Park Wedding Venues in Springfield

My daughter had her reception at Ravina and it was so great. A gorgeous night and our family and friends had so much fun. The food was so good too. Highly recommend.

Married in the Rose Garden on 10-12-19. I liked that they limit 1 bride at a time on site. However that ended up not being an issue for timing my arrival or departure there because out of dumb luck, there was no wedding before ours. The one after ours moved to the zoo just a couple weeks before our day. Yay! That allowed us time to get photos before and afterwards. The garden is always open to the public, but if there were “public” people there during our ceremony, I didn’t notice. We had the Orangery reserved also. We didn’t need it, but when considering a tent and chair rental cost, it was worth the peace of mind, because we weren’t sure if we’d need it due to the first freeze warning and gusts in the forecast. The staff was excellent each and every time I made contact via phone or in person. We signed about 14 months in advance for a fall wedding. Event coordinator changed during that time, and everything was still in order with no hiccups along the way. The only thing I’d suggest is if at all possible, try to add a room where at least the bride can simply put the dress on?

Not only is the venue perfect for any Illini fan, it is unique for all guests as well. The Colonnades Club was provides a little bit for everything - unique venue, great service, and plenty for everyone to do to enjoy a wedding. There is a great dance floor, outdoor seating overlooking the football field, and comfy seating for those who just wanted to relax. It really lent to a great wedding reception! I would recommend this venue!

Camp Wokanda was perfect for us! You should note, we were very laid back and on a budget. Camp Wokanda was completely hands off, which was nice for us. We had access to the ceremony and site from noon on Friday to noon on Sunday. This allowed us to set up Friday night and have our bridesmaids and groomsmen tear down on Sunday. On Saturday, all we had to do is get married and party! Our wedding was a sentimental, love-story/fairy tale theme, so the wooded setting was perfect for us. If you are looking for a venue that will do all the footwork for you, and take care of business, Camp Wokanda is not it. If you are looking for a venue that is EXTEMELY inexpensive, beautiful outdoor setting, and will let you plan the party the way you want, then it is for you! We paid only $800 for the whole weekend.

What a lovely garden in the middle of Streator! Truly you dont even feel like you are in Illinois when you are within the walls. A lovely English garden! We chose to have our formal wedding pictures here after our ceremony at the Silver Fox. For a small fee we were allowed full access to the garden, capturing some amazing photographs! Check them out! Thank you Mr. Weber for such a lovely venue!
