The events were fantastic. The photos on this website look exactly like the events that my wife and I attended. Everything was pristine. The service staff was professional and attentive. The food was exceptional and served in a timely way. The music was appealing to all ages. The dance floor remained crowded with young and old. The wedding coordinator, Shannon, made a special effort to make herself available to the needs of all the attendees. We had a wonderful time.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Katie Parks for our wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Hotel in St. Michaels, Maryland at the end of May 2026, and we truly cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning of the planning process, Katie was calm, organized, responsive, and incredibly reassuring. Wedding planning comes with countless moving pieces, and throughout every guest count adjustment, timeline update, and last-minute change, she handled everything with such professionalism and grace that we never felt overwhelmed. What impressed us most was her ability to adapt when unexpected weather threatened our plans. When rain forced changes to our original vision, Katie seamlessly adjusted every detail and transformed what could have been a stressful situation into something just as beautiful and magical as we had imagined. In many ways, the day exceeded our expectations because of her creativity and quick thinking. One of our favorite decisions of the entire day was a dance floor adjustment she suggested, and it ended up being a highlight of the reception. Beyond her exceptional planning skills, Katie has a wonderful presence that puts everyone at ease. Our families, bridal party, and guests repeatedly commented on how kind, professional, organized, and genuinely caring she was throughout the entire weekend. It was clear to everyone that she truly loves what she does and is deeply invested in creating an unforgettable experience for her couples. Because Katie was handling everything behind the scenes, my husband and I were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day without worrying about logistics or unexpected challenges. That peace of mind was truly priceless. If you are considering Katie Parks as your wedding planner or coordinator, do not hesitate. She played an enormous role in making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more, and we are so grateful to have had her by our side.
