Route 66 was on top of everything!

Perfect if you want to have alcohol it work wonderfully because you don't have to worry about guests getting back to their hotel, they'll already be there.

I would not recommend using rt 66 for your reception or as a hotel. We thought we were getting a great deal for our money. When our guests started to check into the hotel they were put into the worst rooms. My parents and sister were put into a room that had mold growing in the bathroom area. When they were moved they were then put into a room with a refridgerator that did not work and stunk. Other friends checked in and were put in rooms that were dirty and even on was put in a room where they were still working on the sink. The suite we were in the floor was wet near the tile and carpet met. I was told I would be able to check into my room before i had to go get ready for the wedding and I was not able to. We had to check in right before the reception. The door for the reception were suppose to be open by 5 so our guest would be able to get in. We arrive quater after 5 and all our guests were in the hall waiting to get in. When we knocked on the door they would not let us in. We pd for the room from 5-1am. We were finally allowed in at 5:30 when the meal was suppose to be served. The wine was not on the table like we had requested and it just seemed like the were not prepared at all for our party.
We had paid for 2 pony kegs of 2 different beers once the first ones ran out they were to let myself or my husband know. they never did and when someone in our bridal party asked them why the second were not opened they staff apparently did not have a key to where they were being stored. The alcohol was cheaper in the bar than what they were charging at our reception.
By the end of the night I had taken out my vail and placed it on the table where our parents were seated. When it was time to head to the room it was no longer there. I asked around to my family and they had not seen it. I ended up going to the bartender telling her my vail was gone. She went into the kitchen and somehow a guy came out asking me if it was what he had in his hand. I would love to know why it was in there to begin with. I am normally a trusting person but not when you take something off the table. We felt rushed to leave even though we had pd for another hour.
During the planning of the reception we were never notified of staff changes. I had to call to find out someone new had taken over the event. When I met with that person it seemed like she did not have a clue in what was going on. I finally ended up working with Leah who had been there the whole time. She worked with us to make sure that everything was set. I had no complaints about working with her. Just the rest of the staff.

I wold never stay at this hotel or use them for any service. They were unprofessional.
