they made it all happen! Jesse was outstanding! The service was incredible and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend Canadian Honker!

The food from Woolley's at the Embassy Suites Airport was AMAZING!!! During our food tasting, we had no idea which dishes to choose since they were all so great. We ended up going with the bruschetta chicken and venetian pork medallions. Everything was SO delicious! The hors d'oeuvres at are cocktail hour were also amazing!! I got many comments from our guests that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! HIGHLY recommend Woolley's and Embassy Suites for your wedding reception!

My husband and I live out of state and Manitou was excellent. Savannah, the coordinator was extremely helpful with answering questions not only about Manitou but about the area in general. We received many compliments on the food, which was delicious. The chef and staff went above and beyond our expectations and requests. My dad, can't eat cheese or garlic, Savannah made note of that when we went for tasting. The evening of the wedding the staff asked my dad if he would prefer a baked potato because the roasted baby red potatoes are seasoned with garlic. ( My husband and I didn't even think of this during the tasting, they went above to make sure our guests were taken care of. We decided to have our meal family style and it was perfect, everyone had plenty to eat. My husband and I also decided against a traditional wedding cake and simply had the dessert bars from Manitou --- I highly recommend the lemon ones. The venue is very nicely decorated, very elegant and formal without being too stuffy. The only real suggestion I would make is to include more pictures on web site of the venue itself, but also of the surrounding area. Coming from a bride that planned from four states over, this would have been nice.
