The events were fantastic. The photos on this website look exactly like the events that my wife and I attended. Everything was pristine. The service staff was professional and attentive. The food was exceptional and served in a timely way. The music was appealing to all ages. The dance floor remained crowded with young and old. The wedding coordinator, Shannon, made a special effort to make herself available to the needs of all the attendees. We had a wonderful time.

Kari is the go-to wedding planner of the Eastern Shore! Look no further if you want the best of the best. I worked with Kari for my October 2018 wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin while living across the country in San Francisco. She seamlessly created my vision of " Northern California meets the Inn at Perry Cabin" with the most creative, classic and chic styling. She is well known and well respected by all of the local vendors, so you know you're in good hands with Kari taking charge. She thoughtfully guides, gives suggestions but respects and encourages any decision you make on your own. She is detail oriented, doesn't sweat the small stuff (and makes sure that you don't either!) and makes what can be a very stressful time seem like a breeze. I was so thankful for her local suggestions she went out of her way to help me with ( local babysitters, a local nail salon and even a dog kennel). What stood out the most for me though, was how amazing Kari was the day of the wedding, pulling everything together calmly, professionally and if there was any issue she never let me know about it! Because of her and her team's hard work, I had the best day of my life!

We worked with Kari for our September 2017 wedding in St. Michaels, Maryland. We are based in DC, and we knew that we needed someone who was flexible, organized, and with a strong eye for design (check). We also wanted someone who could somehow translate our cluelesness about all-things-wedding into a miraculously beautiful and seamless weekend (check). Hands down, sne did this and more. She is unbelievably professional, calm, and collected with any deadline, neurotic or panicked email, and/or possible snafu that can (will) happen with a wedding. And she designs some of the prettiest weddings in the Mid-Atlantic. She pulled together the dream team of vendors and we never lost a wink of sleep over whether the wedding would come together perfectly. To boot, we had some (not insignificant) challenges with contracts we signed BEFORE finding Kari, and she went to bat for us to resolve these problems. She's incredible at her craft and we remain entirely grateful and honored to have worked with her for our wedding. Thank you Kari!

We were so lucky to have Kari help us with our wedding! She took our small ideas and turned them into one big beautiful wedding! We had sort of a "destination" wedding in Baltimore (my husband and I live in Illinois and our families live on the Eastern Shore) so my mom was the one who mostly met and worked with Kari and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her! Kari helped us with flowers, the timeline, linens, invitations, and so much more! She assured us everything would turn out beautifully, and of course she was correct! She came up to Baltimore and spent the entire weekend with us making sure everything from the rehearsal to the wedding to the morning after brunch ran smoothly. Her ideas are chic and timeless and you truly can't go wrong with Kari as your wedding planner/ coordinator!

Where do I even begin? Kari Rider of Kari Rider Events was one of the first vendors I hired ONLY a few short weeks after getting engaged. Since we were having a wedding at my childhood home on the Eastern Shore, we knew we needed someone, who could be there throughout the entire planning process and of course, the weekend-of to make sure things ran smoothly. And she did exactly that! Kari was always responding fast to emails, offering to attend meetings with vendors, and willing to put in the extra effort to make everyone in the family happy with the decisions being made. My vision came to life beautifully with her guidance, and I could not have been more thrilled with how everything looked that day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I really don't know what we would have done with Kari. We hired Kari about 2 months before our wedding, and she was absolutely terrific to work with from day 1. Along the way, she was responsive, responsible, and has a wonderful attention to detail. Through it all, she also kept a very calm head and helped us in a way which never felt pushy. Our interactions were extremely professional, and you could tell she truly cared about the event.

On the weekend of the wedding, Kari again was excellent. She showed up early to the venue (even before our families arrived) to ensure things were in order, organized a thorough walk through, and on the day of the event, was on top of everything from managing vendors to helping guests. Through it all, she kept a close look at the budget and tried where possible to do things in a cost efficient manner. We both truly felt that she was on our side through the process.

Kari was wonderful! I think that many wedding planners/coordinators can be pushy and somewhat overbearing. Kari was friendly, very accommodating and flexible. She allowed us to be ourselves and do exactly what we wanted to do throughout the entire process. Most importantly, she made sure everything happened and went exactly as planned. She had a lot of excellent ideas for our wedding in general and she also knows a lot about vendors specific to the Maryland Eastern Shore, which was extremely helpful. Nothing was ever too much for Kari, whenever I asked her if she would be able to do something she always said of course, no problem. Kari will help to make your wedding day exactly how you envision it to be. Working with Kari was like working with a friend. I would definitely recommend her if you are planning a wedding on the Eastern Shore/Annapolis or pretty much anywhere near DC/Baltimore area, I am sure she can handle it, she is truly awesome!!!!
