Wedding Venues in Springfield

We had our wedding reception on the rooftop which turned out perfectly. Loren was great to work with throughout all the planning process - even on a quicker time schedule (5 months!). He helped us coordinate with the chef for a custom menu which was delish. We DIYed our decor, and Loren and the team went above and beyond decorating the tables and surrounding areas. They also broke down everything at the end of the night which meant we were able to celebrate with our guests and head on to the after party without any extra logistics. We were initially concerned about bugs, wind, and lighting. Bugs and wind weren’t an issue at all, and we ended up finding someone to install strings of lights across the rooftop. I would suggest Crowne Plaza look into adding these by default as I think they really transformed the space. Thanks to Loren & the team for helping us pull off our big day!

Route 66 was on top of everything!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Panther Creek in April 2022 and had a wonderful experience! Susan, Amy, Lucas, and the entire Panther Creek staff was very accommodating and so easy to work with from start to finish. Susan is a very talented event coordinator, she is extremely organized and made the entire process run so smoothly. She was extremely helpful with questions we had along the way, honest about what has gone well or not so well in the past, and took into account cost and our budget as she made recommendations which we really appreciated. She had great ideas and was willing to work with our request to have our ceremony in the main dining room which was a huge task for her team to take on. Everything turned out even more beautiful than we expected and Susan and her team did an amazing job making sure our day went perfectly. We heard over and over from our guests how impressed they were with the food, space, and Panther Creek Staff. We are SO happy with how everything went and can’t recommend Panther Creek enough!

First of all, Loren is amazing! Unfortunately for him, he had to deal with me for like three years due to the pandemic. He makes everything so easy that the bride does not need to worry about anything. Day of, he was there making sure everything was perfect. He is a rockstar and you can trust with your bid day!

The ALPLM is a stunning venue for a wedding reception. The museum staff helped us every step of the way. Our cocktail hour was in the museum library, and the reception was in the museum itself. The bride and groom walked out of the replica of the White House to be announced to their guests! There is even an option to project a "GoBro" image of their initials on the wall. We received so many compliments about our choice of venue!

The facilities are very beautiful. There is a lot of aminities like a sound system and a kitchen that one can use. Also they are very flexible with what you need and when you can get access to the facilities.

The State House Inn is by far the best quality at such a great price!! We had 150 people at our wedding and the governor's ballroom is beautiful and has a great location!! The hotel rooms and the hotel itself has a retro feel (which I love) which made guests that stayed there as well have a good time. Cynthia is the name of the Wedding Coordinater that is included with your deposit and she is amazing!! She answered my millions of questions and helped to coordinate all of my vendors and worked just as hard as I did leading up to the big day. Kara helped with all of our room block needs and also answered my millions of questions. Now State House Inn is under contract with five flavors, so outside catering is not allowed but it was when I initially signed the contract so I did use an outside caterer so I cannot rate the five flavors catering skills.

Tammy at Erin's was so easy to work with. She always responded timely if I had a question and worked with me when we needed to make a change.
